For the record...horseradish and wasabi are completely different plants/flavors. Most of what you'll find in the US is horseradish (which I also like), but green dyed horseradish is most definitely NOT wasabi (despite what anyone or any packaging says...).
Most of this is due to how cheap and common horseradish is compared to wasabi. Wasabi is considerably harder to grow and both the leaves and root can be used for food, medicine, and such. Horseradish is pervasive (like a weed), and sure, lol...try eating those leaves and see how it goes.

So my grandmother's sister passed away about a week ago. At the funeral, her son told my grandma to take anything she wanted. She picked a few things and gave me this little doll (knowing I collect toys). I think it's really cute and I'll cherish it as it was my grandaunt's toy. Does anyone know what type of doll it is? I've seen them before but I don't know the name...
I wanna get him some clothes.![]()

Even I've heard of kewpie dolls, and the closest I ever got to collecting dolls was cutting the hair off my sister's barbies. (Boy was she ticked...) Kewpie dolls were a big thing back before and during WWI. Cheaper kewpies were even given out as carnival prizes, which is where the phrase "catch the kewpie" comes from. Also, for a time the colloquialism "to win a kewpie doll" meant to be awarded a modest prize.Haha! No, I don't. But if I did collect dolls I'd let you guys know.
LittleBit!!Where've you been?? Miss you!
