I don't remember much of Digimon, but I always loved the Digimon movie. I'm sure if I went back and watched it would come back to me lol.

That was back when it was deemed a big thing that you could connect two digimon toys and let them fight it out. I was more into Hot Wheels, although the (mercifully short) Hot Wheels cartoon was really cheesy.

When my kid's were toddlers, about 5 and six years ago, I owned a mini van with a VCR in it. One of the movies they loved was the Digimon movie. I never saw the movie I just heard it. I remember hearing this song, Digimon are the champions. Does that sound right?
Last night I heard 2 of my cat's howling. I checked on them and looked out the window and there was an orange cat on my porch. Not just any orange cat, but it was one of the children of Frank the feral cat my church, two blocks away, takes care of. Frank is now neutered and vaccinated. The mailman told us that he's seen a couple of Frank's kid's roaming the neighborhood. None of us had seen them yet, so I'll have to mention that Son (or Daughter) of Frank paid us a visit. For now I've named him , Son of Frank.
As much as I love the melody of this song, this has gotta be the most offensive I've ever heard. And I don't usually take offense when it comes to music. But really.

So friends cancelled coming over because it was too cold to swim. I decided to go play games since it was game playing day, except I didn't check the group message board and so didn't know that they'd cancelled it until I'd driven the hour there and there were no cars there. So I explored the area a little bit, and ended up finding an Asian grocery with a little food place (yay for dragonfruit, Thai iced tea (though seriously that whole little Jello balls in the bottom of your tea thing is still one of the weirdest things ever to me), and fish sauce but not together). I also got a nearly impossible to find book at this little used bookstore that I never knew existed (John White and his Archives of Anthropos series anyone?) and ummm spent too much money at goodwill but got an ice cream maker for when I eventually move out (the kind with the freezable container so you don't have to buy all the ice and salt and stuff to use it) and a bunch of kids books for my friend who lives overseas (because English language books are so hard to come by). And so that was my rather unexpected Saturday. Gonna have to stay home the next several so I don't spend money on those weekends (yep even with a job that pays me quite a bit more than current living expenses I still think freely spending money is a bad habit to develop).
I don't have cable television, we steam stuff, Netflix, Hulu and have an antenna. They just started this channel we can get without cable called Me TV. I know it's been around a while but we just got it. They show old tv shows, it awesome. I'm watching Wonder Woman. I love it!!
And here I thought what I was supposed to do with most of that money was move out and stop living with my parents. But saving for some possible future retirement is also on the list of ways to use money.
