I just spent money on propane that went to the wind, because it leaked... I don't know how to fix it, so my little family is stuck in a cold camper with space heaters, and money that could have gone somewhere else, is wasted now. Lovely. It's going to freeze overnight, tomorrow, which means no water. Nothing will get done with our house until we can get a surveyor out here, which means more money, and I don't know how soon we can get it done.
I have a month. I'm freaking out.

Check the seal on the inner ring on the tank (not the gas valve cap that you put on to turn on the gas for the stove)...it's probably the rubber inside the gas can valve itself that is either chipped/ripped.....use a flashlight and if you hear gas leaking chances are it's not your gas CAP but the valve stem rubber seal inside the connection of your gas tank....
you can change it out if you have another empty propane tank....just use a small watch screwdriver and pop out the old rubber seal and insert the new one or one from another propane tank :)

It's usually a gray circle rubber that you can see inside the metal ring of the gas cylinder/can (not the gas cap/valve) but inside teh gas tank stem....

This is what I'm talking about hopefully I made sense lol....but inside the stem of the can look inside the metal ring w/ a flashlight and if it's chipped/ripped that's what's causing your gas leak and you can fix it by putting a new one of these O rings in or using an old one from an empty can and replacing it using a watch screwdriver/flathead to pry the old one out and then use your finger and thumb to push the new one in....

I had a dimwit give me a gas cylinder that leaked and i figured out it was this rubber seal on the tank itself....tried it out after replacing it with a spare seal and boom it worked with no leaks and we got to cook food! :)

Am I the only person who thinks the choco taco looks gross? I'm not a huge ice cream fan though. So that's probably why.

Lol yea the idea of an actual taco frozen with chocolate drizzled on top isn't too appetizing, but it's really vanilla ice cream inside of a taco-shaped waffle with chocolate on top :D

I've had precisely one choco-taco in my life. That was enough. I can say that I know what one tastes like. Next. It was not bad. It was not good. It just was.

That's depressing. Most definitely not worth 30 minutes of car disco. ;)

No, what's depressing is that I feel the exact same way about most every experience I have had throughout my life. It's all just kind of "...meh". Not good. Not bad. Just a general "yep, did it...next."

:( I wish you could experience life like I do. Although, it might be too girly for you. :)

I've learned to appreciate that my emotional rollercoaster is more like one of those overgrown choo-choo coasters that toddlers ride at county fairs as opposed to the loopy, twisty-mach 5 death coasters most other people ride. My highs ain't real high. My lows ain't real low. It's a slow ride with minimal chance of a derailing. It's pretty much a peace and chicken grease situation.

I know. I've seen them. I don't like ice cream really. I like Gelato and frozen ice, chocolate covered frozen bananas, some frozen yogurt, sherbert is ok, but ice cream gives me a stomach ache.

Don't ever buy a GE washing machine. Save yourself the aggravation.

BLASPHEMER!

I am at a loss for words to reply to this heresy. And now I have to go reassure my three tubs of ice cream in my freezer that they are indeed wanted here. You have hurt their feelings terribly. :p

One does not do car disco to counteract what one ate. One does car disco because it is fun.

Thanks for the replies on my previous posts and sharing your thoughts on some of the things I asked. (Many of you!)

I appreciate it and I wish I could take the time out to reply to the posts and to many other people, but I can't anymore.

I am just too caught up in things and life has become super busy again.

I will get back to this thread after some time.

God bless.
