had not thought of that, but it could be true.

there has been way less the last few months...

The Bible tells us that the earth is stationary and does not move. The question is - as a Christian, are you (whoever) going to believe it?

Nowhere in the Bible does it literally-and-directly say "The earth is flat."; however, what it does say shows us that it cannot possibly be "a spinning ball flying through space"...

The "picture" that the Bible paints essentially says the earth is flat.
Where in scripture says all that?

How did they restructure the site? Maybe they banned them?
But some seek to return under another name, I noticed.

Where in scripture says all that?
This is just a drop-in-the-bucket beginning/start of an answer concerning all that the Bible has to say about the earth; however, it addresses the particular question of the moment:

From https://christianchat.com/threads/flat-earth-debunked.209031/page-34#post-5103119 (post #673)

1 Chronicles 16:

30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

Psalms 93:

1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also
is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Psalms 96:

10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also
shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

Psalms 104:

5 Who
laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

Isaiah 45:

18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

We know that God will eventually destroy the 'old' heaven and earth. The wording in these verses is not intended to indicate a "never will" meaning. Rather, they indicate the intent of God to maintain the earth as His will dictates until such a time that His will allows it to change.

In a way, there is a cause-and-effect relationship here. It is like saying that you built something a certain way and positioned it a certain way so that it should/will never fall over. That does not mean that it absolutely never will fall over. It means that you intend for it to stay in that position for as long as necessary to carry out the purpose that it was built for.

God is saying that He made it and positioned it like He wants it and that only He Himself will change it.

God 'laid the foundations' in such a way that - if He Himself never changed it - it literally would 'not be removed for ever'.

This discussion is to explain the "sense" of the meaning of the words/phrases. God can change it. No one else will be able to.

The wording in the verses still indicate very plainly that [the earth] is physically stationary and does not move. It is fixed in place. It does not spin, wobble, or fly through space at a high rate of speed.

For what it may be worth - to address the overall issue:

The fact that I am a born-again Christian is outside the realm of testable science - but, I believe it!

Part of the problem is - when people treat science like it was the Bible (accepting without question whatever science says), and the Bible like it was science (not willing to believe what scripture says without proof).

Do you see how "backwards" this is? (You have Satan to thank for that.)

People of faith should be more apt to believe what the Bible says and question what 'science' (man) says.

If you put science before the Bible, it will cause you to "miss" or "overlook" what the Bible is trying to tell you.

If you put the Bible before science, you will accept what God says about the earth - it is 'stationary' / 'does not move', it 'has corners', it 'sits on pillars', etc. etc. etc. - and, you will question science when/where it does not agree with what the Bible says.

The Bible says that - on Creation Day - God created a 'firmament' with water above and below it.

The Bible says that the sun, moon, and stars are in the firmament.

The Bible says that the birds fly in the firmament.

What is the 'firmament'?

What else does the Bible say in regard to the 'firmament'?

When are you going to "forget about science" long enough to understand properly what the Bible is saying? And, then see how science measures up to what the Bible says?

You will never understand any of this properly until you are willing to take 'science' to the 'altar' at the feet of Jesus and 'sacrifice' it - forsake it entirely - forget it entirely - giving it no place whatsoever with regard to the truth of scripture - so that you may have a 'full' understanding of what scripture is trying to tell you.

Until you do this - 'science' will be your 'god' where your understanding of our reality is concerned.

More later...?

The greater the cognitive dissonance, the more difficult it is to 'let go and let God' open your eyes to the truth.

This is a matter of faith.

Who has truth - God or man?

When scripture says "not moved", it is not necessarily stay absolutely still.
God says " be still, know that I am God". It does not mean we just freeze to current position, can't go to bathroom.

Isa 40:22: "It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in."

If one understands timespace, he will be amazed to read this verse. How Isaiah wrote thousands years ago, gives light of what we just finding out.

If one properly understands this verse, he will know what has always been common knowledge and understood for all time up to the most recent centuries.

Do you know what 'circle of the earth', 'stretches out the heavens like a curtain', and 'spreads them out like a tent to dwell in' are actually describing?

It is not about 'timespace'; rather, it is about the true nature of the physical structure of our world.

It is referring to the 'dome' positioned above the earth. We live in a giant terrarium.

This is one of the "best known" Flat Earth supportive verses in the Bible.

The scripture never says the earth is flat. Rather, it is a circular ball.
The earth is sitting on a net of time space, just as the scripture says. And the net of time space is expanding, as the scripture tells us. Gravity is related to this arrangement.

Who's Lambchop? I never saw them post and there is nobody by that name here.

I can't keep up with the ones that return after they been banned because they just get banned again and come up with yet another name.

There is a bot check I now see suppose if they log out and are not permanently saved or logged in. There is one that always types in caps and there's another that always seems to posts voluminous posts that I skip over because they are so verbose and use a lot of obscure words.

Not to mention the ones that stick to their own pet conspiracy theories that overtake common sense. I don't wanna name names unless they do something that is personally offensive to me and others, then I wouldn't hesitate to report them. But they have to be highly offensive for me to do that otherwise I need to use the ignore button.

That's true. Mem accused me of being a sock puppet. I just arrived a bit before,a couple of days or do. Then he posted the picture of the classic sock puppet Lambchop.

That old adage comes to mind then. Those who accuse can be the guilty party, looking to lead attention to others and avoid pointed guilt themselves.

I set them to ignore. First on my list.

I'd think that robot system would catch it.

There's one forum I know of that has tons of ads. They let their trolls go be abuse the more posts, the more money for advertising revenue.

And bullies galore. Just for that reason. Inflame, generate replies, make money.

A Christian forum? Hard to believe.

Show me in the Bible where it says all of that...

Be sure to include a Hebrew word study on the words 'ball' and 'circle' in scripture.

If trump had of told them (his staff and reporters) that he was taking a different plane because this one might possibly get shot down by someone working with Iran then we would find out who is really willing to go so far as to be willing to die for him.
