I'm still waiting for the thread that explain how christian men are supposed to behave. or whatnot. lol. obviously, a woman "shouldn't" start that thread because 1) she's a woman, 2) she "supposed" to be silent, 3) the older men should teach the younger man and the older women should teach the younger women.
so as a good, christian, silent woman, I patiently wait for the thread that preaches to the woman-hating man.

Oh! Melita, I would like to answer that one. If a man truly love his wife, I mean lay my life down to protect love: It would be easier for the submission part.
It says:
Col. 3:18 "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord."
Then is says:
Col. 3:19 "Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them."
This type of love is rarer than we realize. If the love were real love, she would always have a say in their decisions. Also her wants, hopes and dreams would matter to her man. He would be constantly doing little things to please or surprise her.
If someone would oppose her for whatever reason, they would have to climb over her man's body to harm her. If a woman were loved like that, I don't think there would be a problem with submission.

I trust his leadership because every day, I see him follow Christ. he constantly encourages me in the talents God has given me. he doesn't lecture me Scripture. we talk about it together. we listen to the Holy Spirit teaching us. I have no problem being united with him. we are a team with Christ being our foundation.

Yes I am serious. The demons are real. Eph 6:12 For we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The churches don't teach you that they are everywhere. They are spirit, so you can't see them. But trust me they do see you.

No. A woman can be covered by an older brother or her father, a male who is in Christ who is able to cover her.
Now someone is really reaching. No one -- other than a very few with a very specific agenda -- has questioned the authenticity of this passage, this chapter, or this epistle. Indeed Peter has declared all of Paul's epistles to be Scripture. So now you need to repent of such a notion, and get down to some serious study of that passage in connection with all related passages.

I know demons are real. What is silly is your belief that they have a particular affinity for women. They bug men and women equally.
Nobody is questioning the authenticity of the chapter or epistle. It's 1 Cor 14:34-35 that are questionable. It's a fact.
And if you believe 1 Cor 14 is fully scripture, why don't you believe 1 Cor 14:5?
