It's one of my shots and it is a live track image
but I don't remember how I got it to this point.
If it was color, it could have been changed to black and white, then put in negative providing you have that option.
Here is a beginning, not good by any means but it gives an idea of it.

Please feel free to edit this. I'm pretty sure I ran the other image through Photomatix for an HDR effect,

The rider in the shot below is a female AMA racer. Notice that this race is on a wet track - unusual. Also she crashed at Daytona and got her hand stuck under the handle bars for the long slide. Ended up losing that little finger. She had a typical bike racer attitide - " Well, now I get a 10% discount on manicures".

Here's one concerning the down side of motorcycle racing from July 2006. The rider came into a left hander at speed est at 90 to 110 mph. Bike lowsided - rear tire lost traction - bike fell over and the slide began. Not visible are the concrete construction barriers behind the tire. When he hit the tires, the bike went straight up about 20 to 25 feet or so and came down a couple of feet from the rider. I was about 70 yards and watched for any movement from him with a long lens. Finally his head (yellow helmet) popped up so I knew he wasn't gone.
Broken pelvis in 6 places. Injury to left knee - it was as black as asphalt when I got to him.
The corner worker is on the radio calling for EMT's.

He recovered in about 5 months and was at the last race of the season walking in the pits.
I've been sitting on this shot since 2006. First time posting it anywhere.

Sorry for the dark outcome of the photo. Perhaps you can correct my effort.

The orange wet suit looks a bit over saturated. Other than that, If you are happy with it it's ok. Ansel Adams
once said "The artist is always right."

It's usually best to save your edit as a copy.
