I saw a video from someone "debunking" this 9/23 as the time of the rapture.
1. He says that God does not talk through children. So you can forget all the rapture dreams these kids are having.
What about Samuel? He was given God's speaking and he was only about five or six. What about Joseph, he had his dreams while only a young man. The Bible is very clear that in the end days God will pour out His spirit in dreams and visions. Who is this man to say what God can and cannot do?
That said we are also told that the Bible is the more sure word of prophecy. Yes, we can have charlatans making stuff up and yes, even if the dream is real the interpretation can be flawed.
2. He asks why are Muslims getting dreams of Jesus? Why not Hare Krishnas, or Buddhists, etc?
It is a valid question but in no way debunks someone who has had a dream. God gave Pharaoh a dream, God gave Nebuchadrezzar a dream. You don't have to be a believer to get a dream from God.
3. No one knows the day or hour, that is set in stone.
True, for the first time he actually references a Bible verse. But I would ask, is there any Bible verse that say no one knows the year? No. Is there any Bible prophecy that would indicate what the year would be? Yes in Hosea 6 we are told that God would leave the temple. This happened after Jesus was crucified and ascended. We are then told that 2,000 years later (before we get into the 3,000th year) the Lord would enliven Israel, and that in the 3,000th year He would raise them up. We are not 100% sure of the year that Jesus was crucified, at this point is either 32 AD or 33 AD. That would mean prior to ascension day in 2032 the Jews will be enlivened. That is, Jesus returns in glory to the mount of Olives and then after ascension day He destroys the Antichrist armies at Armageddon. Seven years earlier the tribulation starts which in this scenario would be 2025.
However, there is a second date that we do know and that is the date that the Jewish nation was brought back to the Land. May 14th, 1948. Jesus told us that this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. We know that a generation is 70 or 80 years. Based on that we also get a tribulation beginning in 2025. (I have already shared on this).
But there is more, do we know the day that the tribulation starts? Yes. The seven year period is based on Daniel's prophecy concerning the 70th week. It is a week of years. A shemitah always begins on Rosh Hashanah.
By the way, the nickname for the Feast of Trumpets is "no one knows the day or hour" because they have to see the new moon first.

Jesus said there would be many false prophets, this is simply a fulfillment of that.
