2nd Passover
Some people say 2nd Passover is not important. If it was simply a footnote in the book of Numbers perhaps, but we see it here with Hezekiah and as you can see this event is not "nothing".
2 Chronicles 30:1 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the Lord God of Israel.
After the rapture the woman flees on the wings of the great eagle. I believe this is a reference to Jews returning to Israel from the US. Also I believe many prophecies directed to Ephraim refer to the US and many to Manasseh refer to Jews who were in Germany.
2 For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.
This is an entire chapter about all of Israel keeping 2nd Passover. They were all defiled by dead religion whether it was Rabbis telling them that Jesus was not the Messiah or the Apostasy that departed from the word of God.
3 For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
They have two problems, first they were not sanctified, that means they were not fully separated unto the Lord and made holy. Today in Christianity they condemn anyone that talks about being sanctified as though that is a "works gospel". Like the church in Pergamon they are married to the world. They have been defiled by Balaam and Jezebel. This is why I say that May 14th is resurrection day, the Jews are celebrating the wrong date for Passover. Everyone left behind at the rapture it will be because "they had not sanctified themselves sufficiently".
4 And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation. 5 So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the Lord God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.
Ever since Rehoboam Israel was divided, just like Catholics and Protestants are divided today. However, after the rapture those walls of division will fall down.
6 So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria. 7 And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the Lord God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
At the time of the rapture all believers will see who the genuine believers are and also who the false prophets were. There will be great destruction and persecution of the false prophets. When Elijah called down fire that exposed the prophets of Baal who they then slew. When Samson pushed out the two pillars the temple collapsed killing 3,000. After the rapture there will be a great repentance as the people of God turn back to follow the Lord with their whole heart.
8 Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the Lord, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the Lord your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.
Right after the rapture, those who are left behind will be cast out into outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. They will see the fierceness of the Lord's wrath towards them and that will motivate them to yield themselves unto the Lord.
9 For if ye turn again unto the Lord, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
This is what 2nd Passover is, it is a second chance.
