let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me

Jeremiah 9:22 Speak, Thus saith the Lord, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them.

This is what happened when the Israelites received the evil report. This will also happen at the end of the age when people reject the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel of Jesus is going out into all the earth, some receive it, others reject it. If history is a guide the vast majority reject it and only a small minority receive it. But then God causes their carcases to fall as dung upon the open field. This will cause many to reassess and decide they will heed the word of the Lord.

23 Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

It is amazing all the cool things we have invented based on the laws of physics and it is amazing all these incredible weapons that have been invented and the incredibly vast wealth we are seeing some people accumulate.

24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.

But all those things are vanity when compared to the Lord. He can breath on those weapons and they will fail and glitch out. He can breath on those riches and they will go up like a puff of smoke. When that happens how wise are you then? When all your little toys sends mankind back to the stone age are you still going to be boasting in your wisdom?

25 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised; 26 Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.

Circumcision is a sign of the covenant you have with God. All these gentile nations don't have a covenant with God and the Jews at the end of the age also do not have a circumcised heart. When you see their heart you would never know that they had a covenant with God.

Lot asked for a safe zone and the angel gave him one.

You do not want to wait for the bombs to be dropping. I expect that bombs will drop at the same time as the rapture. So waiting for the rapture is most likely too late.

However, I still think that Damascus becomes a ruinous heap right before the rapture (don't know for sure, but that is likely the very last warning you will have to flee if you are in the US).
 
2 Corinthians 8:1 Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; 2 How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.

We are about to go through the greatest trial of affliction. At this time there is a tremendous opportunity for everyone left behind to have a ministry of faith in helping others in need.

3 For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; 4 Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
 
2 Corinthians 8:7 Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.

There are a lot of talkers that talk the talk, let's see if they can also walk the walk.

8 I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love. 9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

There are many Christians who are rich in the world, during the tribulation it will be time for others sakes to become poor that through your ministry they might be saved. Let's transfer that wealth from the world to the Kingdom of the heavens.

10 And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago. 11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have. 12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.

Don't worry about what you don't have, don't wish for some "billionaire" to come along and help, you do what you can with what you have and let's see if the Lord will work a miracle.

13 For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: 14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: 15 As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.
 
Jeremiah 11:6 Then the Lord said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them. 7 For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice. 8 Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do: but they did them not.
 
Genuine Christians versus those who are living a charade

Jeremiah 14:11 Then said the Lord unto me, Pray not for this people for their good.

This might be something the Lord would say during the seven year tribulation, or especially during the second half, called "the great tribulation". However, the church age is the age of grace where the Lord is merciful and full of forgiveness. That is the gospel we preach right up until the rapture.

12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

This is a reference to those who are left behind after the rapture. To be consumed by the sword, that is the red horse of the apocalypse. To be consumed by the famine is the black horse and to be consumed by the pestilence is the pale green horse.

13 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.

This is the false prophets, it is the white horse of the apocalypse.

14 Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

The Bible is the more sure word of prophesy. Yes, we are now seeing lots of dreams and visions being shared on the internet, but the reality is these dreams and visions are not "the more sure word". If you do not know the word of God then it is arrogant to think you know how to interpret these dreams.

15 Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

God is merciful and He is forgiving. But after a certain period of time it is time for judgment for the things you have done. You don't get to speak falsely in the name of the Lord and not be held to account.

16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.

Yes, the ones who listen to and receive the false prophets are also guilty. They want people to speak words that they like and not to speak anything that might convict them of sin. There are people who do not want to spend time in the word and in prayer, they would rather have someone else do that, tell them what the Bible says, and leave it at that. Their entire testimony as a Christian is a charade. So yes, they also will be held to account.

17 Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.

The rapture is a day of judgment. It will be great if you are caught up and a very grievous blow if you are left behind.

18 If I go forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not. 19 Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul lothed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble! 20 We acknowledge, O Lord, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.

This is the first step towards the healing.

21 Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.

This is the second step. Learn the word of God, get to know your covenant with God and stand on that truth.

22 Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O Lord our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.

We walk by faith in an all sufficient God, this is the genuine Christian life that is not a charade.
 
2 Corinthians 9:1 For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you: 2 For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many. 3 Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready: 4 Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.

Every word of God is good for teaching, for exhortation. It is living and operative. At Paul's time they were collecting for saints suffering from financial hardship. Well we know that in the very near future we will have grievous financial hardship during the seven year tribulation. Food will be short and money will be short. What did Joseph do when he knew about the coming tribulation and famine? He collected food to keep people alive. We should be gathering for those who will be left behind during this coming tribulation.

10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
 
Jeremiah 17:18 Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.
 
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established

Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

We can make a decree and it shall be established. You have to make the decree according to the will of God.

and it shall be established unto thee

This phrase suggests the power and authority given to a person whose life aligns with God's will.

Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

We are coworkers with God, if you are one with the Lord in your ministry then you can make a decree that the Lord agrees with and that shall be established, the enemy cannot frustrate or undo it.

and light will shine on your ways

Psalm 119:105 states, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path,"

God's guidance illuminates the path of the righteous. The word of God is our light, it is also the will of God that every jot and every tittle will be fulfilled. Therefore, pray according to the word of God and make decrees that are one with the Lord Jesus and with His word.
 
It shall accomplish that which the Lord Jesus' pleases

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Lord Jesus I decree that this word in this blog go forth to the four corners of the earth, unhindered by the enemy, unmolested by witchcraft, undisturbed by technological glitches, unadulterated by anyone or by any algorithm or any artificial intelligence for any reason. And Lord Jesus, according to Your word and according to Your will I decree that this word accomplish that which you please, and let this word prosper in the thing whereto You have sent it. Amen and amen.
 
The Comforter will teach you all things

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Lord Jesus I pray, in your name, and standing on Your blood, that this blog would be anointed by the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, which God the Father has sent in Your name. I pray that the Holy Spirit would teach those who read this blog and would bring all things to their remembrance, whatsoever that You Lord, have said to us. Amen and amen.
 
Wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Lord Jesus, I pray that every word in this blog would impart faith and be a shield to those who read, quenching all the fiery darts of the wicked ones. I pray that the bow of the evil ones would be broken and their arrows exhausted as all attack against Your word would be futile. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, amen and amen. I pray all their "smart missiles" would be reprogrammed and return upon their own heads. All this I pray in the precious name of Jesus Christ the Lord. Amen and amen.
 
He hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked

Psalm 129:4 The Lord is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

Lord Jesus, I pray standing on Your blood which has redeemed me and washed me from every sin that all the cords of the wicked would be cut whereby they would try to gain access to my family and my ministry. Amen and amen.
 
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Lord Jesus I declare and decree that this ministry is given to You to serve You. Lord Jesus I declare that you are my righteousness, it is Your work of redemption that has given me a right standing with God. Therefore I lay hold on this promise that no weapon that is formed against me or this ministry shall prosper. And I lay hold of the promise that every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment that thou, O Lord, shalt condemn. I ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
 
John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

All these many things I ask and pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the Father may be glorified in His Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
