What is your calling?
Matthew 20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
Ever since chapter 18 we have been talking about our ego. We want to know who is the greatest and the Lord wants to know who is the least. Even here we see the same thing.
2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
A penny was a days wage. If you go out to the employment office to get a job you need to get a days wage in order to make it worth your while. Think of how we pay people, we pay them by the hour. If you only give me two hours of work and then only pay me for two hours was it even worth my time?
6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
Is it their fault? They were there all day. Maybe they don't look as strong, or as capable as others. But if you hire them and pay them for one hour why would they ever come back, it is a waste of their time and it is also insulting. I used to caddy for a couple of golf clubs and the truth is I wasn't a very good caddy. I didn't know anything about golf and didn't care. They would ask me what club they needed to use and I would be like "I don't know, I don't play golf". They didn't train me, they didn't try to help me be a good caddy, but soon I would go there all day, sit all day and never get picked to go out. Meanwhile others would get picked, do 18 holes and then when they get back go back out for another 18 holes. So I stopped going, what was the point, who wants to sit in a caddy shack from 8am to 6pm and not get paid a dime.
8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. 9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
Now if they paid us a days wage to simply come and sit from 8am to 6pm whether or not we went out then I would have come every day. If you do get picked, then you could be given a tip. Think of a waiter, they get a salary and then they also get tips. But they didn't do that and so caddies at these clubs have all but disappeared, now everyone uses a cart. A good caddy is very helpful, they can coach you. All the pros have caddies and they are there to help them. Again, think of a waiter. At the lowest level they take your order and bring your food. But a good waiter can give you the scouting report on what is good, what is fresh, what to order, what to avoid, what wine goes good with the meal, etc. At high end restaurants people will ask for their favorite waiter and the waiter is a draw to the patrons. They come to that restaurant because of that waiter, at least in part.
10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. 11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, 12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
Again, let's consider the case with a caddy. If you are really a good caddy, you have the most experience, you know the course the best, you should not still be in the caddy shack. You should be the personal caddy of a professional golfer. A caddy who works with the best golfers in the world can make $1 million a year. The caddy shack should be the stepping stone for those who want to make a career out of this.
13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
This was the mistake they made with caddies. You had the really good one that everyone wanted. He would do doubles (carry two bags) for 18 holes, come back and do doubles for another 18 holes, and make good money. Others like myself would not carry any bags unless there was no one else available. The golfers realized they were either getting the good caddy or the bad caddy so they would get offended and instead choose to pay for a cart. As a result half the caddies were not getting any jobs so they stopped coming, and this is how it dries up until there are no more caddies. The Lord has a business, there are full time workers, and then there are those who are sitting in day laborer office waiting to get hired. If you want to make more, become a full time employer. But he understands that the day laborers show up because they need a days pay. If everyone who shows up gets a days pay that office will be packed. The criteria should be they get to the office by 8am and they stay until 6pm. Do that and you will get your days pay.
16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
It seems that this story only explains the first being last and the last first. But it also explains the many be called but few chosen. Again think about the caddy who makes $1 million a year. They are few and far between. But if you want to find that one extraordinary caddy who can help a professional golfer win a tournament you want to give a lot of people a shot at it. It is probably easier to think of basketball. How many kids play basketball in JHS, or HS? Of those, how many play in college? Of those how many play in the pros? Approximately 1% of college basketball players make it to the pros. Perhaps 1% of HS basketball players play it in college. In HS we should have the attitude that the first shall be last and the last first because out of ten thousand kids playing in HS one will make it to the pros. The goal is to give 10,000 a chance. You can't tell if a Spud Webb or Mugsy Bogues is going to make it so you don't tell a kid he is too short or too this or too that.
Last night I was considering this video I posted from Vicki Goforth Parnell. She is amazing. When I hear her speak and pray it makes me examine my own walk with the Lord. I have heard a lot of people teach and expound on the word of God. I appreciate some of them, but I have never considered any of them to be "intimidating". She is the only one out of many brothers and sisters that I look at and am truly humbled by. Think of these guys in the NBA, they are all one in ten thousand. In HS and college they were never intimidated by anyone. But then about 3-5% make it to the hall of fame. This is what it means that "few are chosen".
Each one of us has a calling, if we heed that calling and give ourselves fully to that calling, and look to the Lord for help and guidance and wisdom and grace, then we can be chosen in that particular calling. You know what your calling is. Simply ask yourself this question, what would you give your life to do full time if you could, even if you were not paid a dime?
I read this book once by this guy who works for the military and special forces training others as well as for law enforcement helping them find people. He is a tracker. Who ever heard of a tracker? It is something straight out of the cowboys and Indians. He grew up by a huge national forest in New Jersey and he had a friend who was an elderly "Indian" (native American) who taught him how to track. It was great fun for a ten year old kid. He has since written many books, they made a movie and this lost skill is being taught to our special services and in used in law enforcement. The Lord has worked in the lives of each of us to help us with our calling. Think about when you were ten, think about some special thing you love to do and even if everyone else thinks it is "not a career" simply take it to the Lord because it might be a calling.

Open your eyes, the Spiritual Navy Seals have openings to any willing to go through the training and volunteer for "suicide" missions.
Matthew 20:17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, 18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, 19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
This is the scouting report. When you get to the pros you get a detailed scouting report for every player, every team. This is what would make a great caddy, explaining to you what you are about to see. Jesus is the leader of this band and He is telling them they are going into a "suicide mission". We are getting an inside look at an elite spiritual army, the Navy Seals of the spiritual warfare. Jesus was crucified, but ultimately all twelve of these men will be martyred (except of course for Judas, the one who betrayed Jesus, he'll be the only suicide).
20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. 21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
We are still talking about who is the greatest! In chapter 16 Jesus gave the keys of the kingdom to Peter but then rebuked him saying "Satan get behind me". That probably made the others think the door was still open to be "the greatest in the kingdom". Do you understand how great is the kingdom of the heavens? The entire universe is under the Lord's command and certainly the entire 8 billion people on earth. I am very clear that the job is way too big for me, the only one capable of handling this job is Jesus. Now I would be happy to help and the Lord knows where to best use me. But we are a body, we need every member, and every member will have its calling.
22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
I heard that a lot of people are jealous of Vicki Goforth Parnell. I think that is funny. She is going to go through tremendous suffering, are they jealous of her suffering? I doubt it. They want the prize without paying the price. What I have learned in my life is I want to be where I belong. If I am where I belong doing what I have been called to do I will be happy, joyful. The burden is not heavy, the yoke is easy. On the other hand if you put me in a job that I am not called to do, even if I can do it, I will be miserable. She has her job and she is clearly doing it very well. One reason I watch every video is because I know she is up on a tight wire, no way she can continue to do what she does day in and day out without the Lord's help. I have an idea of how much grief she has to suffer doing what she is doing and no way she would continue unless this was her calling from the Lord.
24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
Indignation, jealousy, envy these things are all part of our natural man and must be put on the cross.
25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Jesus is not indignant at someone aspiring to be great in the kingdom of the heavens. This has repeatedly come up for the last few chapters. Instead He channels that aspiration into embracing the way of the cross and taking the mind of Christ to serve and not be served.
29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him. 30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. 31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. 32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? 33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. 34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
This is the conclusion. If you are envious of Vicki you are blind. If you are indignant with these two asking to sit on the right hand and the left hand then you are like those telling these blind men to be quiet. We need our eyes opened. The only one holding you back is you, there is a big giant cross that you can embrace, there is an unlimited need for ministry that needs to be filled. We need those willing to offer themselves up as a living sacrifice to serve others. We need those willing to take up their cross and follow Jesus.

UB Ready -- VISION-- THE SHOW HAS BEGUN
VISION: Today while in prayer, I heard the Lord speak these words to me, "The show has begun." I was then given a vision where I found myself standing beside a huge circus tent. As I started walking towards the open doorway, I heard a carnival barker who was shouting loudly through a megaphone. He was standing beside the tent and shouting out, "Ladies and Gentlemen! Come one! Come all! Get your seats now to the greatest show on earth!" I then found myself standing inside the giant tent. As the last few people entered in, I looked around and noticed that there wasn't an empty seat in the house. All the seats were now filled. I looked towards the center of the tent and observed three rings - a large ring in the center with two smaller rings on each side. In the small ring on the left side, there were a dozen or so clowns all jumping, dancing, and hopping around, doing silly things and keeping the crowd amused and laughing. In the small ring on the right side, there were animal acts - a bear riding a red bicycle around in circles, a large leopard-type cat jumping on various sized crates, and a large, colorful parrot who was squawking out all manner of vulgarities and curse words. In the large, main center ring was a man who appeared to be a ring master, dressed in a very nice tuxedo with a top hat on his head. I observed this man walk over to a very ornate desk in the center of the ring and take a seat behind the desk. He then pulled a book out of his jacket and began to read it out loud to the crowd. On the desk was a computer with three monitors arranged in a semi-circle around the computer. The ring master seemed to get very upset while reading the book, and he then started angrily ripping pages out of it and setting them on fire. With that, the clowns noticed the fire and came running over to put out the fire with a water hose. But instead of water coming out of the hose, gasoline came pouring out, and the fire grew worse. Then the bear from the ring on the right quickly ran over and knocked the book out of the ring master's hand. The book hit the floor, landing with the cover facing up so I could see the title that was written on it. The title of the book was The Constitution of the United States of America. All of the people in the audience clapped, laughed, and cheered, thinking it was all part of the show. My attention was then drawn to the monitors that were on the desk. I noticed one monitor showing scenes of war. Another one displaying bombs exploding and fires burning. And on the third one, there were people running for their lives from all the destruction that was happening. The ring master got up from the chair very slowly and grabbed one of the baseball bats that had been left by one of the clowns. He then struck each monitor with the bat, destroying them one by one. All three rings were full of activity, keeping all of the people mesmerized. Things were happening so fast that nobody knew what was coming next. THEN THE WHOLE TENT WENT COMPLETELY BLACK. Suddenly, a blinding light exploded through the darkness from above, filling the whole tent with a solid beam of light coming down from the center top of the tent. The beam of light hit the floor, and a form suddenly appeared. It looked like a man, about ten feet tall, with outstretched wings extending at least 10 feet on each side. This being was a mighty angel, fully clad in heavenly armor, glowing, glistening, reflecting, and radiating light in all directions. As the light from him hit the faces of the people in the audience, I saw fear and shock on each and every face. The mighty angel held a giant sword in his right hand, pointing it straight upwards towards the top of the tent. Then he spoke with a loud, booming voice, declaring: "WITH THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF JESUS THE CHRIST - I TELL YOU NOW - THE SHOW HAS BEGUN!!!!" Then, just as suddenly, he was gone, and all was dark again. The vision ended.
VISION: Today while in prayer, I heard the Lord speak these words to me, "The show has begun." I was then given a vision where I found myself standing beside a huge circus tent. As I started walking towards the open doorway, I heard a carnival barker who was shouting loudly through a megaphone. He was standing beside the tent and shouting out, "Ladies and Gentlemen! Come one! Come all! Get your seats now to the greatest show on earth!" I then found myself standing inside the giant tent. As the last few people entered in, I looked around and noticed that there wasn't an empty seat in the house. All the seats were now filled. I looked towards the center of the tent and observed three rings - a large ring in the center with two smaller rings on each side. In the small ring on the left side, there were a dozen or so clowns all jumping, dancing, and hopping around, doing silly things and keeping the crowd amused and laughing. In the small ring on the right side, there were animal acts - a bear riding a red bicycle around in circles, a large leopard-type cat jumping on various sized crates, and a large, colorful parrot who was squawking out all manner of vulgarities and curse words. In the large, main center ring was a man who appeared to be a ring master, dressed in a very nice tuxedo with a top hat on his head. I observed this man walk over to a very ornate desk in the center of the ring and take a seat behind the desk. He then pulled a book out of his jacket and began to read it out loud to the crowd. On the desk was a computer with three monitors arranged in a semi-circle around the computer. The ring master seemed to get very upset while reading the book, and he then started angrily ripping pages out of it and setting them on fire. With that, the clowns noticed the fire and came running over to put out the fire with a water hose. But instead of water coming out of the hose, gasoline came pouring out, and the fire grew worse. Then the bear from the ring on the right quickly ran over and knocked the book out of the ring master's hand. The book hit the floor, landing with the cover facing up so I could see the title that was written on it. The title of the book was The Constitution of the United States of America. All of the people in the audience clapped, laughed, and cheered, thinking it was all part of the show. My attention was then drawn to the monitors that were on the desk. I noticed one monitor showing scenes of war. Another one displaying bombs exploding and fires burning. And on the third one, there were people running for their lives from all the destruction that was happening. The ring master got up from the chair very slowly and grabbed one of the baseball bats that had been left by one of the clowns. He then struck each monitor with the bat, destroying them one by one. All three rings were full of activity, keeping all of the people mesmerized. Things were happening so fast that nobody knew what was coming next. THEN THE WHOLE TENT WENT COMPLETELY BLACK. Suddenly, a blinding light exploded through the darkness from above, filling the whole tent with a solid beam of light coming down from the center top of the tent. The beam of light hit the floor, and a form suddenly appeared. It looked like a man, about ten feet tall, with outstretched wings extending at least 10 feet on each side. This being was a mighty angel, fully clad in heavenly armor, glowing, glistening, reflecting, and radiating light in all directions. As the light from him hit the faces of the people in the audience, I saw fear and shock on each and every face. The mighty angel held a giant sword in his right hand, pointing it straight upwards towards the top of the tent. Then he spoke with a loud, booming voice, declaring: "WITH THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF JESUS THE CHRIST - I TELL YOU NOW - THE SHOW HAS BEGUN!!!!" Then, just as suddenly, he was gone, and all was dark again. The vision ended.

It occurred to me that this date gives us a hard deadline. If we interpret the parable of the Fig tree to mean that all the things had to be fulfilled for the church age before Israel turns 81 then May 13, 2029 is a hard deadline.
Israel returns to the good land in 1948. They will turn 81 on May 14, 2029. Based on Psalm 91 it is one plausible interpretation to say that the midpoint of the seven year tribulation when they flee into the wilderness would have to be before that date. If we go back 1,260 days from May 13, 2029 we come to November 30th.
If we go forward 2,520 days from November 30th we come to October 24, 2032. Supposedly that is one month after the Feast of Trumpets. However, consider this, suppose Israel sees the two witnesses raised from the dead and then celebrates 2nd Passover, having missed the first Passover because they were defiled by a dead religion. Nisan became the first month for them when they celebrated the first Passover perhaps this celebration would adjust the calendar for them a second time. If you make May 13, 2029 the "first month" for them then October 24, 2032 would be the 8th day of the Feast of Tabernacles.
Also, this would mean that "Black Friday" would become the first day of three days of darkness. It would also mean that all the Christmas songs that begin right after Thanksgiving would be turned to mourning as for an only son. If you are going to bring judgment on the Great Babylon the one day of the year that would be a holiday fully belonging to the Great Babylon would be "Black Friday". Yes there are pagan elements in both Christmas and Easter, but those holidays are 50/50. There is absolutely nothing that ties Black Friday to anything but the Great Babylon.

There are many servants of the Lord, but this depicts someone who has never born a burden prior to this. Jesus is going to ride into Jerusalem on a foal. In other words a lot of these ones who have started a ministry, or started a youtube channel concerning the rapture. They didn't have a ministry prior to this, they are like foals, a colt on which no one has sat on prior to this. Now there is a fine line between being submissive to the Lord and to being rebellious against man. Up until this point the ministry moved through the churches and worked together with the churches. There was leadership. However, these ones are not Pastors in a church with a board of directors telling them what to say and what not to say. Also they are "loosed". When the pandemic hit it gave me an extra two hours a day since I didn't have to commute, and in fact it was even easier than that, so it really gave me three hours a day. I was loosed to start this blog. I suspect that was the case with many others who never had a ministry prior to this. Not only so but when the pandemic was over I was forced to resign my job because of the vaccine mandate. Being retired was also the Lord "Loosing me".
4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
The next feast to be fulfilled after the four that were fulfilled in the Lord's first coming is the Feast of Trumpets. This announces the coming of the king. It is celebrated by blowing the horn 100 times. I see this blog as blowing the horn 100 times announcing the coming of the Lord. The Lord's second coming needs and requires many to blow the trumpet to announce His coming and that is what we have seen recently.
6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
Your clothes represent your righteousnesses, the things that you are doing to serve the Lord, they are a testimony of your worship and devotion to the Lord. This is what these videos are. Take the ones that are sharing people's dreams, they are taking everyone's testimonies and putting them on these videos. At one point half of my posts were links to what others were sharing. I have loaded many posts on this blog that are other's testimonies.
8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
The internet is full of a great many videos, a great many testimonies, a great many sermons, a great many prophecies and a great many Bible expositions. This is where we are ever since 2017 and the Revelation 12 sign.
9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
Not only so but look at what has happened to the worship. We have seen many stadiums filled to capacity singing in worship to the Lord Jesus.
10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
Everyone has noticed what is going on, including Presidents and Prime Ministers. The Jews in Israel learned that their only friends are evangelical Christians. When they were attacked by Hamas that was the only group that stuck with them through thick and thin.
11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

Consider the crimes of the government with:
Epstein Island & Diddy Parties -- This was a honey pot set up by the intelligence agencies (CIA, Mossad, etc) in order to blackmail and coerce rich and powerful people.
AI and the beast system rising -- The government has funded this since 911 and they know that there will be massive layoffs and job disruptions just as we are seeing in China. Instead of preparing people to make the transition they have been preparing for massive riots and looting.
Communists starting an insurrection in the US -- Riots in Portland, Minnesota, NYC, and other places as well as Mamdani being elected mayor of NYC, AOC, Ilhan Omar, etc.
the Arctic Frost investigation -- this is ten times worse than Watergate.
the vaccine mandate -- this was criminal and done to the whole world.

January 6th hearings -- this was a false flag event that is falling apart and exposing all those involved
It is easy to look at this word as applying to the church, but Jesus was saying this to the Jewish temple where the priesthood was an integral part of the power structure of Israel. Another scandal that is coming out is stock trading of congress and the senate trading on inside information. The US government has become a den of thieves. A great example of this is Social Security. It was sold as a way to help every American save for retirement. You take a portion of each paycheck and give it to a trust fund to invest it for you until you retire. However, instead of investing the money they pilfered it. There are no investments, the money you paid in is gone. The only way they continue paying out these benefits is they take money from the salaries of people who are working today and give it to those who are retired. They are a den of thieves, you gave your retirement money to thieves to watch for you.
The biggest example of this of course is the US dollar. In 1970 it was tied to gold meaning you could exchange a dollar for a certain amount of gold. They went off the gold standard in 1970. At that time gold was $40 an ounce. Today it is $4,000 an ounce. This means the money has lost 99% of its value. Inflation is a form of robbery, they can go into your bank account and take 2% from everyone every year. As bad as this is the US dollar is still the best compared to other currencies. That tells you how truly horrific every other nation is. In just the last year the US dollar lost 50% of its value relative to gold. The Lord is in the process of flipping the tables of the money changers. Banks are going to go belly up, the US dollar will become worthless.

But year by year more and more can see what I see. In Christianity there are those that think we cannot speak about the rapture, or the Antichrist, or the prophecies, or the Day of the Lord. When I started this blog it was like the third rail on the subway, a topic you just don't touch. That is to be "lame". But more and more everyone is talking about this topic now. There have been at least two different days when I had around 20,000 new visitors to my blog in a single day.
15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased, 16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
I have also seen this, religious leaders in Christianity who are sore displeased with these youtube channels. They accuse these people of being false prophets. Dana Coverstone has channels dedicated to calling him a false prophet. Vicki Goforth Parnell is also under continuous slander and attacks. Many of these channels are run by babes and sucklings in the Lord. Brand new believers, that is awesome.
17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

But with Biden there was no more sitting on that wall, his administration was fully on the side of pagans, heathens and unbelievers. Jesus left that city for those four years and was in both the house of obedience on one hand and the house of affliction on the other. Ask yourself what is the primary adjective you would use to describe your walk with the Lord, you have two choices, obedience or suffering.
18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
January of 2025 Trump is inaugurated and what is the first thing he does? He uses DOGE to examine the budget and is cutting and slashing budgets. Following this the Democrats unite to not pass a continuing resolution to fund the government when it runs out of money. As a result we are seeing the withering away accelerate as we are now on an austerity budget.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
Mamdani was just elected mayor in NYC saying he would make many services free. Unfortunately for him I suspect the fig tree is bare, there is nothing to eat and his budget is going to go crashing down as people and businesses flee that city. In Portland a skyscraper sold for $45 million, it had been purchased a few years earlier for $330 million. Because of this they are estimating that property taxes will drop by 68% this year, accounting for about a third of Portland's budget and to make things worse they'll have to pay refunds to people for their property tax the previous year. All in all Portland is going to see about a 50% decrease in their city budget. Meanwhile people are fleeing the city along with businesses, and so nothing will get better any time soon.
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

The authority by which we minister to the Lord
Matthew 21:23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
This is an important question, if you have a ministry you need to be clear by what authority you are doing these things.
24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? 26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. 27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

Think about Social Security, this parable could easily be about social security. We give the government money out of every paycheck to invest and then when we retire we come to them for that money. This is a trust fund, it isn't welfare, it isn't public assistance. But they keep trying to include the discussion of Social Security with the discussion on entitlements, a nice word for welfare.
37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
But now consider the US dollar. Already the UK is introducing a digital currency where you can't buy or sell in that country without it. A few years ago they created this international test to test students in schools worldwide and compare education across the globe. The nation that came in first place had a whole bunch of international press assembled to ask the politicians what they had done. The politicians were caught completely off guard because they hadn't done anything, they had simply left the education of students up to the teachers. But the US doesn't do that, no politicians always run on a platform of improving education. They don't know anything about education other than schools and police are the two biggest budget items and the best way to get people donating to your campaign is to promise to give them a nice slice of one of those two pies. So we have seen the very same routine. Politicians claims he will improve education, gets elected, increases budget for education, the money goes to his donors to sell something to the schools, and education gets worse. As a result in the next election the politicians claim they will improve education, get elected, increase the budget, etc.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
Preterist argue that this was fulfilled in 70 AD? Yes, Jerusalem was destroyed and those murderers were killed and the city of Jerusalem was burned. But that was what caused the gospel to go to the four corners of the earth. We have been inviting people to the wedding for two thousand years and warning of the coming judgment. We point to what happened to Jerusalem as proof that the Lord meant precisely what He said.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. 9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. 10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
You can believe that this parable refers to the destruction of Jerusalem. That is fine. But the wedding had not taken place yet and evangelizing the entire earth took two thousand years. There is no way to reconcile the Preterism doctrine with this parable.

The outer darkness coincides with the rapture. You can liken it to Jesus being in the grave for three days and taking a tour of Tartarus. The weeping and gnashing of teeth is the response of Christians who realize they have been left behind. They were duped by these two failed doctrines of "Preterism" and "Once Saved Always Saved".

Here in Matthew we learn they are laying snares on the ground to try and catch Christians.
16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men. 17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
Look at the hypocrisy of this. If they are "Herodians" then clearly they promote giving tribute to Caesar. King Herod was a puppet of Caesar. Look how easy it is to spot these ones, they will belong to churches that are very influential in the local politics of a city. In the movie "Spotlight" about the pedophile priests in Boston being exposed, you learn how influential the Catholic church was in the politics of Boston. If a Bishop of a church is a crucial figure in the politics of that city, then know this, those are "Herodians".
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
Pray for discernment. It is like an animal having the sense of smell. Animals that eat meat have a distinctive smell, so the sheep might not see the wolf, but they can smell him. In the same way you will get a strong warning from the Holy Spirit before you actually see or understand the threat. Second, focus on the hypocrisy. They are asking you a yes or no question where answering either way is a trap.
19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
He doesn't run from the question, rather He focuses in on it like a Big League baseball hitter. You are asking me if it is right to give this penny to Caesar or not? OK. Show me the penny, let's examine it. Notice how they bring Him the penny. The way the IRS works is you only have to pay taxes if you have money, if you don't have any, you don't owe them any.
20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
This one question exposes the hypocrisy of both sides of this debate. Those who are arguing not to give tribute, and those who are arguing to give tribute. The money belongs to caesar. This is what Ghandi did, he simply stopped using anything that belonged to Britain. That is why he taught people to make their own clothes and collect their own salt.

This one question exposes the hypocrisy of both sides of this debate. Those who are arguing not to give tribute, and those who are arguing to give tribute. The money belongs to caesar. This is what Ghandi did, he simply stopped using anything that belonged to Britain. That is why he taught people to make their own clothes and collect their own salt.

Once again this totally exposes both the Preterists and the OSAS. In both cases those doctrines are encouraging people to ignore what belongs to God, to say you don't need to render anything to God, and that it is perfectly OK to be fully in the world working for Caesar. But this word goes beyond them, there is a third doctrine, Dominion Theology, which says we are supposed to be part of this world, politically active. Turning Point USA, the ministry that Charlie Kirk started, is a very powerful political ministry. But that is a snare to get entangled with politics.

What powers any Christian ministry?

Imagine you have someone who grew up in the church, but it was dead religion, they went to another church and another, but every time they were dead religions. They think they have a lot of experience with Christianity, and they have a little knowledge of the scriptures, and so from their experience they have seen nothing but dead religion and from their own intellect they think they have found a fatal flaw.

Yes, they know dead religion, but they don't know the scriptures nor the power of God. We have 8 billion people on earth, that means on a yearly basis there are at least 10 million deaths. Just because you have been surrounded by death your whole life does not mean you understand life.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
Error number one is assuming that you will be married to the same person for eternity. The marriage vow says clearly "till death do us part". This age is about finding a bride for Jesus Christ, why would you assume that you would be married to your spouse for eternity? If you are a born again believer your destiny is to become the Bride of Christ. That assumption is proof of how ignorant they are of the scriptures.

Who is examining who?
Matthew 22:34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. 35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
This word translated as "tempting" can be translated "examined". Jesus is the Passover lamb and they are examining Him for blemishes. If he was entangled with politics that would be a blemish, if he subscribed to "OSAS", "Preterism" or "Dominion theology" that would be a blemish. If He did not believe in the resurrection that would be a blemish. This question seems obvious to us now, if you divide the ten commandments in half, one half deals with loving God and the other half deals with loving man. However, if you view religion as an organization, well then for many years you had to be baptized into a particular denomination before you could partake in the Lord's table of that particular denomination. Each denomination had a pet doctrine you had to subscribe to. So for years this was not an obvious question to most Christians.
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment.
So then what does this mean? If twenty years ago I prayed a prayer to receive Jesus into my heart and since then have gone about my business, is that loving the Lord with all my heart, and all my soul and all my mind? Do you think someone dressing up on Sunday to go to a football game, spending most of the day at a barbecue and wearing the Jersey and then screaming and cheering in the stadium, is that what this means? Clearly they are involved in idolatry and they are loving their idols with all their strength, not God.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
How is this like unto the first? If you can make idols out of humans and you can love and worship them instead of God, then it is very much like the first commandment. I can love my neighbor as myself because they are in the image and likeness of God. I don't watch professional sports. I learned about Joe Montana by reading about him, I learned about Larry Bird and Michael Jordan by reading about them. Likewise with Tom Brady. I read about these guys because they are in the image and likeness of God. None of us is complete, if you want to find fault with any of these men it is easy to do so, but at the same time they can express certain qualities of God. Also, this applies to all men, not just the ones the world wants to make into idols. The ones I have seen God expressed in are those that the world for the most part has written off. The world writes them off because they worship idols and their is nothing of idolatry in these ones, but God is expressed in them because they love the Lord with their whole heart.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
The prophets are telling people "don't go down this road it leads to destruction". If you heed them, take the next exit and turn around then you don't get destroyed. This is what Nineveh did when they listened to Jonah and repented. That is what it means to love your neighbor as yourself. Ask yourself this, think of a time in your life when you made a big mistake. Would you have wanted someone to come to you before hand and say "don't do this, if you do this it will be a big mistake and this is where you will end up"? I know I would. The prophets are also telling people "do this and you will be blessed of God". Sometimes we need a push to do the right thing, they are directing you to love God with your whole heart.
This is why "love covers a multitude of sins". Love doesn't mean you compromise with sin, it means you see it and respond to it to try and help save someone from their sin.
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.
This is the entire purpose of this examination, is Jesus the Christ, yes or no? In the Bible "whose son is He" is not simply a question of biology or DNA. It means who does He express, whose image and likeness does He bear? King Saul said "whose son is David" when he knew perfectly well that Jesse was his father. The question was "who trained this kid to be a warrior"?
43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, 44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
So if David is the father how is he saying that the Christ is his Lord, that He was the one who trained David to defeat his enemies? This is like the kind of conundrum you get when you consider those movies about time travel.
45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
David learned from his Lord how to be this great warrior, but the Lord he learned from was actually Jesus who had not come in the flesh yet! He got the revelation of the Jesus who was to come and that is who he expressed. In other words, David saw that Jesus was the Christ a thousand years before Jesus came, and yet these Pharisees can't even see it today with Jesus right in front of them. They thought they were examining Him when in reality He was examining them. Jesus is the stone that the builders rejected which God made the head of the corner. That means that God rejected the builders.
46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

In that point we are in agreement with OSAS and yes, many prophecies of God's judgment can apply to 70 AD so in that one point we do agree with Preterism.
What we see is that with every one of these false doctrines it does begin with the word of God as a kernel of truth. It is as though they have gone into a bioweapons lab and mixed the DNA of the truth with the DNA of a falsehood.
Dominion theology wants to have a theocracy, that is basically a mixture of Christianity with Judaism and Islam.
OSAS is a mixture between capitalism and Christianity, sure you have been justified by faith, but no reason to leave the rat race.
Preterism is a mixture of Christianity and fantasy. Sure you are a Christian, but let's not talk about the prophecies and the Lord's second coming, instead let's all pretend that has already happened.
The Lord spoke all these attempts to examine Him or "tempt" Him into being. We see the apostasy, those who leave the word of God, throughout the scriptures. The word of authority
Matthew 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
Then is a very significant word here, it specifically refers to after the examination by the scribes and Pharisees. It is an important concept here, they sit in Moses' seat means they are sitting in a position of authority that God established. The New Testament is very clear, we are not to speak evil of the rulers and authorities because all authority comes from God. The person in that seat is a sinner, but we are to recognize the authority of that seat as having come from God.
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
Don't imitate them. They will tell you to observe certain rules and regulations established by God, so you do that and observe that. But they are hypocrites, don't learn to be hypocrites simply because they are.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
This is the key point. Even if they aren't corrupt, even if they aren't Satanists, they do bind these heavy burdens on people. All of the rules about the sabbath are one example. But to use something more recent, the leaders do something called projection. This means they accuse you of the crimes they are committing. Think of Pharaoh accusing the people of being lazy but not providing them with straw. The issue was not laziness, the issue was that Pharaoh was intimidated by a possible populist uprising and he was trying to keep the people subservient. Think of public school education, the leaders always claim their campaign will improve the school but instead the schools always get worse. They use the bad education as a way to squeeze more money out of the people while at the same time making the schools worse so that the kids would not be smart enough to figure out they are being played. The leaders treat the people as beasts of burden and do everything to maintain that dynamic.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
Everything they do is for show, it is a commercial saying "vote for him". They are crafting a public image of a devout leader, a teacher. A man that everyone loves and wants to have fellowship with. You know what is interesting, when Larry Bird was playing no one called him "the next Pistol Pete Maravich", when Magic Johnson was playing no one called him the next Oscar Robinson and when Michael Jordan was playing no one called him the next Dr. J or Jerry West. But ever since he retired they have continuously said "this is the next Michael Jordan". Reggie Miller was called that, Grant Hill was called that, Kobe Bryant was called that, Anthony Edwards was called that, etc. This is "central casting" of the NBA marketing. In Politics it is the same thing with the "next Ronald Reagan" or some other key person. In the Jewish leadership they were always fashioning themselves after Moses. To sit in "Moses' seat" is to be "the next Moses".
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
Obviously we have teachers, we have pastors, we have overseers, and elders. The point that the Lord is making is don't create a hierarchy. Paul emphasizes this point in 1 Corinthians 14 about the meetings, he says whenever you come together each one has. What has crippled the church is the clergy laity system where too many in the congregation are spectators. Many interpret the term Nicolaitans to be a reference to the clergy laity system and Jesus said He hates that system.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
The Catholics do this, and even the word Pope means Papa. Think how bizarre that is. Suppose a man is voted in to be Pope this year. You have been saved for fifty years, you have had a walk with the Lord for all that time but now you are to call this man you never knew prior to this "Papa"? A father is someone who has been in your life and guided you since you were crawling on all fours.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
The term lord is very similar to the term master. Lord indicates the person who owns the farm and master is the person who is supervising the farm. This is a major revelation and we need to see it and it has been ingrained into us from as long as we can remember. When I was first saved I was corrected and adjusted frequently by those who were my elders in the church. But then at some point I began to have a ministry and that was when they wanted to control that. I was accused publicly of being off and wrong. But unlike every time before there was no correction. If I was off in what was I off? What needed to be corrected? That was kept secret. I went home, got on my knees and prayed about this and that was when I got the word from Galatians that Paul did not give place to them for even five minutes. So I called their bluff, I kept on keeping on and completely ignored them. You see although they had publicly called me out they hadn't actually used my name nor had they actually accused me directly of anything. If they had done that they could be guilty of slander and be sued. It was all insinuation. Everyone knew who they were talking about, but my attitude was "until you actually call me out by name and tell me what it is I am doing wrong I will continue to listen to the Lord and follow Him". Your brothers and sisters are not your master, they are not your lord, and they are not your father. Yes, they may have fellowship from the Lord that corrects you and even rebukes you. But then they may also have fellowship that is trying to control you and make you subservient to them. Jesus is Lord. You take every thing to Him. They may say something incredibly offensive, you go to the Lord and the Lord may say "what they said is right, you do have this fault". So, amen, receive that word as from the Lord. Another time the Lord may say "don't give place to them for even five minutes" and again you say Amen.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Authority comes from a care and concern for you. I listened to the rebukes and corrections because I knew they were telling me this for my own good. I ignored their attempts to control my ministry because I knew they were telling me this for their own good. If no one respects your authority it is because no one believes you actually care for anyone but yourself. Pray for others, seek a word for others and you will discover that people now respect what you have to say.

The person in that seat is a sinner, but we are to recognize the authority of that seat as having come from God.
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
Don't imitate them. They will tell you to observe certain rules and regulations established by God, so you do that and observe that. But they are hypocrites, don't learn to be hypocrites simply because they are.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
This is the key point. Even if they aren't corrupt, even if they aren't Satanists, they do bind these heavy burdens on people. All of the rules about the sabbath are one example. But to use something more recent, the leaders do something called projection. This means they accuse you of the crimes they are committing. Think of Pharaoh accusing the people of being lazy but not providing them with straw. The issue was not laziness, the issue was that Pharaoh was intimidated by a possible populist uprising and he was trying to keep the people subservient. Think of public school education, the leaders always claim their campaign will improve the school but instead the schools always get worse. They use the bad education as a way to squeeze more money out of the people while at the same time making the schools worse so that the kids would not be smart enough to figure out they are being played. The leaders treat the people as beasts of burden and do everything to maintain that dynamic.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
Everything they do is for show, it is a commercial saying "vote for him". They are crafting a public image of a devout leader, a teacher. A man that everyone loves and wants to have fellowship with. You know what is interesting, when Larry Bird was playing no one called him "the next Pistol Pete Maravich", when Magic Johnson was playing no one called him the next Oscar Robinson and when Michael Jordan was playing no one called him the next Dr. J or Jerry West. But ever since he retired they have continuously said "this is the next Michael Jordan". Reggie Miller was called that, Grant Hill was called that, Kobe Bryant was called that, Anthony Edwards was called that, etc. This is "central casting" of the NBA marketing. In Politics it is the same thing with the "next Ronald Reagan" or some other key person. In the Jewish leadership they were always fashioning themselves after Moses. To sit in "Moses' seat" is to be "the next Moses".
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
Obviously we have teachers, we have pastors, we have overseers, and elders. The point that the Lord is making is don't create a hierarchy. Paul emphasizes this point in 1 Corinthians 14 about the meetings, he says whenever you come together each one has. What has crippled the church is the clergy laity system where too many in the congregation are spectators. Many interpret the term Nicolaitans to be a reference to the clergy laity system and Jesus said He hates that system.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
The Catholics do this, and even the word Pope means Papa. Think how bizarre that is. Suppose a man is voted in to be Pope this year. You have been saved for fifty years, you have had a walk with the Lord for all that time but now you are to call this man you never knew prior to this "Papa"? A father is someone who has been in your life and guided you since you were crawling on all fours.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
The term lord is very similar to the term master. Lord indicates the person who owns the farm and master is the person who is supervising the farm. This is a major revelation and we need to see it and it has been ingrained into us from as long as we can remember. When I was first saved I was corrected and adjusted frequently by those who were my elders in the church. But then at some point I began to have a ministry and that was when they wanted to control that. I was accused publicly of being off and wrong. But unlike every time before there was no correction. If I was off in what was I off? What needed to be corrected? That was kept secret. I went home, got on my knees and prayed about this and that was when I got the word from Galatians that Paul did not give place to them for even five minutes. So I called their bluff, I kept on keeping on and completely ignored them. You see although they had publicly called me out they hadn't actually used my name nor had they actually accused me directly of anything. If they had done that they could be guilty of slander and be sued. It was all insinuation. Everyone knew who they were talking about, but my attitude was "until you actually call me out by name and tell me what it is I am doing wrong I will continue to listen to the Lord and follow Him". Your brothers and sisters are not your master, they are not your lord, and they are not your father. Yes, they may have fellowship from the Lord that corrects you and even rebukes you. But then they may also have fellowship that is trying to control you and make you subservient to them. Jesus is Lord. You take every thing to Him. They may say something incredibly offensive, you go to the Lord and the Lord may say "what they said is right, you do have this fault". So, amen, receive that word as from the Lord. Another time the Lord may say "don't give place to them for even five minutes" and again you say Amen.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Authority comes from a care and concern for you. I listened to the rebukes and corrections because I knew they were telling me this for my own good. I ignored their attempts to control my ministry because I knew they were telling me this for their own good. If no one respects your authority it is because no one believes you actually care for anyone but yourself. Pray for others, seek a word for others and you will discover that people now respect what you have to say.
Take a look at those who shut up the kingdom of heaven against men
Matthew 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

The same thing with Saul of Tarsus, he thought he was a leader of the blind only to discover that he was the one who was blind. He had scales on his eyes. He also got knocked down from Saul to Paul (which means small) and became less than the least of all saints. These ones who have set themselves in Moses' seat are an example self exaltation.
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
We have seen this repeatedly in the last few years. Think of how you weren't allowed to question the vaccine. The most recent example is with Charlie Kirk's assassination. When someone who is running the most powerful political ministry is assassinated then it is reasonable to want to fully investigate this. When everyone in power from the President to all of his cabinet members claim that they would not have been elected had it not been for Charlie's ministry, then you want to fully investigate this. When they tell you that one loan, crazed kid did this, well that may be true, but it is the least likely explanation. My concern is that the purpose of the assassination was to gain control of TPUSA because of how powerful and influential it is to those who are in power. If it turns out that it really was just one lone nut job, fine. But there are a lot of unanswered questions. For example, why did the Mother, Father and sister refuse to come to the memorial? Fortunately the mother and sister have answered that question, the reason is they don't trust Erika, Charlie's wife and the new CEO of TPUSA. They see her as manipulative and have thought that she was a plant. Her parents are both very high up in the military industrial complex, she herself was already a millionaire with several other operations that she was running which some feel were covers for the Deep State. She even knew Donald Trump before meeting Charlie, as she had been in the Miss USA pageant that he ran. But it is worse, it turns out that several long time donors have also chosen to freeze donations to TPUSA because the audit Charlie had ordered has been cancelled by Erika. Charlie knew that you have to be faithful to the cross of Christ. These ones think that you have to be faithful to the money that is donated. If you don't obey what your donors want then you are guilty. Since Charlie was refusing to be obedient to the donors he was guilty and so they justify the assassination.
19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
Think of how foolish and blind this is. Suppose they donated $1 million. Did the $1 million cause TPUSA to be so influential? If so let's see you do it again with another million. It should be much easier the second time around. But the reality is they can pay $100 million and won't get the same impact or result.
20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon. 21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. 22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
