The girdle was part of the priestly garments. According to Paul we are gird about with the truth. So think about the priesthood in Israel and the Sanhedrin. 2,000 years ago they rejected Jesus Christ as the Messiah. Now 2,000 years later they are appealing to heaven to reveal the Messiah.

In order to do that you would have to have genealogical records that confirm the person is the son of David.

In addition they would have to have been born in Bethlehem.

After having been born he would have had to flee to Egypt and then later returned to Israel.

But the most interesting one is in Isaiah 53. He must be rejected, esteemed not, and crucified.

So anyone the Sanhedrin now claims "is the Messiah" is not rejected, on the contrary he is esteemed. Nor can any current candidates claim to have been crucified.

In other words after having been hid for two thousand years the "truth" that the current Sanhedrin tries to gird themselves with has been marred and profitable for nothing.

The Apostasy

Jeremiah 13:9 Thus saith the Lord, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.

10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.

11 For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saith the Lord; that they might be unto me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.

During the tribulation the Bible says judgment begins with the house of God. You don't want to be someone who dared to speak against the Lord, against His prophets or His servants as though you were speaking on behalf of the Lord. You will be judged first and it will be severe.

What happens during the tribulation to those who claim to be Christians but walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto the Lord?

Jeremiah 16:3 For thus saith the Lord concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land;

4 They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

5 For thus saith the Lord, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the Lord, even lovingkindness and mercies.

6 Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:

7 Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.

The Feast of Trumpets is the day the gates are opened. In the parable of the ten virgins we have a midnight cry, and we later learn the gate has closed. Since the Feast of Trumpets begins with shouting at night, when the new moon is sighted, perhaps the midnight cry refers to the Feast of trumpets, the day the gate is opened and then when the foolish virgins return that is the day that the gates close.

Does the gate open at the great sign? And then close at the 2026 Feast of Trumpets?

Because, while the ten years have passed, those with lighted lamps have been waiting. And now that the duress has arrived, then those with unlighted lamps come to be taken with the faithful.

The dividing line is that some have waited faithfully, and some have not but want the rewards at the end with those who have waited.

Thus, now that we see the oil running out, they come to the Savior. When in fact they should have been faithful and waiting all along the journey.

They are out of oil. literally. And so now they turn to Christ. They who come late to the wedding are not allowed in.

What I know is that according to Rabbinic teaching, not according to the books of Moses, the gates open on the Feast of Trumpets. This begins a ten day period where you can repent leading up to the Day of Atonement where the judgement takes place. According to Rabbinic teaching which those hearing the parable of the ten virgins would have been familiar with the gates open on the Feast of Trumpets and close at sundown on the ninth day of Tishrei.

Parables can have multiple meanings, so I can see saying the oil is "the oil in the world's economy". But you can't build a doctrine based on a parable because of how easy it would be to have it say anything. You would want it to be based on the black and white word of the Bible. For example, I could argue based on the book of Genesis and based on the book of Revelation that there will be a seven year famine (Pharaoh's dream and one of the horses of the apocalypse). So if you are looking at that it is reasonable to suggest that the oil of the world's economy is in short supply at the start of the seven year tribulation.

It is also possible to say that the foolish virgins might have been like the seeds sown among the weeds which choked them with the cares of this life, hence they were unfruitful. They need to repent of this during the tribulation.

I believe that every word of God is good for instruction to the man of God. So then how do I reconcile not being a seventh day Adventists with words like this in the Bible? The ten commandments have not been done away with. Instead I believe that the fulfillment of this command is Paul's word "I have been crucified with Christ". We abide in the death of Christ. Our old man must remain dead and buried in the tomb. The Bible says Jesus was in the tomb for three days. However, it also tells us He entered the tomb prior to sunset, so that would be the first day He was in the tomb and it was only for a short while before the second day began, and it also tells us He rose early in the morning on the third day, which is the Lord's day. So He was in the tomb for three days, but according to the record in the Bible it was not 72 hours. However, He was in the tomb for an entire 24 hours of the Sabbath day. Jesus Christ being dead, in the tomb, was the fulfillment of the sabbath day rest. The old creation must be put to death, all of our labor and work in the Lord must be in the new creation.

So then, how do we know if our old man has been put to death and we are now living and walking in the newness of life with Christ?

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death
Do I love people how I want to be loved and how I love myself? In other words, do I treat everyone the way I want to be treated?

For example, Charlie Kirk was a brother. He was assassinated while ministering. How would I want people to behave if I was assassinated. At the time that Charlie was assassinated there were a lot of evil and hateful things said about him on the internet. I was only aware of his ministry peripherally. I had heard him speak a few times, but did not know enough to know whether or not the hateful things were true. So I examined them. I went to the links. They accused Charlie of saying things, I wanted to hear him say those things. When I did that I learned the hateful, despicable things they were saying were an evil twisting of the words. When it came out of their mouths you thought "that is terrible" but when you listened to what Charlie said you thought "yeah, I agree with that". I would hope that if people had said horrible, hateful things about me that they wouldn't just take the word of slanderers at face value but instead would check out what I actually said. So I went to the Memorial service. The very first thing that shocked me the most were all the politicians. I thought this was going to be primarily a Christian memorial. But the worship part of the memorial seemed to stop once the actual Memorial began and was taken over by one politician after another speaking. It was clear that some of these politicians were not Christian, talking about seeing Charlie in Valhalla. They were all respectful, deferential and it also became clear how important Charlie's ministry had been to Donald Trump's election. That was something I didn't know until I went to the Memorial. The other thing that shocked me was not who was there and had a prominent place during the Memorial but even more who wasn't there. Charlie's parents and family weren't there! Later I learned that other very close friends of his were not invited, Candace Owens being the most prominent of those. But for his mother and father and sister to not be there, that to me was shocking.

My overall feeling leaving the Memorial was that "something is very wrong here". I didn't know anything, but I just had a very bad feeling. Anyway I have been interested in the investigation into what happened. That is where the "feeling" that something was not right became a horrible experience. Like replacing a piece of drywall in your house only to discover thousands of rats living in between the walls. Who could imagine the hatred and vile rhetoric being spewed at people asking reasonable questions about the case, especially about violations of the law that would constitute tampering with the evidence and obstruction of justice?

Some years ago I learned the true story about JFK's assassination. It has all come out now. A pure evil rampage of wickedness. So when the coverup began to take place surrounding Charlie Kirk's murder I realized we were on the same path. And it will all come out. But not before the tribulation and return of the Savior. So the wicked demons have us at a disadvantage. But in the end they will be held accountable for what they have done. Just as most of the wicked demons who killed JFK are now in hell where they belong.

I also saw Charlie Kirk from time to time in the news and so forth. But when I heard he was killed it was a weight upon my heart. Score one for the followers of Lucifer, but the war is not over. And the Savior has a little payback planned for them (Rev. 6:10, Rev. 18:20, Rev. 19:2). It is not far away now.

Charlie Kirk was the real deal. He was true to the Savior and Lucifer killed him. But L will not be so fortunate as we move forward. And his kind are coming to an end (Rev. 20:1-3). I am looking forward to the day.

No gate will close until the first coming of the Lord.
After that, people still have an oppertunity to appeal to God and be saved with not taking the mark, but the only way to 'close' any gate to Gods mercy is to refuse Him utterly until the first death.

Also, all the oil is the soul's 'agreement' with the Holy Spirit. An example of haing little oil is haearing about the faith of Christ, yet refusing to edify and train yourself in Him when you have the oppertunity. That what makes faith feeble and a man in danger of falling away.

Those who turn to Christ and truly Seek Him will find that oil. Those who are denied entry have waited so long to actually seek the Lord that they missed the obvious warnings and became apostate.

Who are we as servants of the lord to bite and devour who the Father has honored? Who loves their life in this world so much that they would rather reproach a fellow than happily edify them?

The time is very close. If you are familiar with the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25, there are seven references in that parable to the Feast of Trumpets.

In Colossians chapter 2 Paul told us that the Feasts of the Lord are a shadow of things to come, they are prophetic. The first four feasts of the Lord were fulfilled at Passover, Resurrection, the Church age, and Jesus' ascension. The Last three feasts signify the day of shouting that the Lord is coming, the day of judgment, and the wedding feast.

I suspect that the midnight cry is going to be the one really big prophetic fulfillment that all Christians are waiting to see. Before the Jews begin to build a temple they will first dedicate the altar. They do this on the Feast of Trumpets and they could do this in a single day. They would go up onto the temple mount at 6AM and the priests would begin the oblations and then at 9am they would have the sacrifice. 6-9am in Jerusalem is at the "middle of the night" in the US. That will be the midnight cry that wakes up all the sleeping Christians.

Here are the seven references in that parable (and remember the context of this parable is Jesus answering the question of when will these things be)

1. Ten Virgins -- Feast of Trumpets takes place when the sun is in Virgo

2. Ten is very significant as well. In 2017 we had the Revelation 12 sign in the heavens, that was the first "virgin" and if you count, 2026 will be "the tenth" virgin. In the Revelation 12 sign Jupiter was in the womb for nine months and was born on September 23, 2017. This year Feast of Trumpets is 9/11, this means Jupiter is still 8 years old on this Feast of Trumpets. That is important because Jupiter represents the manchild and King Josiah was a type, he was raised to the throne while he was still 8 years old.

3. In the middle of the night a cry was made. Feast of Trumpets is the only Holy day of the Lord where there is a cry made as part of the ceremony in the middle of the night. The word translated "trumpets" is actually the word for shout. It is literally the day of shouting and the shouting begins in the middle of the night when the New Moon is spotted.

4. The bridegroom cometh -- that is the significance of the festival of the feast of trumpets. You are supposed to get ready for the coming of the king.

5. Go buy oil for yourselves from those that sell. The oil they had has run out, that indicates last years oil has run out. Think of all these pastors not wanting to talk about the events indicating the Lord is about to return. They are burning last years oil. Once that midnight cry goes up that the Jews have restarted oblations and sacrifices on the temple mount no one wants to hear last years oil. Feast of Trumpets is the first day that you can buy the new oil.

6. Those that were ready went in with Him and the door was shut. According to rebbinical teaching the door is opened on Feast of Trumpets and it is shut nine days later on the eve of Yom Kippur, the day of judgment.

7. Watch therefore for you know not the day or hour in which the Son of Man comes. That is a reference to the Feast of Trumpets, it is the "no one knows the day or hour" feast.

So your friends and family are about to be woken up, stay strong.

I would also point out one more correlation to September 11. In the book of Esther she gives the king two banquets, two sacrifices. The first one on one day, then Mordecai is glorified, then the second banquet the next day in which the evil Haman is revealed who had built a gallows on which to kill God's people.

Each one of us is supposed to be serving the Lord and when He speaks and sends us we are to do it. Last night I heard a report from a brother about the Gideon's ministry and I was hearing about all these people who are doing so much to get the word out and how much the ministry is doing. I went home and thought "wow, those brothers are doing so much". But then I was reminded of that Bill Belecheck quote "just do your job".

When I was a kid I was on a really good Pee Wee football team. Every week we watched the game film. We were undefeated so we were watching film from games we had won and you would never have known. The coach would highlight every person who was out of position, even if they made the tackle. You didn't get commended for making the play if you weren't doing your job, instead you got blasted. My fear every game is that I would be seen on the film "not doing my job". I realized it will be the same thing when we get raptured. The Lord is the captain, He has thousands, millions of soldiers, each one has an assignment. Everyone else is depending on you "just doing your job".

This is another example of being accountable for the things we hear.

1. It is simply a fact that when Israel returned from Babylon they dedicated the altar on the Feast of Trumpets. That is in the Bible. I am simply referencing the bible.

2. It is also a fact that in Colossians chapter 2 Paul said that the Holy Feast days of the Lord are "a shadow of things to come". They are prophetic, so it makes sense to examine them.

Is it true that God does not allow us to know the day of His coming?

Luke 19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, 42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. 43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

This sounds like a rebuke to me, but it isn't clear who is being rebuked. It was "hid from their eyes" so is this a case of having eyes and not seeing, or is this a case that the rabbis were guilty of hiding the day of Jesus from the people.

The book of Daniel gives us the year that Jesus will be cut off (Daniel 9:26) and according to John the Baptist Jesus is the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world telling them He is the Passover lamb (John 1:29). Those two things were enough to know the day and year that Jesus would be crucified. It should have been public knowledge.

But if you were a disciple of Jesus He told them specifically that they were going up to Jerusalem and He would be crucified (Matthew 20:17-19). Peter rebuked Jesus for saying this and in response Jesus rebuked Peter saying "Get behind me Satan".

Then Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Many people distort the word of God. Jesus says "no one knows the day or hour" and they change that to say "no one will ever know the day or hour". Jesus never said that and saying that is not Biblical. Consider the woman who broke the alabaster box on Jesus, she knew he was about to be crucified beforehand (Matthew 26:10-12).

Jesus makes it clear that it is shameful for Christians to be caught by surprise by the Lord's coming.

Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Who prompted Peter to rebuke Jesus when He said He would be crucified? Satan. Who complained about the woman breaking her alabaster box on Jesus? Judas. Who refuses to watch for the Lord's coming? Those who are surprised, not knowing what hour He is coming and so His coming to them is like a thief.

The time is very close. If you are familiar with the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25, there are seven references in that parable to the Feast of Trumpets.

In Colossians chapter 2 Paul told us that the Feasts of the Lord are a shadow of things to come, they are prophetic. The first four feasts of the Lord were fulfilled at Passover, Resurrection, the Church age, and Jesus' ascension. The Last three feasts signify the day of shouting that the Lord is coming, the day of judgment, and the wedding feast.

I suspect that the midnight cry is going to be the one really big prophetic fulfillment that all Christians are waiting to see. Before the Jews begin to build a temple they will first dedicate the altar. They do this on the Feast of Trumpets and they could do this in a single day. They would go up onto the temple mount at 6AM and the priests would begin the oblations and then at 9am they would have the sacrifice. 6-9am in Jerusalem is at the "middle of the night" in the US. That will be the midnight cry that wakes up all the sleeping Christians.

Here are the seven references in that parable (and remember the context of this parable is Jesus answering the question of when will these things be)

1. Ten Virgins -- Feast of Trumpets takes place when the sun is in Virgo

2. Ten is very significant as well. In 2017 we had the Revelation 12 sign in the heavens, that was the first "virgin" and if you count, 2026 will be "the tenth" virgin. In the Revelation 12 sign Jupiter was in the womb for nine months and was born on September 23, 2017. This year Feast of Trumpets is 9/11, this means Jupiter is still 8 years old on this Feast of Trumpets. That is important because Jupiter represents the manchild and King Josiah was a type, he was raised to the throne while he was still 8 years old.

3. In the middle of the night a cry was made. Feast of Trumpets is the only Holy day of the Lord where there is a cry made as part of the ceremony in the middle of the night. The word translated "trumpets" is actually the word for shout. It is literally the day of shouting and the shouting begins in the middle of the night when the New Moon is spotted.

4. The bridegroom cometh -- that is the significance of the festival of the feast of trumpets. You are supposed to get ready for the coming of the king.

5. Go buy oil for yourselves from those that sell. The oil they had has run out, that indicates last years oil has run out. Think of all these pastors not wanting to talk about the events indicating the Lord is about to return. They are burning last years oil. Once that midnight cry goes up that the Jews have restarted oblations and sacrifices on the temple mount no one wants to hear last years oil. Feast of Trumpets is the first day that you can buy the new oil.

6. Those that were ready went in with Him and the door was shut. According to rebbinical teaching the door is opened on Feast of Trumpets and it is shut nine days later on the eve of Yom Kippur, the day of judgment.

7. Watch therefore for you know not the day or hour in which the Son of Man comes. That is a reference to the Feast of Trumpets, it is the "no one knows the day or hour" feast.

So your friends and family are about to be woken up, stay strong.

I would also point out one more correlation to September 11. In the book of Esther she gives the king two banquets, two sacrifices. The first one on one day, then Mordecai is glorified, then the second banquet the next day in which the evil Haman is revealed who had built a gallows on which to kill God's people.

September 11th is Feast of Trumpets this year.

And it was such a world wide event. Everyone on the planet knew about it.

The coming Feast of Trumpets will be the shout heard around the world.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

I am in the Gideon ministry and this is one of our key verses. Our ministry focuses very much on getting the word of God into people's hands because we know that it shall accomplish what the Lord wants and it shall prosper in the thing that the Lord sends it to do.

Luke 8:4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: 5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

But this is what many don't understand. Being trodden under foot and devoured by the fowls of the air is one of the tings it was sent forth to do. The word of God saves, but it saves those who are saved. One aspect of salvation is to reveal the hearts of man for judgment. Some will trample the word of God underfoot, that will result in judgment.

6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

Some hearts are rocky. The word of God will reveal that your heart is rocky. Have you ever heard someone say "I don't have a green thumb"? How well their garden does reveals whether or not you have a green thumb. Likewise, how well the word of God grows in your heart reveals whether or not there are rocks and stones in your heart. It is a lot of work to remove those rocks, the word withering away revealed them. Now we'll see if you are going to remove them.

7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.

Imagine you go to a city and you see people living out on the streets in one neighborhood because of drugs and alcohol. These are those who have fallen by the wayside and are being trampled by Satan due to their addictions. Then you see a neighborhood where there used to be some big churches but they are all empty and withered. This a neighborhood that did receive the Lord, but refused to deal with the stones in their heart. Then you go to a "nice" neighborhood. People with jobs, two cars and a swimming pool. The yards are manicured, this is a neighborhood where things are growing, but when you examine them they are all thorns. Because the lies and cheating are so prevalent every plant is covered in thorns. There are Christians here and they attend church on Sunday, but they are for the most part nominal Christians. They claim to belong to Christ but there is no fruit. Now compare this with the word in Isaiah that the word of God is sent out to accomplish the thing that God sent it out to do. In these cases the word of God has been sent out to reveal your heart. Is your heart on the wayside? Is it stony? Is it choked with thorns?

8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Every single heart has experienced the wayside, and the stones and the thorns. Some people deal with it. I have seen some people who were excellent gardeners. But most people are not. You have to read and study and do a lot of prep work before you plant. Most will skip all that and go straight to planting. Here is the thing, there are 365 days that precede the harvest. If you do a little work every day, maybe only 30 minutes, well then you can have a wonderful harvest from your garden. You can read up and decide what to plant, you can prepare the soil accordingly, you can prepare irrigation accordingly, you can sterilize your soil, you can start your seeds early while it is still winter, in your house, meanwhile you can prepare the garden outside for everything to be transplanted and once the last frost has passed you can transplant. Then you can weed and water, and keep away the pests. When a garden brings forth a hundredfold it is a glory to both the seeds and the farmer. If everyone who planted brought forth a hundredfold it would not be so glorious, but because most don't, most seeds fall by the wayside, or wither in the sun, or are choked by the thorns, that is what makes that one garden that is bringing forth 100 fold so glorious.
