if people are not observing all things in the proper number and in the way prescribed for them, what exactly are they doing?.....

He's not? Why do you lie that he is to try to make a point? Is this some sorta cult who has ganged up on the man and hope enough people saying the same lies will make them true?

blah blah Tannar rant....

Did not the Lord of Sabbath work on the Sabbath? Would He had broken one of His commandments? Where is my rest in that Lord?

No one has answered his, or mine arguments yet, as to why the Sabbath Day is still the seventh day.

But, we are getting lots of personal monkey dung slung at us.

ANd according to Ms Zone, I'm rude because I don't appreciate it. :)

I tell ya, what's the world coming to, when you can't honestly expect the world to revolve around you and your pet theologies.

yes i know about the ritual handwashing.

you're a gentile, aren't you?

Acts 15:28
The Letter to the Gentile Believers

27"Therefore we have sent Judas and Silas, who themselves will also report the same things by word of mouth. 28"For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these essentials: 29that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication; if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell."

Colossians 2:16
Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.

please do not interfere with our Christian Liberty.
thank you.

Acts 15:28-29, "For it was judged right by the Holy Spirit, and us, to put on you no more requirements, than those which are
required in the Law of Yahweh
: That you abstain from godworship, from bloodshed by violence, from things cooked with the
blood still in them, and from all sexual impurity--from which you will do well to keep yourselves. Farewell!"

IF THAT WERE IT, why wouid some be rejected for sorcery?

Rev 22:15, "For outside are dogs, and sorcerers......."

Colossians 2:18, "Let no man deprive you of your reward, actually doing it on purpose, but as though in humility of mind,
through a religious worship of gods intruding into things they do not know nor understand, being puffed up by their own carnal minds;"

This was about not letting people judge you for DOING these things. In Shaul's day men were persecuted for following Yahshua in truth, probably even much more after the destruction of Bayith Yahweh.

"intruding into things they do not know nor understand, being puffed up by their own carnal minds"

Romans 8:7-8, "Because the carnal mind is enmity against; bitterly opposed to, Yahweh; for it his not subject to the Law of Yahweh, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please Yahweh."

lol the carnal minded person CAN NOT GO 24hrs with complete focus on Yahweh and a COMPLETE removal of worldly things.

How is keeping Sabbath carnal? You are dedicating your day to Yahweh, for Yahweh's study, learning, fellowshipping, work, and His SPIRIT.

Exodus 31:13-14, "Speak also to the children of Israyl, saying; Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for they are a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am Yahweh Who sanctifies you, and makes you holy"

Monsieur Dickey:

the sabbath day is the seventh day.
have you entered His rest yet?

or are you saying, even after He has said : This is the Place of Repose...no....i will not?

please tell me exactly how you observed the Sabbath this week Tannar.

Did not the Lord of Sabbath work on the Sabbath? Would He had broken one of His commandments? Where is my rest in that Lord?

Mattithyah 12:12, "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

Isayah 58:13-14, "If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of Yahweh honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in aidle conversation: Then you will find your joy in
Yahweh"

The day is about Yahweh, the pharisees tried to make it about sitting in your house and staring at your wall.

NONE OF YOUR OWN WORK OR PLEASURE, it is 24hs dedicated to Yahweh, Yahshua showed us how to keep Sabbath the way it was intended, FOR YAHWEH AND ALL THIGS YAHWEH!

No one has answered his, or mine arguments yet, as to why the Sabbath Day is still the seventh day.

Genesis 2:2-3, "And on the Seventh Day Yahweh ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the Seventh Day from all His work which He had done. Then Yahweh blessed the Seventh Day and set it apart to be holy, because in it
He rested from all the work which Yahweh had created and made."

Can you show me where it was changed?

(Yahshua did not rise on Sunday, for Him to be 3 days and 3 nights in the grave Fri-to Sun is IMPOSSIBLE)

Very agreeable. Answer me this please: if we are to walk in Love, should we not walk in it continuously? Where is my rest in my Lord?

Very agreeable. Answer me this please: if we are to walk in Love, should we not walk in it continuously? Where is my rest in my Lord?

Of cousre we are to walk in love continuously.

Sabbath we can not keep every day as people need to work for money to but food or work in a field to grow their food. The person does not keep Holy the 7th day adn them turn into a jackyl the rest (lol), no the Sabbath actually trains, and centers you, IT MADE BE have WAY better understanding of Yahweh and strengtheedn me in the Spirit to walk MORE like Yahweh wants all week.

And as far as resting in Yahshua (i assume?)

there are probably better verses than this for that topic but I really like this one:

Hebrews 12:2-3, "Looking to Yahshua, the first Who was led and cperfected by the faith, Who, for the joy that was set before Him: endured the sacrifice, despising The Shame; Bosheth and is set down at the right hand of the throne of
Yahweh! The Correction and Discipline of Yahweh For consider Him Who endured such opposition against Himself from sinners, so that you would not become weary, and faint in your minds."

He has reconciled us to Yahweh, and because of that the Spirit of Yahweh strengthens us!

Acts 15:28-29, "For it was judged right by the Holy Spirit, and us, to put on you no more requirements, than those which are

i never said 'THAT WAS IT" - that was the Council's decree resulting from the judaizer's troubling the gentiles.
we have 1,000+ commandments in the church epistles - not ONE of them is sabbath observance.

and tell me friend - are unbelieving jews who observe the sabbath (more carefully than you) puffed up by their carnal minds?

the apostles were not only working against pagan backsliding - they were working against jewish heresies as well.

"worshipping of angels" was a practice which very early prevailed among some that were called Christians, and for a long time continued in Phrygia and Pisidia; some make Simon Magus, and others Cerinthus, the author of this idolatry; but was not only a branch of the Platonic philosophy, and so a part of that philosophy and vain deceit before mentioned, Colossians 2:8, which these men might have borrowed from the Gentiles, but was a notion and practice of the Jews: before the Babylonish captivity, the names of angels were not known, nor are they ever mentioned by name in Scripture; hence they say (s), that "the names of angels came up with them, or by their means from Babylon:

after this they began to talk much of them, and to have too high a veneration for them, and ascribe too much to them; and observing that the law was ordained, spoken, and given by them, and that the administration of things under the former dispensation was greatly by their means, they fell to worshipping of them (t); and the believing Jews were hereby in great danger of falling into the same practice: hence the author of the epistle to the Hebrews, writing to the Jewish church, largely insists on the proof of Christ being superior to angels; showing that he has a more excellent name than they had; that he was the Son of God in such sense as they were not the sons of God; that they were worshippers of him, yea, that they were creatures made by him, and even ministering spirits to his saints, the heirs of salvation: and very rightly, is worshipping of angels condemned here by the apostle, since God only is the object of worship; since these are creatures, and so not to be adored; are worshippers of God and Christ themselves, and have refused adoration when it has been offered to them: that the Jews did, and do worship angels, and make use of them as mediators and intercessors, is clear from their liturgy, or prayer books, where they say (u).

", "O ye angels of mercies", or ye merciful angels, ministers of the most High, entreat now the face of God for good:

and elsewhere (w),

"they say three times, let Juhach keep us, let Juhach deliver us, and let Juhach help us:

now Juhach was the name of an angel, who they supposed had the care of men, and is taken from the final letters of those words in Psalm 91:11, "for he shall give his angels charge over thee": so they speak of an angel whom they call Sandalphon, who they say is appointed over the prayers of the righteous (x): with this notion the judaizing and false teachers seem to have been tinctured, and against which the apostle here cautions the saints, lest, under a show of humility, they should be drawn into it: and to preserve them from it, he observes, that such an one who should spread and propagate such a notion.....

Paul's fellow jews persecuted him for following the Laws of Moses more than they did?

Romans 10
1Brothers,a my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. 2For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

5For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. 6But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7or “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” 12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 3:21

and tell me friend - are unbelieving jews who observe the sabbath (more carefully than you) puffed up by their carnal minds?

the unbelieveing Jews were mainly those of the talmudic teaching, so yes they would have a problem with the way i keep Sabbath, just as they had a problem with the way Yahshua kept it. and yes they were puffed up in their carnal minds (not placing myself above any) because they followed the commandments of men. in the Talmud THERE IS A ENTIRE BOOK, not a chapter, A BOOK of ADDED SABBATH LAWS. crazy right. so they dont observe Yahweh's Sabbath, they observes the "sabbath" of the rabbis.

the apostles were not only working against pagan backsliding - they were working against jewish heresies as well. <SNIP>

I agree, but the jewish heresies we not the Sabbath it was adding to and taking away from Yahweh's word.

Deuteronomy 12:32, "Whatsoever I command you, be careful to observe and do it, dyou shall not add to it, nor take away from it."

the takanot and the ma'asim the the rabbis and pharisees trample on this

Paul's fellow jews persecuted him for following the Laws of Moses more than they did?

He was persecuted by the pharisees certianly because he left their clan and followed Yahshua, and others PERSECUTED him also:

Acts 24:14, "But I confess this to you, that after the way which they call heresy--so I worship the Father of my fathers,
believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets."

"Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes."

first this "end" means result, goal or purpose, not the destruction of. there is another place that this same word is used before "faith", so if it means "end" in that verse, it must mean "the end of your faith" in the other.

Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the fultimate result of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

can the Law save NO, but do we then do away with the Law because of faith NO!

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

In MT 7:23, yahshua says He will reject people for not being subject to Yahweh's Laws.

Mattithyah 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to Me; Teacher! Teacher! will enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh, but only he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day; Teacher! Teacher! Have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and in Your
Name performed many wonderful works? But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."

Iniquity is Word #458 from word #459, Greek Dictionary, Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, meaning not subject to (Yahweh's) Laws, transgressor.

I thikn Shauls words have been twisted by many translators, preaches, and lay people.

Kepha certianly thought this:

2 Kepha 3"14=16, "Therefore, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with Him. And recognize that the longsuffering of Yahweh our Savior is salvation; just
as our beloved brother Shaul, in accordance with the wisdom given to him, has written to you, As also in all his letters, speaking in them about these things, in which are some things hard to be understood, which those who are unlearned and
unstable twist, as they also do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction."

Leviticus 18:5
Keep my decrees and laws, for the person who obeys them will live by them. I am the LORD.

Deuteronomy 6:25
And if we are careful to obey all this law before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness."

You posted Rom3:21-22, but you ignore 3:31. you do EXACTLY WHAT KEPHA SIAD, TWIST THE SCRIPTUES TO YOUR OWN (and whoever follows you) DESTRUCTION.

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"
"Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes."

AGAIN:

"Christ is the end of the law for righteousness"

that even sounds foolish "end of the law for RIGHTEOUSNESS!" NO MORE RIGHTEOUSNESS! YAY!

first this "end" means result, goal or purpose, not the destruction of. there is another place that this same word is used before "faith", so if it means "end" in that verse, it must mean "the end of your faith" in the other.

Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the fultimate result of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy Laws (some say sacred command) delivered to them. There has befallen them the thing spoken of in the true proverb: A dog returns to his own vomit, and: A sow is washed, only to wallow again in the mire."

Acts 20:7And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

Mark 16:9Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

John 20:19Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

I would also like to ask, if I were in China should I worship on American friday because that would be my Saturday or should I worship on American Sunday because that would be my Monday. What if were in Europe? I am also puzzled, the Jewish calendar only has 360 days. How do I know what day is what? perplexed please help!!!

there's not a single NT commandment in the epistles for Sinai sabbath. not one.
every other commandment is mentioned repeatedly.

why is that one totally absent?

please someone come up with something other than - it was a given.

that's been refuted by Paul in TWO letters already.

Should have read the previous page. I posted this already. :)

Cutting it short and going straight to Romans 14:6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

The subject of eating is brought up twice in this chapter. It's sister passage can be found in 1Cor 8. The first time eating it is referring to meat sacrificed to idols and that some were confused and thought the meat became defiled by it being used in pagan sacrifice. But the second time it incorporates eating or not eating with the observance of particular days. No mention of the Sabbath whatsoever, The reason being is as new converts were entering to fold there was much confusion about what was done away with and what remained. Including feasting and fasting days, which is why the mention of eating and not eating on days were mentioned. Paul informs us that these feast and fasting days was up to the individual but no longer binding. Again no mention of the Sabbath or the ten commandments at all in this passage but people sure like to use it to explain why they don't need to keep the Sabbath.

Now as far as the subject goes about the confusion of what was done away with and what remained let's see what Hebrews was written for.

Heb 12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

So he is telling us that certain things were removed and certain things did indeed remain. And the purpose of this book is supposed to help us with that. So what does Hebrews say about the Sabbath?

Heb. 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

The word rest in verse 9 is mentioned in Strong's concordance;
"4520 σαββατισμός sabbatismos sab-bat-is-mos’

from a derivative of 4521; TDNT-7:34,989; {See TDNT 694} n m

AV-rest 1; 1

1) a keeping sabbath
2) the blessed rest from toils and troubles looked for in the age to come by the true worshippers of God and true Christians"

How do I know what day is what? perplexed please help!!!

now we know that all sin is forgiven if we confess for repentance but repentance means to confess and change our ways but keep in mind to do what is correct because if we dont confess with our whole heart we are not forgiven it is the change of heart when our heart changes we are no longer in sin because sin no longer abides "It is not a matter of legalism but of doing the righteous things for the right reasons and aknowledge its all because of the blood of jesus not by our works but " holiness is a fulfillment of God's truth
