What toad must you swallow today? Allow me to clarify, especially in the light of the fact that I'm so Southern (&wannabe Asian, LOL) that I Enjoy eating properly prepared frogs. This is the proverbial Live toad. More plainly, what is the worst thing you must do today?
 
Today I must supervise a visit between my children and their mother. I'm not sure what is worse: spending 3 hours sitting in a room doing "arts and crafts" with the woman that is divorcing me. Spending 3 hours with someone that may face criminal charges and her accuser. Spending 3 hours doing store bough "arts and crafts" kits (i keep trying to put a "P" in that word somewhere, not sure why.) That my son has to spend 3 hours with the person that he is conflicted about because on one hand she's his mom and he is programmed to love her, on the other hand...
Yeah, this may be the worst part.

There, that's the worst thing I'm expecting today. Hopefully I can come back later and find a fine list of things that you cool CC peeps have to do today. no need to try to top one another, and I am NOT fishing for sympathy here, please understand that! I just think that maybe we can keep this thread going for a smidge and post about the toads we have to swallow and gain courage about toad-swallowing in general from the thread and one another.
 
its my day off, the worst thing i have had to do today is some emails for a charity ball i am helping to organise.
 
work........................................... but I do have church tonight, so it will definitely get better :)

Write 2500 words out of 5000 words for an essay. I have 500 so far, 2000 to go....
 
Work on my portion of a group project, but I'm thinking today I will procrastinate and just hang out with my dad today. So, that means tomorrow I get to work on my portion of a group project. lol
 
I have finals next week, so I am going to go over my notes for pharmacology. Then I have to do some work in my computer class for our Excel unit, and go over my study guide for math. I get to go grocery shopping for Easter the day before Easter, so I'm uber excited about that.
 
I was overwhelmed with work, church and other stuff, so I gave up my dance class for a few months. Aaaaand I have not been eating well for a couple of weeks now. Have been grabbing whatever was handy/would fit into my work schedule. So, beginning today, I need to break out the P90X and eat right.

I always hated PE and all that nonsense, but I'm joining a gym with a couple of friends in an effort to get skinny. Nothing as crazy as P90x, though!

Way to go! Gyms scare me...people who purposely exercise and all...but then I also really kind of want to join one. Instead, I got a Jillian Michaels DVD that sits on the shelf collecting dust.

I have somehow managed to lose some weight this way.
 
My toad is swallowed for the day, but still kicking.

Whoever created toad sized cowboy spurs is a Person of Questionable Parentage.
 
Ah, P90X, how I knew you. How my ex hated you. How after most of the workouts, I wanted to punch Tony Horton for being so upbeat.

Oh! Toad swallowing! I am buying a computer. And some parts. Then I am ripping open the new computer and putting in parts. Toad munching more by choice than true necessity.
 
I want to say that God has brought me much digestive powers over that toad. I wish I could tell the world what I am eluding to, but fear speaking too soon.
