I think it would be cool if we could tag other people on here twitter or fb style so they know when they've been mentioned in a thread.

"Like @Sovereigngrace, check out this poem!"

People tend to use the like button for that. I've literally had someone like something to get my attention, bash my post, than unlike the post after I've responded :D. Whatever floats your boat.

Something like that should be easy enough to implement...

Don't worry, honey -- I don't plan to bash your post - or 'unlike' it, either... :D

Ain't gonna happen. The broken parts of this forum never get fixed, let alone something like that.

The tagging has been brought up before. If I recall correctly the base software the sites built on doesn't support it.
Perhaps that wasn't the reason, but it was said it wasn't an option.

I get people using rep. Since its anonymous they leave nasty messages through the rep. A rather cowardly and disrespectful act, I believe. People of low character and such.

I've heard others complain of this. Fortunately, I've never experienced it. Rep shouldn't be anonymous, IMHO.

It isn't completely anonymous.

It is possible for someone to leave a rep comment so that the recipient does not know from whom it came, however, if someone were to abuse the feature it is possible for Admin to look up who sent the "anonymous" comment.

I asked about that previously, and was told by an admin there was no way to look them up. Grrrr

That's very helpful! I'm glad to know that.

There are some that really like someone's post and then later on disagree with the post and are not ashamed to remove the like and then there are some that like the post and will not remove a like even If Its apparent that the post Is In error.
