I dont talk to myself so much anymore ..I use to a lot ..I've gotten into the habbit of talking to God more than anyone ..

Talking to yourself is fine.....but when you start answering yourself....that's when ya got a problem :P

"Look here, the people say I can't answer you anymore."

"Bah, whoever says that has never had a real two-way conversation."

"I mean, stop answering!!"

"Ha ha ha... make me..."

I guess... I'm not very good at following directions... Especially when it's myself that giving the directions...

well i do have a tendency to talk to myself at times. bwahah. am i weird? lol

I just had to give myself a pep talk to get dinner cooked.

And it was just frozen pizza.

I talk to my self often. Whenever a negative thought come in my mind, i just say the opposite.. i keep speaking to my self like the lady who was having blood problem and Jesus healed her.. if you read it, it says that the woman often use to say to her self that even if she touch the cloth she will be healed. So i keep speaking to my self only positive thing..

actually, it's when you start arguing with yourself and the argument gets personal and you loose the argument. Sure sign o'trouble right there!

I've *mostly* transformed my self talks and self pep talks into prayers to God.
After she left, I had a lot of insecurities about the kid's mom showing up places or kidnapping the kids. Rather than freaking out in front of my kids, I transformed this into an opportunity for them to observe my faith. That is when I started praying with them twice every morning. (once individually as I woke them, once all together in the car)

I'm in prayer all over any court date we have. Family court is very taxing for me, and we do not yet have a final decree on either the divorce or the custody. I also pray metric tons before any of the supervised visits with their mom. I guess you could say these are situations I need a pep talk over, I just get my pep by talking to God.

It really upsets me when I'm on the phone with myself and hang up. Sometimes we don't speak for days after that.

I have to give myself a pep talk before I go on stage to perform, to stop myself from shaking on stage lol It doesn't always work but does me a little good :)

I have to say, one of my middle school teachers read us a book once about a mouse (or some type of animal) hibernating for the winter his log home near the field, woods, and stream. In the deep months of the winter cold, he found he would talk to himself, quite frequently in fact, as there was no one else to converse with.

He didn't find it a bad things really, as it passed the time and arguable kept sharp his mind, but felt as though he crossed a line somewhere when he began having arguments with himself and answering his own questions.
