How can a Christian only believe in choosing 1 party. That's fascism. Stop taking my religion, and saying it's a right Wing fascist religion. Because it's not.

I believe in Democracy.

You can keep your 1 party state, just don't call it Christianity.
And don't hijack the religion and claim democracy is the Christian system of government, or that liberalism is the Christian party.

Personally, I agree with the Founders and the British form of government. Two houses, one representing the people and one representing the government. That's what we originally had. The Senate represented the diverse views of the State governments and the House represented the people. We amended and changed that government. I disagree with that change, but the change wasn't unChristian.

In essence, your argument is republicans bad liberals good. No matter what you believe, you cannot believe that or its inverse and be a true Christian.

There's your problem...you believe in "democracy". I believe in the Republic, for which it stands, one nation under God with liberty and justice for all. I believe in a limited govt...that only operates under the authority granted it by our constitution. I don't give a rip about party loyalty.

IF YOU BELIEVE IN DEMOCRACE..........I hope you are ONLY SPEAKING of your earthly government..........because Christianity IS NOT A DEMOCRACY!

THERE IS ONLY ONE PARTY.......ONE GOD......AND HE IS LORD ALMIGHTY.......ALPHA, OMEGA, AND HE COMMANDS and we either obey or deny Him..........

Earthly government/political systems should not be compared to Christianity........however.......Christians have to decide who to vote for based on their Christian faith and beliefs.........meaning the candidate that most closely represents the beliefs of a Christian........

There is no PERFECT earthly government........we do with what we have..........OR...........we don't involve ourselves......

as though the tea party isn't an arm of the GOP, manufactured to look "grassroots" ?

♫ meet the new boss
same as the old boss ♪

...........uh, well............several thousand people in Virginia beg to disagree with you.......and, come to think of it.......so do the Party Establishment of the GOP............ :)

But, I suppose it's a good "conspiracy theory" subject............ :) can't wait for the movie.

Ron Paul was a wacked out nutjob who was for total isolationism and he back stabbed the conservative candidates in the last presidential election. Supporting Ron Paul would be worse than either Bush, McCain or Romney.

The Tea party candidates in the last election DEFEATED many republican representatives in primaries....how is that a leg of the republican party, which has gone left politically and that has nothing to do with the Tea Party?

Nice to see ghosts around every corner but...there ain't no such things as ghosts.

Liberalism and christianity are polar opposites, ideologically and morally. Of that there is absolutely no question.

He's been fully indoctrinated in leftism. Note how he can't name a single specific policy position from the tea party that would make them "far right extremists". He only swallowed the academic and leftist talking points, without even checking the validity of any of their hateful claims.

Well to be fair I am pro-choice, pro ggay rights, and anti religion anywhere near government. All things in direct opposition of most tea party candidates. As far as financial things go? I don't care. I make enough money to support myself and enjoy the lifestyle I want to have,

Christianity was never meant to be some ruiling philosophy on government. It also shouldnt be used to force secular people to live up to its rules.

Makes perfect sense now. Thanks for clarifying. You should have attended summit ministries before college to gird your loins from the mind wash you received.

You ever think perhaps I was a liberal before college? I've been a liberal since I can remember. My parents are both very religious conservatives, but they believed in letting their children make their own decisions and determinations. So not quite sure where the brainwashing part came in. But you can take whatever little conspiracy theory helps you sleep at night.

I live under a Constitutional Democracy and I'm glad for it.

If I choose to vote for the Green party or the Rifle Shooter party, my choice does not invalidate my religion.

Expecting me to only vote for your right wing party of choice is fascism and frankly it's heretical.

Salvation is through Christ, not through voting for a particular party that likes to make wars with Arabs.

Do you have an ounce of Biblical proof to back up your notion.

Please provide both Old and New Testament references that directly speak about modern Liberalism from a US citizen's point of view.

Thanks.

And don't hijack the religion and claim democracy is the Christian system of government, or that liberalism is the Christian party.

Or for that matter insinuate that a leftist party like the Democratic Party has anything to do with Democracy. I think I'm going to create a party on the principle of people's gullibility and name it, "Have it your way." It's like the Democratic Party. Only everyone wins. Even corporate Burger King. My party's sponsor is secured. Who's ready for a string of flame broiled policies?

I like somebody else's idea of eliminating parties altogether.

I do like some of the things RP stood for and that he is a principled man. Closing down all of our military bases and bringing everyone home is just not feaseable. However, George Washington did advise to "avoid any foreign entanglements". I suppose it would be way too traumatic for the world for us to instantly withdraw our troops and aid, but over a period of years or decades to exit from all of these foreign lands and become the breadbasket of the world again would be the best gift we could give our progeny.

The current money system is designed to benefit the bankers and steal the wealth of the middle class. The endless borrowing that currently props up the system is gonna fail at some point anyway. We owe it to those who come after us to fix it now....not leave it for them to deal with.

Just so I get this right.......You are for the murder of a human being in the womb? (just so you are fully aware, science recognizes that life begins at conception.....it just hasn't bothered to tell you that yet). You are supportive of a movement that seeks to destroy the very foundation and order that God placed in the garden with Adam and Eve and you are for tearing down every single institution in our Govt that harkens back to its Judeo/Christian origins in favor of a secular small god govt that doles out civil rights...... instead of a Govt that operates within the confines of its founding document which supports the God given truth that we are all created equal and are Endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights. I hate to tell you this friend but your worldview is anti-biblical.

thats curious, something i have thought about a lot,,for the very reason you state about God,earthly verses godly. In (Romans 13) we are told to obey, support ect. the powers set over us(not really stating this to debate over),,,but it made me think,,,"If a king is over a people in power, and forces the people to do things against gods will",,,well then as from history of other kings who rose and then were removed by god.

The same though like thinking, just who exactly(to God) is the actual leader, king, ruler of the u.s. government?,,That is "we the people" stated that we would have no king/monarchy above us representing us as a whole standing before God. Now as in the past if God did not want this to take place(independence),,then as we know "no king rises unless God decides",,,and if God decides a king or ruler is not fulfilling his will "they fall",

So in 1776 did God put a President,or series of Presidents above "we the people" and put a President in charge and he(God) is going to hold the (President) accountable for the deeds done by our government,Or did God set (we the people) in charge of the government and we(we the people) then hire/elect different Presidents to exercise the will of "we the people" in our stead?,,,

You see i think it makes a huge difference, that is if God set "WE THE PEOPLE" (in charge) of the government, then the body of people as a whole are the ones God is holding accountable standing before judgment and not the man(President) that we hired to take care of the daily duties of "we the people". If this is so then if we(we the people) do not exercise the will of god and let the man we hired(President) do ungodly works in our behalf(by the right hand of our authority) then God will set another ruler above us.

Ok then. I mean I'm personally okay with it. Im not going to force people to live by laws they dont believe in. If this was a theocracy then that would I guess be the thing to do, but it isn't. Im all for letting people make their own decisions in life and just because they may go against Christianity, well that isn't my problem its theirs.

Don't you have a vote that counts, too, though? If you don't, say, like abortion you can choose to outlaw it in those cases when the mother's life is not threatened. I mean, America is full of all sorts of people with different views who have no compunctions about voting in a way that supports their world view. Why not you? If you believe that a nation that honors God will be honored by God, then you must recognize that your silence is allowing others to exert an influence that dishonors God on the rest of society..

And if someone doesn't like your world view, well, that's their problem. They can stew over it, but this is a republic governed by democratic principles. You have a right to uphold what you believe is right.
