The teachings that I find on the gifts of God, do not ever tell me anything about them. They say nothing about how it manifests, or how to manifest it. They only talk about how good the gift is.

Go with Scripture... and prayer. Ask the Lord to give you the gift(s) that He wants you to have... and be content with His will and timing. Scripture teaches us to "eagerly desire" but it does not tell us which gift(s) we will receive. As for 'manifesting', just stay connected to the vine and you will bear fruit in good time.

If "I" manifest it, then it is not from God is it?
Therefore "I" see "I" do not need to know do "I"? Do you still need to know? Okay this will be between God and you in God's Mysterious ways, that no flesh nature can fathom, yet tries and wants to be in Charge. Believe, receive and see new in God's spirit and Truth only, no flesh nature can understand only conjecture and remain messed up in belief that is still unbelief, because no flesh can see, not until born new by God in risen Son, at least
I see this truth now and am amazed in this amazing grace given us, woe is me as in Isaiah 6:1-7

Well the Bible does say that they are spiritual gifts given to believers by the Holy Spirit in order to edify other Christians. And also that not all Christians will have all the gifts. So when the Holy Spirit gives a person a gift, he or she can recognize it, and then make use of it. And that is all that is necessary to know.

Acts 2:1When the day of Pentecost [a]had come, they were all together in one place. 2And suddenly a noise like a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3And tongues that looked like fire appeared to them, distributing themselves, and a tongue [c]rested on each one of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with different [d]tongues, as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out.
All speaking gifts work this way. We do nothing on our own. Everything we read OT & NT prophets say/do is this way.

ok I see how it works now. Also, After visiting here on chrisitan chat forums, I know longer believe I have gifts of wisdom and knowledge. And one more thing, the Pastor laid hands on me one time and I did recieve a gift of be able to see visions and dreams. Thinking about how it manifested.

But now God doesn't show me anything anymore, I don't know why?

I still have gifts of tongues i got at Doctor Pat Holliday's church in Jacksonville.

Ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. For he that asks, receives. He that seeks, finds. To him that knocks, the door shall be opened.

Something else I found out is that if you are in a situation ministering to other people where a gift might show up, it might. When I spent time praying with people about various things, I might get something specific to pray about that I would not naturally know. But that didn't happen to me so much if I weren't in a situation where I was ministering to people. If you never pray for the sick, lay hands on them, or minister to them, if you had gifts of healing, when would you see them manifesting?

Pray more. Pray for God to show you things. Pray for people, and with people. Put yourself in situations ministering to people in which, if gifts manifested, it could edify those people.

Just know to love all and not just those that love you back or that claim to love you. there is a lot of discerning on the Bible to go through.
I suggest to you to start reading the entire Bible from Genesis to klnwo God Father of the risen Son for you. With that purpose, you will find a loving forgiving Father to appreciate.

IF christians don't pray regularily for the sick & others in need, WHY should they expect the gifts to manifest? Those who believe in it won't be used if all they want to do is speak in tongues or look for special movements of the Spirit to feel personally energized. God won't honor a selfish spirit.
Those that don't believe in it will NEVER be used because of unbelief.

John 14:12 Truly, truly I say to you, the one who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I am going to the Father.

Because of a required Greek major to get into seminary, like Jonah, I "ran away" from God's call. While I was an English teacher, I had God's skills to teach school but not his spiritual gifts. Then, he renewed his call to the ministry and gave me his spiritual gifts of preaching (prophecy) and teaching. Then, 16 years ago, he sent me into retirement from being a pastor to become a published author with the spiritual gift of creativity through writing, not one the Bible describes but definitely his spiritual gift.

As far as I can see, God can make any skill he gives people into a spiritual gift that they commit to him to be used as a blessing to others.

And these will not be wanting any notoriety, think on that for a while, and I am sure you will hear truth from God over the error in this world we are in still
Many are called, in fact all are called, yet few are chosen to be revealed truth as Paul got revealed to come to the Gentile and tell us of the gift of God, that man continues to get rewards from. When gift and reward are opposite of one another

1 Corinthians 12-14 are all about the gifts of the Spirit. Everybody has a gift or gifts related to their being/calling, though they often aren't revealed immediately. For example, it wasn't for many years into my walk that God revealed my identity of being a Prophet, but there was a period of time many years before when I was a regular watcher of the Simpsons reruns and I wondered how it was that I would repeatedly get an episode running through my head like an earworm, only to have that episode play that evening.

There are also gifts that can be imparted, though be careful of the source there because people can also receive dark spirits and their devices if they aren't discerning. This is because both are like spiritual seeds that can be planted in your soul. Receiving Holy Spirit also works this way, FYI. For me, tongues and healing were received this way, though for me tongues isn't especially helpful because I have prophecy, and as Paul pointed out in 1st Corinthians 14, what's the point of speaking in unknown words if you can speak words that can be understood?

Tongues, though, does have a place as a witness to unbelievers, and it did in fact work that way in my home when as teenagers one sister invited her unchurched boyfriend home and the other demonstrated her gift for him when he questioned if God was real. He eventually married the first sister, by the way, and is now an amazing, God-fearing addition to our family. Clearly the gifts are real, current, and work just as the Bible says they do.

Realize though, that the Bible doesn't necessarily give an exhaustive list of all possible callings and giftings. There are people in my fellowship with rare or unique identities and therefore unique gifts. For example, another of my relatives is a spiritual tracker.

As Paul writes in 1st Corinthians, we are to seek after the gifts of the Spirit, though as someone else pointed out, the purpose shouldn't be selfish. It's a bit complicated for me, because I didn't know this was already my identity, but I sought the gift of prophecy in obedience to 1 Corinthians 14 at a time when I was surrounded by those valuing the gift of tongues, and boy did God answer that one, though it took a few years.

I encourage you to get your nose into your Bible and start reading it for yourself, but I will post 1 Corinthians 12 to help you get started.

1 Corinthians 12:1-31 NASB1995
[1] Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware. [2] You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the mute idols, however you were led. [3] Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed”; and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. [4] Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. [5] And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. [6] There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. [7] But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. [8] For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; [9] to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, [10] and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. [11] But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills. [12] For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. [13] For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. [14] For the body is not one member, but many. [15] If the foot says, “Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body. [16] And if the ear says, “Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body. [17] If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? [18] But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired. [19] If they were all one member, where would the body be? [20] But now there are many members, but one body. [21] And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; or again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” [22] On the contrary, it is much truer that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary; [23] and those members of the body which we deem less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our less presentable members become much more presentable, [24] whereas our more presentable members have no need of it. But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked, [25] so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. [26] And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. [27] Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it. [28] And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. [29] All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they? [30] All do not have gifts of healings, do they? All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they? [31] But earnestly desire the greater gifts. And I show you a still more excellent way.

Amazing grace given from God not a reward, those two words are miles from one another
Prophesy, today to me is telling the done work of son done once for everyone to choose to believe God in risen son for them or not personally above everything else first
Love of God has no laws against Law

You seem to be presuming things that were never said or intended. I never said anything about amazing grace or reward. Rather I only spoke of the gifts of the Spirit. Salvation, which is what I think you mean by 'amazing grace,' is a separate though not entirely unrelated issue. God frequently doesn't reveal or give gifts till the person is mature enough to handle them, or until asked for, but gifts aren't reward. Just like you might want to give your kid a car to drive, but you aren't going to do it when they are 6-years-old because that would be irresponsible.

And you are just flat wrong if you think prophecy is "telling the done work of son done once for everyone to choose to believe God in risen son for them or not personally above everything else first." That would be evangelism. Perhaps you are drawn to it because it is your gift, but it has absolutely nothing to do with prophecy. Nothing in the Bible suggests that that is what prophecy is and there is much to the contrary. For example, read about the Prophets in the Old Testament - Although they had occasion to speak of Jesus' coming, this hadn't even happened yet so most of what they prophesied about was related to Israel and the world at the time. And New Testament prophecy covers a lot of subjects as well. For example, the prophet in Acts 21:11 spoke of what would happen to Paul.

Also, don't forget that although we all have to start somewhere, it isn't what we think about a subject that matters, but what God reveals, whether in His word or in walking with Him. And we need to be careful not to confuse human opinion or educated guess with divine revelation.

And I don't know what you are trying to get at in talking about laws or the Law.
