There's all kinds of stories and even some lawsuits from people who got this done at an early age and grew up to regret it. It's becoming more and more common.
This is all nothing more than children being pressured or lead by hand to do this.
Also it's very much a part of the woke mentality, which is also anti white, especially male.
A few other woke things happening in the world would be groups of white people literally bowing before black men and kissing their shoes.
I saw a white woman upset, I mean really upset, because she had a white male baby. Said she was definitely going to raise him to be gay to offset it.
LGBTQ+ antifa violence. Or antifa in general.
Anti-Jewish. Some colleges the students were blocking Jewish students from getting on campus.
That's just a few of the things connected to the gender identity issue through the woke mindset. Is this what you want for your teen?
I don't know any personally. Back in the day you always had tom-boys and nancy-boys. Notice how only one of those terms is an insult? I bet a lot of these younger trans people actually just have a problem with handful of aspects attributed to their gender and end of thinking they're another gender.

In many cases, probably wrongly attributed, twisted ideas of what is masculine and feminine. When Joe schmoe ends up around a bunch of hyper-masculine dudes that pass off some of their weirder behaviors as "masculine", and Joe Schmoe has more in common with the women he is in contact with. *Poof* gender confusion. An oversimple explanation, but I think it has some accuracy.
To speak the truth is true compassion.
True gender is biological and spiritual reality determined by God. Long before one is born, God individually crafts the soul to be who they are. There are then differences in which sex hormones affect the unborn baby causing irreversible differences between the bodies of males and females. And every cell of one's body indicates whether they are male or female. The idea that gender is driven by choice is delusion, rebellion against God and self-hatred inspired by Satan. To encourage people, especially young people, to so-called "transition" (in quotes because really you can't change your soul or every cell of your body), is to encourage their destruction. Really, gender transition is a type of suicide.
We do need to keep in mind though, that there can be birth defects, both physical and spiritual which complicates the issue, and therefore we need to have a proper amount of compassion and understanding of a person's situation. For example, a person may have a y-chromosome with a defective SRY gene, which then produces a baby that appears to be female until a genetic test is done. Other times the sex organs aren't definitively male or female. And God showed a friend of mine that her son who wants to be a female was spiritually damaged by the spiritual environment he had in utero because of where her spirit had been at the time of her pregnancy.
These conditions don't make the person immune to sinful choices about their sexuality, but they can certainly blur the issue from being easily judged justly, especially by outsiders. We should never lose sight, though, of the fact that rejecting God's design is sinful no matter how hard a pure walk is for someone. The fact is that we all have something like that that keeps us from being perfect, and that is why we ALL need a savior in Jesus. For example, I have never struggled with gender dysphoria but I do struggle with pride. I am just as much in need of a savior.
Salvation, though, requires recognition of our fallen state and a desperation to be restored to original intent - that is the repentance of salvation. One cannot both willfully walk in their current fallen state AND receive salvation.
And for us outsiders, that means encouraging the one suffering from gender dysphoria to align with the truth of who God made them to be rather than encouraging them to go along with a destructive and rebellious lie. I'm sure that many or even most proponents of gender transition mean well, but really their love is insufficient if they aren't willing to speak the hard truths at the appropriate times. We know from 1st Corinthians 13 that love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
So much of what is classified feminine and masculine is the result of society and not scripture. Look at men's skirts, common in other cultures and not hard to wear in a manly way, but western society is still stuck in the Victorian notion that to wear something that isn't pants requires the person to be a woman of some sort, despite the fact that women have already breached all the clothing conventions, but men are still expected to tow a sixty year old line.
That's why I think that we are getting smacked with this trans-movement so badly. It something that both 'conservative' and 'liberal' types err very badly. The more liberal want to blur the line and pretend it's not there, and conservatives often want to pretend the line is wherever their personal preferences are at.
People eventually get sick of trying to live up to society's expectations and just SNAP; and decide "screw it, I'm just going to do what I think/feel" because "society" is full of crap... why listen to a "society" that really has no idea what it is doing?
I definitely don't think surgeries and 'transitioning' are a legit thing to do- but I think I do understand the affliction of the people that decide to go in that direction; and I think it's really unfortunate that psychology has decided to go with it instead of help people accept being the sex that they are.

Mutilation of body parts and the witch Drs (MDs) who suggest it are always associated with demonic influence and often possession. Some doctors have no conscience and perform unnecessary surgeries in general. Some choose to cut off boys penises and girls breasts. Others mutilate babies, which is considered the child sacrifices and sacrament of the church of Satan.
They are trying real hard to lead young people to follow the devils who want to control them, destroy lives and send them to hell.
All of the androgyny cross dressing is called an abomination to the Lord. He designed men and women with distinctive characteristics in design and in appearance. We should embrace the special way God designed us.
