A committed Christian should avoid watching sexually explicit content—for any reason, as it goes against biblical principles of purity and honoring God with one’s thoughts and actions."I would hope your father wouldn’t want to watch sexually explicit movies, but even if he did, at least he wasn’t listing his failings on a Christian chat for everyone to see.
You’re right. Better keep one’s failings under wraps like the Pharisees.

we're looking for "flawless" here.... nothing less will be tolerated.... I think a couple of hours in the stocks should straighten her right out....![]()
I guess I'm just overly sensitive, but I usually don't appreciate someone else taking my inventory... trying to get the splinter out of my eye, while trying to see past the branch in their own eye...She's trying too bro.
Some boomers (my father included) are like that. So we enjoy their comments.

I have seen telenovellas. They were hokey and cheesy. They obviously didn't have the budget for any a-list, b-list or even c-list actors, so the poor director was making do with what he had.Okay, I admit that I’m watching tekenovelas to improve my Spanish…or maybe just because I think they are fun to watch.
I was just watching “La Huésped” and it was quite entertaining, in my opinion.
So what do you think about telenovelas?
She's trying too bro.

Like... Okay, there are good shows. Then there are bad shows. Then there are so-bad-it's-good shows. Dear Lynx, greetings. Talking without accountability is like talking to someone who carries a backpack full of excuses for everything wrong they do. You go about blaming anything and everything on low standards. From what I have seen, you know a lot about what is sinful and wrong, but you seem to enjoy it, as if that makes it acceptable for you. Remember, sin may be enjoyable for a season, but the price you may have to pay could be extremely high. Anytime you do something that leads you away from the will of our Heavenly Father, you will see that I desire the opposite—I want to please the Father in everything I do.
It’s the same argument given in the beginning: Adam was commanded not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In this case, you are like Adam, wanting to eat the fruit, saying it won’t kill you. But I am telling you, it will.
good grief.... more wisdom from the fully righteous....
Here's a thought for you....

Thank you I love Charles Spurgeon here the rest of it: The full quote from Charles Haddon. Spurgeon is:
"No man is really saved unless he is, in his heart, obedient to Christ. I do not say that you will be perfect, but you will desire to be so. I do not say that you will not be tempted to sin until you die, but there will be no sin that you will love, there will be no sin from which you will not long to be delivered. Your spirit will cheerfully bend down its neck to wear the collar of sacred service and as far as your inner and spiritual man is concerned, you will cry mightily unto God against the very thought of sin—and pray that you may walk in holiness and in the fear of the Lord all the days of your life."
This is from one of Spurgeon's sermons emphasizing that true salvation involves heartfelt obedience and a sincere desire to live in holiness, even though perfection is not expected here on earth. Charles Spurgeon - Wikipedia

Well the drama here can be a lot like a telanovella. Complete with exaggerated acting, posturing, remonstrating and bravado.
I guess my favorite telanovella is CC. =^.^=
