When my father asks to fix his IPTV box because he’s too old to know how any technology works.
During this time I see about 30 seconds of Turkish telenovelas which are enough for a lifetime to annoy you.

Some boomers (my father included) are like that. So we enjoy their comments.
I guess I'm just overly sensitive, but I usually don't appreciate someone else taking my inventory... trying to get the splinter out of my eye, while trying to see past the branch in their own eye...
Yes, sinless perfection is what we all strive for, but we all fall short of that.... and to have someone ready to "pounce" with scripture condemning us grows wearisome...
But.... I'm young, I'll get over it....

May I humbly point out that:
1. Here on the forum, my mean streak is pretty much an open secret.
2. My tomato-throwing arm is pretty lousy and my aim is even worse, therefore, I would need to resort to bringing out the heavy artillery:
I know @Texasgal pretty much volunteered, but maybe we should start stockpiling tomatoes and make a list of other candidates.
I have seen telenovellas. They were hokey and cheesy. They obviously didn't have the budget for any a-list, b-list or even c-list actors, so the poor director was making do with what he had.Okay, I admit that I’m watching tekenovelas to improve my Spanish…or maybe just because I think they are fun to watch.
I was just watching “La Huésped” and it was quite entertaining, in my opinion.
So what do you think about telenovelas?
Like... Okay, there are good shows. Then there are bad shows. Then there are so-bad-it's-good shows. Then there are Star Wars Christmas Special level of bad.
Now I'm not saying the telenovellas I saw were WORSE than Star Wars Christmas Special... But they sure could give it a run for its money.
So yeah, no, I don't watch them. I don't watch shows that most people say are good, so I'm definitely not watching telenovellas.
