I was actually thinking of using little daisy shapes instead.
You know, to put a smile on the prisoners', uh, guests', faces.
And everyone knows that if you cut out someone's heart, it's a sign of enduring affection. It means you their heart all to yourself, and by golly, no one else can have it!
(Don't guys swoon for that? A woman who wants to keep their heart forever?)

Dungeons are for people that are in some kind of prison. And love that is held in bondage to anyone is pure slavery to me. Any sort of control of another human being is a form of abuse really.
Although I seem to think that a lot of men maybe think that they have to control their spouse, is to control their love. But if that is the case then how can it truly be love that they had to begin with.
Love is always given through the heart . But can you imagine if you will- one of the founding fathers of the faith, Jacob working for Laban his father in law for 7 years in order to recieve Rachel as his bride. In the morning light it is Leah in his tent instead. No problem Laban tells him, work another 7 years and I will give you Rachel too. Must have been true love back then too? lol Maybe that Laban made love into to much work? lol Read that story in Genesis.

Thank you, Rhythm801 (Are you a musician by any chance? Just curious). I can absolutely agree with you on the subject of love, and can heatedly argue that love and freedom go hand in hand, that control is a response operating from fear and rejection and that it is very painful if such a thing is evident in any relationship.
But as CatHerder was kindly pointing out, my response about the dungeon was just a silly joke extending from another silly joke that was happening in this thread. But thank you for taking the time to explain something to me, I see the heart behind it.

Laban? Ugh! I really, really, really disliked that guy as a kid, as a teen, and yes, even as an adult. Jacob had it tough, but Leah - she had it pretty rough too. I still don't quite understand that part of Jacob's story.
I always find it interesting that people romanticize that story... when it really was about manipulation, trickery and deceit on the part of just about everyone involved. Does anyone else find it ironic that Jacob dressed and pretended to be his brother in order to deceive his father and steal a blessing at his mother's prompting, and then later Leah pretends to be her sister in order to steal a husband (Jacob himself) at her father's prompting? Who needs Jerry Springer when you have the beginning of Israel to read about.
(But praise God for his redemption!)
