This is something I've been meaning to do for awhile...

When I first came to CC, I was ...recovering...from several things. And I'd made a couple of bad choices dating-wise, and really wasn't the person I should have been. I wasn't following the Lord as closely as I should have been. While we all still have a lot of growing to do, I'm not the person I was when I came here and I credit not only God, but many of you here, and especially in this forum, for that. :)

The world I work in is very dark and it's so easy to become hardened or jaded. My new church and those of you here in CC help me keep that in check. It keeps the shell cracked. :) Helps me remember that I'm human. Helps me understand how far God has pulled me out. Helps me understand that He's got me and He'll lead the rest of the way, as He will with all of you.

So, for those of you who are new and have come with heavy hearts or with things you wrestle, welcome. You've chosen wisely. :) To those of you who've been here...thank you. :) <3

This is a very heartfelt thread Jullianna. I agree, CC is a great place to find accountability, fellowship, advice, thoughts, ideas, and to glorify God. I'm so blessed to have found this site and the people who are a part of it. God is good.

SO far this place has been good for me, Im glad it helped you Jullianna. Maybe I can find the same thing you did from here...or something close enough for me

I trust that you will, Nautilus. Those who truly seek His higher ways find them. :)

I haven't been active here too long but this thread is encouraging

Becoming friends with you is the one thing I can truly be thankful to CC for.

I would say that a large number of us came to CC at a difficult time in our lives and many of us found healing in different ways. As for myself, I came found this site during a period of being unemployed, and immediately after finding out that my fiance had been involved with someone else for over a year. I had entirely too much time on my hands to focus and dwell on those negative things which is always a bad thing. God led me to healing on this site because it gave me numerous opportunities to minister with people who were lost and hurting which took my focus off of myself and my circumstances.

Honestly hearing Jullianna and other women talk about what they percieved their roles in the home and church to be restored my hope that there are still women out there who live out their lives, as God helps them, according to godly principles without trying to bend scripture to fit their personal ideologies.

I think that people get out of this site what they put into it, and long term users who are well founded in scripture that truly have a heart for others make this site what it is.
