Yes the people of Antioch was known for doing such things, in acts 11:26
after Barnabas brought Saul to Antioch where they taught there for about a year the text says the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

second time was when Herod Agrippa II replied to Paul in Acts 26:28, surely the phrase was gaining popularity

The third time the term is used in 1 Peter 4:16 yet if any man suffer as Christian let him not be ashamed: but let him glorify God on this behalf.

Yes indeed people were slain for believing in Christ, thus the name was coined in response to those who would die because of the gospel, surely Paul had no beef with the name and I think that's why he mentions the name Christians. I have no beef with that quite honorable and surely Paul saw it that way as wel.

I meant no harm when I gave that example, indeed I may say things that seem sort of odd myself, im sorry my answer wasn't something of worth.

This is why Jesus commanded
the children of God this commandment:

Luke 14:33
So likewise,
whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath,
he cannot be my disciple.
 
Every commandment
that Jesus gave to them who loved Him
has a specific purpose to help the ones
who obeyed Him.

Just as the Lord God gave Adam and Eve
the commandment not to eat from the tree of
knowledge of good and evil.

The saved will try to love you as God loves us but Jesus love will be more encompassing because He knows us better than we know ourselves.

Obey all the commandments of Jesus the Christ
over and over and over repeating the same obedience without ceasing
and not looking back or turning back.
They are scripture.

Both, if they don't believe in the Savior and what He did on the Cross to wash away their sins.

We don't keep ourselves but God keeps us in His hands
