Dear Friends, if you are bored and just feel like playing with the troll I get it.
But remember that trolls feed on attention. Starve them of that, and either their attacks get worse to the point of banning, or they also get bored and go away on their own.
Did they? That's the member you said you don't agree with in their postings. But here you are, agreeing with them.
And you both have the same attitude toward the Bible and those who know the scriptures, unlike the two of you demonstrate.
The two of you unite and claim you should not be corrected of your errors concerning scripture. YOU even stated earlier that this site needs people like you here doing what you're doing. Which is, misrepresenting the scriptures, accusing Christians of bad behavior, and whining when someone disagrees with you, using the symbol available to state that.
He, like unto Unctus, is unapologetic for their behavior. It is instead our fault we reprimand them for their , or his, behavior.
I agree with the brother. And it is something I said many pages ago in this thread that was started by Sketch. We've paid his intentions and disrespect attention now for 20 pages. To what end? Is it positive? Educational for them? To the contrary. Instead, they berate us for having the good open hearts we have to correct them of their error. As we're told to do. See 2 Timothy 2 for one example.
I have no problem saying the troll(s) should be removed from our midst. They serve no purpose but their own agenda. Pray for them. They'll be back I'm sure. But in the meantime people of Christ deserve more respect than what is shown by Unctus and Sketch.

The Pharisees also found the tone the Lord presented ugly to their ears.

Hypocrisy of the Pharisees, Matt 23:1-12
Jesus, at this time, was thronged with pilgrims from all over Israel who had come to celebrate the Passover feast. Addressing Himself to them and to His own disciples, Jesus solemnly warned them concerning the scribes and Pharisees (cf. Mark 12:38-40; Lk 20:45-47). This discourse, as a whole, is found only in Matthew. Jesus began by acknowledging that they were seated in Moses’ seat. While not saying it in so many words, He implied that they were usurpers who were not truly successors of Moses. But nevertheless, their position must be recognized. Accordingly, He told them, “All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do” (23:3).
By commanding them to observe and do what the Pharisees instructed them, Jesus certainly did not mean that they should follow the false teachings of the Pharisees but rather those teachings that naturally and correctly arose from the Law of Moses. Jesus preached love, peace, truth, all of which was despicable to the Pharisees ears.
When someone then comes here asking whether we are to love one another, and gets blasted by numerous individuals, some of whom even claim him having another spirit than that from God, I then recognize a lot of Pharisees spirits here.

I don't think so.
well, we must, yes must is the right word, forgive those who despise and use us just as Christ in God has forgiven us...and this can be a struggle if we forgive from the heart as Jesus says we must
two things: we start the process with an affirmation of what God says is true and we assent
God deals with each one of us, if our hearts are open before Him (He always sees straight in, but too many keep their
hearts hidden even from themselves) so that we do forgive from the heart
you can still be straight up with a forgiving heart...and since God knows the heart, and while I have not attained to all that I can be in Christ, I have no problem being straight up
I don't entertain what I perceive as masquerading as truth and so far, well, so far, I have not had to apologize. I don't like it when some say well Jesus had a stern rebuke so I can also. the reason I don't like it, is that many who say that, basically operate out of that at many turns
since I will most likely never meet anyone in this forum outside of heaven, I can say that I experience sorrow over these things but I did not come to that without some tough and diligent lessons taught by the Holy Spirit who is never above giving us a good tap on the shoulder
that is not bragging...but anyone who thinks so is fine to think so

I do not call people names and frankly, I don't think you do recognize the Pharisee spirit and frankly, I am really fatigued with Christians call other Christians pharisees

Could someone answer this to me: HOw come the Bible says that in 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 but then we see how Paul and almost everyone else seemingly disobeys this very thing? "If any man love not the Lord, let him be accursed" well thats not loving. Or what Paul said to the judaizers in 5:12?. What is the difference between STRONG REBUKE and "Love does not dishonor others" as the verse above says?

you are right. it IS hard to always be loving and nice...love, in scripture when discussing the things of God, is an 'action' word and not a fluffy emotion. as Paul says...he wishes he were accursed, the pain of his love for his own people and he remembers his own condition before Christ met him to say this
God is holy...meaning set apart, not meaning His actions (although all are holy because He is holy)
honestly....not one single one of us can claim this love on our own. the heart is a very fickle thing. very. every one of us
in other words, it would be correct to say that Paul strongly rebuked those trying to convince new Gentile converts to follow certain Jewish law or custom, out of love, but the source of the love would be God. I think it would be correct to say because of his great love for God, Paul also loved those who were lost and or cut off
we cannot do this on our own especially when we have a real reason to dislike or even hate in some extreme cases
John said we love because He first loved us. allowing people to continue blindly in deception or false love is not God's love
I think wanting others to like or love us may be the reason some always sound so accepting...and please...I am not at all meaning that to anyone in this forum

For example if a parent whips their children
to correct them and that is what it took to correct
them that is in love.
For correction is love.
But if a parent whips there children
because they had a bad day or for any other reason
than to correct them
then that is not love.
