This is a very good thread topic to discuss.

It's like the Gifts of the Spirit dilemma. Those who claim they have Ceased are missing out because the Holy Spirit of God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Then we have those who have clearly abused the Gifts of the Spirit of God and made a complete mockery of God. Obviously speaking here, both groups have clearly bewitched themselves.

And for those who got the Gifts of the Spirit of God and are living and utilizing them correctly I say Praise God and good for them.

But there's many topics found within the Bible that we see not being used. Being used incorrectly. Or being used properly. And it seems the majority are being bewitched by it all.

Dear we who believe in the gifts of the Spirit, we live by it and it is great empowerment for ministry. However some people carry out fake manifestation justt to attract crowds thus we need discernment.

I have seen unexplainable things in broad daylight in my own home ( no , not my hubby cleaning the bathroom ) there were others with me , non Christians who were terrified . Not me , I'm a Christian and God is Sovereign . Nothing can touch me if I am His and He is mine . I do believe that this world and the people in it ( not my brother's and sisters in Christ ) r steeped in sin . I am reminded of a book by John Steinbeck , it's called Cannery Row . One of my faves . It's about a man , educated and professional , who lives and works in a terrible environment . His neighbours r drunks and prostitutes and thieves . This man is desperately trying to not get sucked into their way of life , he has a weakness , alcohol . His neighbours know his weakness and they play on it , using every weapon available to them . Subtlety , seduction etc .
It definitely reminds me of me , not personally but metaphorically . And if it's me then it's u also . We r in the world which mostly is full of sin and sinners , many of whom do not c themselves as bad people exactly , just people of this world , products of their environments and eras . We r supposed to keep ourselves separate and not walk by sight in this world of distractions , these distractions r everywhere and anything can b an idol to us . Even this site ! If u spend more time on here than u do reading your Bible and saying your prayers.....It's so nice to b in good Christian company I must admit 😍 .
I am honestly tortured every day by the sight of my eyes . The evil and the suffering that I c every day really can get me down but I'm sure that it's some kind of test for me , will I still love and trust in my God when I c so much distressing pain and misery around me ? Will I still trust in His love and mercy when I c war and famine and disease every where ? I need to walk by faith , not by sight . This world wants to drag me into it and then consume me . God wants me in His Kingdom . I'm choosing life and the Giver of it . I hope Jesus returns very very soon and changes everything . Thy Kingdom Come .

I just want to warn that two prominate people who got obessed with the supernatural became unsound,
Rebecca Brown who wrote "He Came To Set The Captives Free," interviewed witches and etc, ended up in an insane asylum, Bob Larson started doing Necromancy (summoning the dead, I witnessed this at his meeting and left) and got way off the wall on warefare.

I have seen many people fall into bondage getting to into spiritual warfare, and no wonder. Exorcist in the Greek means to "ἐξορκιστῶν, exorkistes, one that binds by oath (spell), by implication, an exorcist (conjurer), exorcist comes from the word exorkizo to conjure and abjure," (The Key Word Study Bible, 1977 NASB, Greek 1844-45, pg 2166)). Hence Jesus said, "you will caste out demons." And why the demons beat up the exorcists in Acts is because they were part of a tradition hat castes demons in; something I have seen supposed "deliverance ministers" like Bob Larson do to a friend of mine. You have to be careful with this stuff.

Demons have the power people, including believers, give them. You are sadly ignorant of what scripture states if you think once you become a believer its a one and done. YOU cannot send demons anywhere. ANY authority over them a believer has is in the name of the One who defeated the devil and his kingdom.

You have 'tried' to pray for her? First you state that yr sister does her 'magic' during certain hrs and now you say you sent the demons back to hell. You know, I honestly do not care much anymore about all the different and incorrect ways people think they have some kind of protocol from God to deal with the devil, but I do care for those who are actually struggling against things that hold them captive even though they believe.

Have you ever encountered actual demons? I am not ignorant I stand in Christ if he is for us who can be against us?

Some of them I will admit were so strong I struggled to fiight against them it wss in this time I had to have Jesus himself shield me and fight for me but regardless when I was not strong enough he was. Jesus wants us to learn to be warriors against the forces of darkness if you give them any room at all they will overtake you you need to learn to understand and stand in the authoirty we have in Christ otherwise they will have all the power you let them have

Again I ask how much experience do you have in spiritual warfare and have you encountered actual demons?

As for my sister she has to be willing to recieve the help of Christ I can pray all day for her but unless she opens her heart Christ will not force himself on her she has to be willing to recieve there is a system in the spiritual realm and rules that it abides by

Yes I believe that's true it's been said that at 12am many evil people awake while 3 am devil worshipers have their gatherings ect. I think they chose that time becuase its opposite of when jesus died on the cross for our sins.This. While Christians around the world have midnight prayer and morning prayers (4-5am)

Really? you want to know how much experience I have in spiritual warfare. I am not given to bragging as you seem to be, but God knows. I don't believe much of what you say about yourself. The Bible never has Jesus Himself fighting for anyone. He has already won the battle. You flip between total authority and demons almost killing you indicating a sad lack of actual knowledge of what really occurs.

Renew your mind in scripture instead of reveling in imaginary accounts of slaying he dragon.

I'm sorry that happened to you Blain. God often puts us right next to someone that evil or perhaps it because they are more tempted by the demons in our presence? but God gives us the desires of our hearts so one day she also may be save.

The Bible actually does not indicate a person with an exorcist 'ministry'. Some people do have the gift of discerning between spirits but that is not as separate ministry as so many run after that and brag that is what they do. EVERY Christian should have knowledge of how to deal with the demonic but the real massive problem is that far too many do not have knowledge of what they have actually been saved from. There are no biblical so called deliverance ministries. Running all over the place for deliverance is not biblical but sadly since so many spit on the gifts, we see this happening.

You do indeed to have to be careful. Demons will give a person all the thrills they seek but they are all liars and should not be addressed. Just cast them out as Jesus said. In His name of course

Truth is tho, nowhere in Scripture is a Christian delivered from a demon. Yes the Soothsayer woman, and Simon The Sorceror were dealt with, but they were not Christians. So the question remains, why are Christians getting delivered from demons in their "solarplexes" and strongholds inside them and etc, when there is no deliverance of Christians in The New Testament; yes unbelievers and those first getting saved, but other than that we have no Scripture to support deliverance ministry of Christians.

Yes we are not to seek out such things but a wise old saying says the devil does not come against you unless your a threat to him. as Christians we are in constant spiritual warfare even as we debate on here the key is to be prepared to have the armour of God and to stand in the authority of Christ so that when we are attacked we will be ready.

the name Jesus has absolute power over them not all are called to battle some are not called to be in such a deep level of warfare but for those who are they fight a war unseen by the human eyes and being delivered by the name of Jesus sometimes is the only way to win against them as some demons are just that strong.
