Yea nah I don't think the potluck was a good idea Seoulsearch

After we went on the cruise, (and didn't get seasick) had the buffet, the Wangnoodles restaurant plus Chocolate Bar. and the non-alcoholic champagne tower. I don't think anyones really gunning for a potluck.

Plus my five cheeses melting potluck dish didn't appeal to anyone. Or the Jello fish. And I ate all the lasagne so nobody else could have any.
Lasagna is my favorite! I would have definitely wanted some.

I love KFC :) Although I think it tasted better years ago.

I'm not a fan of having a BBQ because I don't like waiting around to eat. As an introvert I have no desire for chit chat and I want any kind of social event to be over with as soon as

possible.
What about Chick fil a?Their chicken breast sandwich is the best I've found.

I know I keep saying this, but where have you been all my life. 😎😍
I obviously can't propose marriage, but don't be alarmed if someday I try to move into your neighborhood. 🥸
I dunno @CarriePie, you might want to be careful. Their mustache looks funny.

😂

LOL!!

I'm going to have to work on a better disguise!

"Why hello, @CarriePie! I'm your new neighbor!! What's that? Oh no, I totally don't know you from CC... I'm totally not stalking you... and I'm totally not here just to continuously sample your cooking..." 😎

I think it just might work! 😆

tasty, parmesan, mozzarella, ricotta and creamy blue

Also nobody ate Rachel's trifle once word got round what was in it. I had to take it home again. Never mind, potluck leftovers are better the next day!

I'll just freeze it and take it to the next church potluck luncheon held the following Sunday. By the time lunch rolls around the ice cream and peas should have melted and been soft enough to eat instead of crunchy.

From Google:

In New Zealand, "tasty cheese" is a popular, full-bodied aged cheddar with a stronger and sharper flavor profile than mild or medium cheddars. It is typically aged for up to 18 months, giving it a distinct sharpness while remaining a staple household block in supermarkets.

Characteristics of NZ Tasty Cheese
    • Aged Cheddar: It is an unstandardized commercial term used by local dairies to mean an aged, sharper cheddar.
    • Maturation: Typically aged longer than mild or colby varieties to build a richer, deeper taste.
    • Mainland Brand: The most iconic and widely available version found in local fridges is produced by Mainland.

So "tasty" is sharp cheddar.

So it was just five cheeses melted together in a pot? And nobody wanted any? I'll take some!

Maybe they just lacked anything profitable to do with it. Next time bring some toast points or tortilla chips or something in which to dip it.

There were bread crumbs on top because the only toast I had was stale.

But I suppose you could have it with cornflakes in a bowl instead of milk.

I'd rather not go anyway. 😸 When I was growing up I was always told to help clean up after parties and help setup. I hated that. 😼
I for one love to help setting up and cleaning up, together team work.

One thing I hate is long parties, people just sitvand talk for a long time. I would rather get up and help cleaning, so I don't run out of topics to talk about.
