Also nobody ate Rachel's trifle once word got round what was in it. I had to take it home again. Never mind, potluck leftovers are better the next day!
I'll just freeze it and take it to the next church potluck luncheon held the following Sunday. By the time lunch rolls around the ice cream and peas should have melted and been soft enough to eat instead of crunchy.

I for one love to help setting up and cleaning up, together team work.I'd rather not go anyway.When I was growing up I was always told to help clean up after parties and help setup. I hated that.
One thing I hate is long parties, people just sitvand talk for a long time. I would rather get up and help cleaning, so I don't run out of topics to talk about.
