America is the engine of this train of evil that leads to judgment.
We Christians have failed our Lord and this nation.
The ones that have failed the Lord are not the Christians but rather those that choose to live for themselves taking all the pleasure that they can despite the costs to those that truly care about God and desire to humbly serve Him.
You might be right, but I believe that we as Christians have been to silent and inactive as this wickedness became the norm.
Don't you believe we, and our fathers before us could have done more to stop or at least slow down path we are now on?
According to Answers.com, there are about 2.1 Billion Christians in the world. How, exactly are the few million here in America the "engine of this train?"
Sometimes we think far too much of ourselves.......
You may be right but as for myself I just want to survive another hard day. It's predicted in the bible that the conditions of the world are going to get progressively worse until the time that Jesus returns. This is not to say that we, as Christians should accept the inevitable, but there is really only so much that we can do.
Necessity is the mother of invention. If and when things get rough the days prior to WW2 are an example of what people can do when they have a common goal. The only unknown is that in our digital age we are much more vulnerable to collapse of our society thru various means. Everyone is dependent on electricity and others to get food and such things. Add into that how virtually everyone is medicated, fat and lazy and you have a recipe for massive disaster.
I did not mean that Christians were the engine, but America is.
True Christians have always been a minority in America, but in the past we had a great deal of influence.
I think many Christians have been side tracted in their duty because they also became self centered.
Careful with the personal attacks brother.

I can always thin out the deer population that eats my lawn every morning. My neighbors have hundreds of black deer if needed. They call them cattle, but if I get hungry, they are deer.

I'm afraid that if it happened today not only would you have to find food but then you'd have to defend it from the angry hordes looking to steal it.
