Doesn't one need first to understand what it meant previously to understand how it applies now?I am showing you how it applies to us.

My questions arise from my studies. I'm attempting to ascertain the breadth of your understanding to see if you can add to mine.If you want to study that subject, then go for it. I am not stopping you.

How does what is written in Revelation apply to 1st century hearers?Very clever of you. Ask the question, and I will answer it.

Why should anyone accept your teaching if it has no fundamental foundation?I am not teaching that subject. Find that information on your own.

So...you prop yourself up as a teacher, but do not have the wherewithal to stand up to the scrutiny of what you teach? Instead, your response is to ascribe such activity as motivated by the evil one. All without ever undergirding your arguments with a foundation of truth. The angle of attack that you are pursuing is weak.
As I said, very clever of you.
However, if you wish to know, Jesus Christ is on my side. So you loose the argument since I am teaching how the BOR applies to us today. I am not willing to be diverted into some obscure nonsense as a flood from Lucifer that you are propagating.

I wonder...doesn't this open the understanding to error?
I'm not attacking you. I'm merely questioning whether your understanding is girded with understanding. If your teaching cannot undergo scrutiny, it's likely in error. You were very clever as you began your argument to come in under the radar. But I saw you. Now your attack is more in the open. If you had a question about what I am teaching, then you would have asked it.
Nevertheless, you continue to attack using the same diversion that is so cunning among the wicked.
And while you may dissuade some from learning about the coming tribulation, you will not get all of them. Some see what I see. A devil in sheep's clothing attacking one who is teaching about the BOR.

Economics may be considered to be important to any kingdom, but that doesn't mean that when we read the word "king" in Scripture, we can replace it with "economics."The time of the great tribulation is now. Therefore, the prophecy is for us today.
With regard to Babylon being an economic system.
Rev. 13:15-17 tells us that the mark of the beast is an economic system that represents the beast of Rev. 13:1, which is the beast of Rev. 17:3, of whom Chapter Seventeen is about. Therefore, the seven fallen are economic systems, from which the eighth economic system comes.
Economics is the life blood of any kingdom. For without the econonic system, the kingdom falls.
Grace and peaceI will tell you once again. If you want to understand how the BOR applies to first-century saints, then go for it.
But that is not what you want. No, you want to attack my knowledge about the BOR. So stop pretending to be a saint and face the fact that you are representing Lucifer in attacking me. I can see you.
But the "he that readeth" could be anybody reading from the time John wrote the words to the end of the world. That includes people living today who read Revelation, but it cannot mean that the details are all things that are happening now.

Revelation 5:1-4The seals storyline primarily covers the 3.5-year tribulation.
I go with the first because it matches earlier descriptions
