Israel, as in the Northern Kingdom. In the OT, the Northern Kingdom of Israel is often identified synonymously by it's major tribes - Ephraim and/or Manasseh; the Southern Kingdom is identified synonymously by it's major tribe - Judah.
promises went to Abraham and Isaac and to Jacob,
Jacobs name change to Isreal, then Isreal placed his
name on his grand kids from Josephs and an egypt woman.
if you add up all promises from Abram to egypt,
we will see that they where not all given out because of unfaithfullness.

now the tribe of Judah is only one tribe and never ever called Isreal by itself.
if you think all Isreal is the current jews , you will get future prophecy wrong.
