The government shutdown ended Sunday night, said the news. The Democrats voted for the budget on the promise that Republicans would vote on the subsidies.

CNN told me it was a 60-40 vote. But I see the news different this morning.

Actually, the shutdown remains, and probably will remain, for at least another week.
 
If the vote in this livestream passes, the shutdown will swiftly end.

Trump already spoke earlier today and affirmed that he will act fast to end the shutdown.

Praise Jesus.

Just curious why did you post misinformation? I don't think you meant any harm though.At least it wasn't disinformation.

One disrupts commerce, the economy and Trump's base. The other stirs up the Democrats base to do criminal things that embarrass moderate Democrats.

It's not really misinformation even very liberal sources are acknowledging it. You could look at it more of a phase since this shutdown has gone on so long, the now record holder of US history. The shutdown will imminently end and quickly too both by neccessity as well as the mechanics of power turning. The 60-40 vote and the Pragmatic Democrat 8 and how much crow Chuck will eat ensures this will come to pass swiftly. Going through the House and Trump is guaranteed to be as efficient as possible for the good the People, so the only hold up has been the Senate for a month led by Chuck, but now that they rebelled on Chuck, especially with the Minority Whip Durbin finally having enough of Chuck's crap, this all but assured to imminently end the Shutdown politically speaking. Functionally speaking yea they gotta do the technical work and paperwork and stuff, but politically, it's over, it will rapidly resolve. Praise Jesus

The Lord showed His mercy once again!
 
The government will probably reopen. The Republicans appear to have won this battle but they are going to lose the war. During the shutdown, the American people have seen the true colors of the Donald and maga and don't like what they see. Last Tuesday proved that.

There's things I can fault President Trump with and have.
The latest was appointment of the wicked Wizard of OZempic, doctor OZ. However, I cannot see how he is to blame for the guvment shutdown. Wasn't that the Democrats that pulled that stunt?

Congress has been getting paid to not work the last 41+ days while federal employees had to work and not get paid. What's wrong with this picture?
