Would it be possible for you to understand the temple in spirit and truth? If you could get your mind to take on this part of scripture, you would see the connection between the temple that contained the arc and the temple in our heart. One gives the literal that explains the spiritual, the other is the same teaching but the temple is our heart. With this understanding your posts about the new covenant could be truth and teaching instead of false.

And Christ in me is how I can recognize Christ in others except when 1 Corinthians 13:1 applies.

Seems the ministry of the Spirit is not more glorious to some,

for they fear it diminishes the glory of the ministry that produced death.

I recognize the Holy Spirit in others because of the indwelling Holy Spirit in me.

Yes, that is Christ's new covenant law of Mt 22:37-39; Gal 5:6.

You can only explain it in so many ways, otherwise His ministry remains just a doctrine to squabble over and not Life itself...

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Romans 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

What you fail to understand is that there has been only ONE MAN to KEEP the word of God to the extent that he was blameless before God, that being Jesus...You also fail to understand that NOT ONE MAN can KEEP THE LAW to the fullest extent and that it took a BETTER covenant to secure SALVATION and JUSTIFICATION before GOD...I could easily say to people like you who PUSH the LAW and GRACE....WOULD TO GOD you would open your eyes and fully UNDERSTAND the COMPLETED WORK of CHRIST and what it has accomplished for mankind under the banner of grace and faith!

And to answer your question....BY THE KEEPING OF THE LAW THERE SHALL NO FLESH BE JUSTIFIED IN HIS SIGHT FOR BY THE LAW IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN! THERE IS NO LAW TO BE KEPT THAT WILL GAIN ETERNAL LIFE AND OR JUSTIFICATION as it is a FREE GIFT through GRACE and is based upon faith which is a spiritual GIFT!

God thought so. . .a better covenant not based on the law of Moses, which replaces the covenant based on the law of Moses,
and is based on Christ's new covenant law (Mt 22:27-39) which fulfills the law (Mt 22:40; Ro 13:8-10; Gal 5:6).

The problem with your and Elin's speaking of truth is that you have so often said that the truths you tell of only mean that it is to cancel other truths. Your posts are all about even the saved person being free from performing anything of law, about living for Christ is carnally minded for you cannot do something physically with the spirit, and how our body is only dead we should already have physical death to live for Christ.

Only if it's a dreamer's god.
If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.

Some live by a few verses in the bible. He teaches man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

You are saying that God made a mistake with the law He gave to Moses and had to come up with a new plan...and that just ain't so. The Great I AM does not make mistakes!

I'm not Elin, but I have a problem when we take the New Covenant and try to make it fit the Covenant of Moses. Why did Jesus" call it a "New" Covenant? God didn't make any mistakes. He created a New Covenant because the Covenant of Moses had been made impossible for his people to keep, and to bring the Gentiles into the Kingdom. If we begin adding to the New Covenant the same type of rules that made the Covenant of Moses impossible to keep, it becomes as useless as the Covenant of Moses had become. Does God want that? I don't think so!

There is a certain confusion saying the law of Moses doesn't all apply to the law of Christ and then saying that the law of God is the same as the law of Christ, and excluding the law God gave to Moses. I cannot grasp that, for Moses didn't write his own law. Go figure. :confused:
