Your disdain for other believers is well noted as it is spoken of often.

My disdain is for false gospels, including the Calvinist version. What Christians do or believe is between them and God.

Good question.

You must understand that a timeline is being applied here- when to do what and when to wait for what; it is the timeline that was prophesied by Daniel that everything in this world falls into, until the end of the age. Even at some point, satan (Antichrist) is held for a while so that something is accomplished first.

I won't go through the whole timeline but you need to understand that by the time of Jesus' death and resurrection we are only left with the last 7 (of the 70 weeks). Jesus sent His disciples and their apostles to preach the gospel to the whole world in the first half of this 7. Satan was held until the gospel was preached to the whole world and then was released for the last 3.5 years (figurative) of the last 7. The first order of events was to pursue the two witnesses (disciples & apostles) and kill them.
The Matthew 10 command by Jesus was before the last week/7 (of the 70 weeks).
The gospel is one and the same but times and seasons are the reason.

The first sixty-nine weeks ended the Jesus rode into Jerusalem. Since that time we have been in a Gap of almost 2000 years between the 69th week and the 70th week.

Is this written in Daniel 9....It certainly is......

Yes, they fully believed that the "Kingdom of Heaven"(what will now be the Millennium as we know of it) would manifest itself within that time period. Then they went an did a stupid thing...Actually three stupid things.

For they turn down God the Father by killing John the Baptist. He was sent here for one purpose, to prepare(repent) and wash (Baptize) Israel in preparation for the coming of their Messiah. Mat 21:23-27

They crucified Jesus because HE dare allowed them to call Him KING among other things......Mark 15:11-14

And they Stoned Steven (Holy Spirit within) who in no uncertain terms told them just how foolish they had been. Acts 7:51-53

It is an opinion of mine that if they had listened to Steven, repented and accepted Jesus as their Messiah even though He was had been killed; Jesus was ready to come back to earth at that time.

Wy do I say this.....because just before they took Steven out to stone him, He saw Jesus STANDING at the ride hand of GOD....Where before He was seated at the Right Hand of GOD.

Again this is just an opinion of mine and should not sway one one way or the other about the 3 times the Jewish People rejected GOD and God's WORD.

I know a lot of people on this forum that reject the WORD of GOD to the point they would remove 3/5 ths of the Bible if they could. From Genesis Chapter 12 to Acts 2 would be gone....In addition, all but the last four or five verses of Revelation would also be removed.

Not a tangent. It is vital to understand the difference. Maybe you'd like to answer. What were the disciples preaching in Matthew 10? Was it the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin? That's the gospel message you have trusted, right? 1 Cor. 15:3-4

Here's why your reference to 1 Cor 15:1-4 is off on a tangent.

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Mt 10:7).

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. (Lk 9:2)

It is clear from the context that both Matthew and Luke are describing the EXACT SAME THING. But Matthew used "the kingdom of heaven" consistently while Luke used "the kingdom of God" consistently. For whatever reason, that is how God wanted them to write about the exact same thing. So in other words, your theory has fallen flat.

When the New Testament begins Jesus comes into the world and the Jews remember that God promised them that he would restore His physical kingdom as talked about earlier in the article. Jesus preached about both the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God(John 4:24). He preached about both because he can rule both at the same time, which explains why he talks about them with conjunction with each other sometimes in the Gospels. The Kingdom of Heaven was put off for Israel because they rejected Jesus as King and chose a Gentile king instead.

John 19:15 "But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar."

Jesus Christ prophesied that the Kingdom of God would be inside his saints in Luke 17:20-21. Later on, Paul told Christians that they were now working in the Kingdom of God(Romans 14:17-18, Colossians 1:13, 4:11). The spiritual kingdom that Adam lost was now back for the Christians after being Born Again.

Luke 17:20 "And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."

During the Millennium at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, both the Kingdom of God and Heaven will be on the earth. Jesus will reign physically on this earth and also spiritually.

Revelation 11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

Revelation 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

So remember, the two kingdoms are different. The Kingdom of God is spiritual and the Kingdom of Heaven is physical. Remembering these two facts will help you understand more things in scripture once you start looking for the occurrences of these phrases. Failing to realize the difference can lead Bible readers in doctrinal errors, such as Christians losing their salvation, working for their salvation and even going through the Tribulation.

Agree with you...It is the reason people on both sides see the very actions of Jesus following His resurrection in Mat 28:18-20 in a different very controversial light. Especially when it comes to the part about Baptism.
