Personally never believed politicians/political parties have the power, let alone the ability, to do what they say on the tin. I'm still a newish Christian, late March '24 awakening but realising the world is currently ruled by Satan, made sense of all the evil and madness to me. it put an end to my many moments of cognitive dissonance regarding international/global politics in particular.

Really love being free of the delusion the current system is designed for our well-being, however i don't think politicians are wicked people. Think it likely they were made an offer they didn't refuse when very young adults, then compromised in some way so now they can't. That's unless they're ok with the pooh hitting the fan for them and their families.

Human politicians definitely warrant the get-out clause from my point of view, i think the sayings "walk a mile in my shoes" and "there but for the grace of God go i" are relevant. Really appreciate knowing the Lord is the only solution, so never feel the disappointment when a favourite politician or political party proves to be a paper tiger.

Yes that is correct, the wealthy are not conservative by any stretch of the imagination.

It has been set up to flow the money upwards for a long time, government subsidies being one method, is that not redistribution of wealth as well, only in the reverse of what socialism supposedly does ... hmm.

Yes, I'm aware of RINO. But Conservatives have not compromised the way the Dems have compromised. Dems have compromised so far that you cannot be a Christian and a Dem at the same time. If Kammy was in office today, we'd be living in a Communist country.

The Dem party folded like a card table. I'm not sure if I'm shocked, it certainly happened quickly. Dems and Conservatives may have to forget their many differences to fight to keep Communism out of the country. I just watched the Reagan movie again. It's spooky how history repeats itself.

People like me are in the minority, however, it's great many more now see through divisive labels like Communism. Which are designed to distract/cause enmity between ordinary people, instead of us keeping an eye on those we really should be questioning.

It's the wealthy Repubs that have ruined NY is it. smh Then why is Hochul crying for them to come back?

The only difference between the Donald and Bernie Sanders is Bernie wants to actually do something that will help ordinary Americans. At this point, Donald isn't really even pretending to care about us.

The biggest difference between Trump and Bernie is that Bernie's failure as a populist is already complete.

Why in the world -even as a socialist- would you endorse the globalist Democrat elite? There is no way that Bernie didnt know that Biden would depress real wages with immigration and hyper-inflative monetary policy.

So, no- Bernie sold out his supporters- and that's why a handful of them voted for Trump... which is a start. What the left-wing populists need to be doing is giving up on their crappy socialist taxation economics in favor of working on free-market regulatory policy that lends itself toward more equitable results.

Hochul wants those who moved to Palm Beach "wall street south" to come back, because they paid boat loads of NY taxes. Back in 2022 those people moved because they found out they could still continue to make wall-street money without being physically present in NY. Those people are never coming back; because they probably never actually wanted to physically be here in the first place.
Other high wage-earners moved to Connecticut or New Jersey, suggesting taxes/politics was not a factor.

And yes, the Wall Street types that are Republicans just because its the party that advocates for low taxation.... are bad for NY! Think about it... the taxes they paid just went toward Democrat policies and programs. We don't need "republican" stock-traders; we need actual conservatives who want to be productive members of society
