I suspect we will have glorified voices in heaven. Even I will be able to sing in tune and on pitch.

Here is a question: Was Jesus made like us "in every way" Heb 2:17 or was He not made like us in every way?
Jesus is fully man and Full God .
The foundational Book to read would be the Gospel of John starting with Chapter 1. To understand Who Christ is we get the greatest in sight from the Gospels why?
1. They were Eye witnesses
2. They had the Holy Spirit helping to know who Jesus is
3. Their words are recoded and authoritative.
4. The recoded the Teachings of the Lord Jesus.
it would to be a good thing to read chapter one with chapter 2 of Hebrews for authorial intent
The main theme of Hebrew is :
1. Christ as our great high priest
2. He is out intercessor
3. His heavenly ministry at the Right hand of God
4. God has spoke to us in the last day by Christ God has ordain it to be
5. Jesus is everything God wants to say to us
6. completeness and fullness of His sacrifice
7. outside Christ there is nothing but death.

Chapter 3- Superiority of Jesus to moses

Jesus was made like us yet without sin. Jesus was made like Adam before the fall. Jesus as second Adam redeemed sinful man.

But it doesn't say He was made like us...yet without sin. You are tying those two phrases together from separate verses. It says He was tempted in all points as we are, yet without sin. That means He never sinned by giving into temptation. Therefore, to make your cut and paste more accurate it should say: He was made like us in everyway, yet He never committed a sin.
We are not born like Adam was before the fall therefore your opinion of Jesus makes him different from not just like us in every way.
Jesus was made like His brethren in the flesh. Jesus was born of Mary and a Jew. Jesus was made like us according to the flesh. His divine nature allowed Jesus to be tempted in the flesh and not to sin. Where first Adam failed in the flesh second Adam resisted sin.
Jesus could not have a nature corrupted by sin. So in that point Jesus could not be like us until His death on the cross when He took upon Himself our sin.

As I said, that makes your Jesus different from us. There is no reason Jesus couldn't have been exactly like us in our condition and still not sin.
I have already debated this subject in another thread. My purpose here was to get an answer on Heb 2:17 and you answered that Jesus was not like us "in every way" but like Adam was before the fall.
Well Jesus was different from us in that He was not conceived in sin. Jesus had no earthly father. The need and necessity of the virgin birth. So He was not exactly like is but He was a spotless Lamb prepared to be offered for our sin. The lamb for the blood sacrifice had to be spotless. Not just a good lamb but without spot or blemish.
Not to argue but just something to consider.

LOl That is a very profound question . Unfoutuately the word " Belly Button" is not in the english tranlation , nor is in the Greek or Hebrew . So we really do not know however, the context of Creation of man & women does suggest they did not because Medically Belly Buttons (navel), or tummy-button as it's sometimes called, is a sign that you were once attached to your mother. the umbilical cord from her body as you developed inside the womb. Gen account does not show Adam and Eve coming by way of the will of man as did Cain and Able from sexual relation.

in everything we see in the Word of God , nothing is to be focusing on being lost after you are saved. This thought process should not be in the Christians vocabulary. God is fully committed you keeping you from failing and to see you saved. Ron 6 to 8 Tells us that our mind set is to consider us dead to sin and alive in Christ. The argument of if you are truly saved can you become lost , or is one saved always saved. This topic is only asked by those who say they are saved. Can you tell me what is edifying about that?
