Well it's sad what's going to happen to those that teach heresies such as so called once saved always saved.

Heresy is one of the works of the flesh and is on God's list of things causing people to not be accepted in to God's Kingdom

These people are going to find out that their disobedience will land them in hell.
You haven't provided actual evidence to support your slander.

The young man went away sad because He didn't recognize Love right in front of him because he was going on the definition of the world's twisted exhibition of love which says you have to be perfect to deserve it, that you have to earn it (even though they know this is an impossible task and, deep down, they just want an excuse to hate you).
While I disagree with SabbathBlessing on some major theological points, he got this one correct because he quoted Scripture. Your explanation is touchy-feely fluff that ignores Scripture. If Scripture provides an explanation for an action, it's usually best not to reframe it into something else. ;)

He offered the clinical prognosis of the situation, my opinion is holistic :sneaky:

I don't know, this is what the Scripture says, which is what I like to stick with.

Mat 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Yes, he loved things. He was a thing lover.

Yes, his great possessions over being a follower of Christ.
Right, He didn't love Jesus, the Christ, and scripture tells us that Jesus loved him. This provides addition insight, in example as far as Jesus' commandment to love as Jesus loved since He also said, "You love me because I first loved you," with regard to the argument that "Jesus doesn't love those that reject Him."

I already stated Jesus loves everyone and wants to save everyone, not everyone accepts, like the rich young ruler as he placed his great possessions over Jesus. There are lessons for us in this passage.

It's so nice now that we've found a point of agreement. :D

The tares teaching so called once saved always saved believe God is pleased with disobedience and the Lord is all good with Christians living in sin.

This is why these people go around arrogantly and very proudly proclaiming they are sinners because they still live in sin and enjoy it so much.

They don't understand that Christians are called to be new creatures in Christ having died to sin as in not living in sin any longer thru the power of the Holy Spirit.

But the so called once saved always saved people enjoy sin so they must keep the door open for them to engage in some sinful behavior while trying to claim they are still saved which is in error.

This is why these tares claim God lied in Ephesians 2:10, but this can be expected from those that don't accept all the Lord teaches in His Word. This is commonly known as CPS (cherry pickers syndrome) which is a disease that inflicts tares

polly ester man

Luke 6:46
Why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not do the things which I say?

The tares are not real believers and so they reject the leading of the Holy Spirit based on the whole counsel of God as they continually claim proudly with great arrogance that that they are

Yeah the co called once saved always save people believe they can sow to the flesh (live in sin) and not

And then they claim God CAN be mocked, they falsely believe they do not reap what they sow in that they can sow to the flesh and not reap corruption

2 Timothy 2:12
If we deny Him, He also will deny us

They claim even if a person turns away from the Lord to go back to living in sin they are still saved.

They teach this doctrine of demons because they are being led by demons

Their end is bad, very very bad.

Paul is not actually recognized as an Apostle to vassal and his buddies. He does not recognize Paul's letters as authoratative and believes that Paul presents a different gospel.

He believes the only authority are the words spoken by Jesus but fails to understand those words were all prior to Jesus cruxcifixion and that everything changed after Jesus was resurrected.

So, we end up with constantly being told the 10 commandments are the covenant when Jesus, even at the 'last supper' said the covenant was through His blood. That is significant because those are the words of Jesus before any of Paul's letters, BUT, they contradict the belief of vassal and some others that the commandments are the covenant.

So, there are groups that do not give Paul any credence and say that is because Paul's gospel is not Jesus gospel.

Unless you understand this, you will continue to try and convince vassal et al that he is wrong. Has it made any difference so far?

The covenant was ratified by His blood, the covenant is God's laws written in the heart Heb8:10. Without blood a covenant could not be ratified.

Paul's writings is very much Scripture, but in the inspired Scripture we were warned what people would do with them

2Peter 3: 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

This is a salvation warning so his writings should be carefully and prayerfully studied and not make something Jesus said was made for mankind, make Paul teach is against mankind. Pauls Scriptures should be harmony with Christ, not against what He taught. We are not baptized in Paul's name, its not Pauls laws written in the NC believers heart, Paul can't save us, he can only lead us to Jesus and would never countermand what Jesus taught.

And so you need to make sense of Paul’s words rather than dismissing them.

This has been covered so many times, people reading the responses that negate your religion, should have learned all the scripture off by heart. Yet here you are again, telling us we are doomed if we do not worship the Sabbath...or worship on the Sabbath as you put it.

You are no Bible scholar and your presentations conveniently leave out anything you cannot connect to what you believe. FYI, YOU and those like you, are the people doing things with Paul's letters.

I honestly find the contortions of your posts and a few others here, to be sickening at this point.

Jesus did not shed His blood so you and other hypocritical religious non-participants in the actual new covenant, could make up your own religion, yet, much like the religious leaders of Jesus day, that is exactly what you have done and you do not appear to have one single pause in your constant dripping of religious gobble de gook.

You are simply against Paul and dismiss him which you do while pretending you think he is hard to understand. Jesus is the
way, the Truth and the Life; not the commandments.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

Jesus is our salvation and there is NO OTHER way to God. So, that would mean that anyone saying the commandments are the covenant (just about blasphemy IMO) do not have a way to the Father.

That's some serious stuff right there.

So, that would mean that anyone saying the commandments are the covenant (just about blasphemy IMO

This is God speaking, and to relate it as "blasphemy"

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Jesus is the truth, the life, the way and to relate what Jesus asks of those who love Him to do John14:15 as against Him is nonsense

The Apostles under the leading and anointing of the Holy Spirit accepted Paul as an Apostle

He believes the only authority are the words spoken by Jesus but fails to understand those words were all prior to Jesus cruxcifixion and that everything changed after Jesus was resurrected.

He believes wrongly and does so with the assistance of demons

Luke 16:16
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Apparently he is claiming Jesus is a liar which of course is what demons do.
