I'm sorry too Robo. After re-reading my post, I find it could sound as though I was upset when I wrote it. Not the case!! Just wanted to point out what I meant. :)
 
Isn't the point of temptation (sex before marriage) supposed to make it worth it to wait? If kissing was truely evil, then why isn't IT a sin? In my eyes if you want to, go ahead and kiss. Just remember that the point of temptation is for the devil to try and make you fall. Your job as a Christian is to stay standing. So kiss all you want, just don't fall.

Oh sheesh!!! :confused: Now I don't know whether to:

1. laugh.....cuz even when young, I wouldn't have thought of myself as a teenie bopper....hahhaha!!! :p

2. be complimented.....cuz it's been a while since I was young enough to BE a teenie bopper!!! :) or......

3. Be insulted......cuz..seriously..do I sound that immature on here?? (I do seem to get taken the wrong way a bit!!) :(

This is just my opinion, but if God’s number one in my life, I’m going to do everything I can to please Him, in my relationships and everything else. There’s obviously nothing wrong with getting married. "It’s better to marry than to burn with passion." (1 Corinthians 7:9) But Scripture over and over warns against fornication, and commands us as Christians to dwell on what is pure and upright. (I guess I've never struggled with this, but I'm sure even just simple kissing could be a stumbling block for a lot of Christians. It doesn't necessarily invoke 'pure' thoughts...)

Also… We all know that we're supposed to’ love one another as ourselves’. If you really, truly love someone, wouldn't that motivate you to strengthen them in their walk with Christ? Will your kissing them before they’ve married either you or anyone else make them a better person in the future?

Well Nanabean, my excuse.. umm

Well I just kinda felt called by God to speak some sense into these young'ns :)
 
I think I would save my first kiss for marriage. It would'nt be that bad. It would be special and with the one that I want to be with for the rest of my life!!!!
 
I mean, we're supposed to pray "Lord lead us not into temptation."

So, you pray for God to not lead you into temptation...... and then you go put yourself in temptation...... what sense does that make?

Or am I the only one who would be tempted from kissing/smooching/making-out/whatever?? :D

I was just wondering--I'm assuming then that your first-ever kiss was at your wedding? In front of your guests? How was it? Scary or intimidating?
