Halloween is very American.
Harvest festival. That was what we used to celebrate when I was a child. It was carried over from an earlier time.
We would bring non-perishable food items to school or church to be donated to those in need.
Happy Celtic New Year! 1st November. My dad could say it in Gaelic but I can't remember how.
I could google it but probably couldn't pronounce it. :)

The Manx celebrate it too - considered the oldest tradition on the Island, but its been mingled with the American Halloween. The Manx know it as "Hop tu Naa" - a celebration of the Celtic "new year" - really the onset of the dark half of the year marked with a lot of traditional music and dance.
