I know I've seen threads about Christian Chat get-togethers in different places. I was thinking London might be a good place for a get-together, because it would be somewhat centrally located for those of us living in the USA and those living in Eurupe. Perhaps it wouldn't be so convenient for those living in other parts of the world, though.
 
Yes, Yours Truely doesn't have funds to travel to Kentucky, let alone Norway... LOL, but I would trust the Lord for a little get-together fellowship in Dublin, Ireland. :)
 
Why specifically Dublin????

(not that I mind though, I'd love going to Dublin).
 
There is a lot of religious tension in Ireland, isn't there, between Catholics and Protestants? I wonder if it would be safe to have a Christian Chat get-together there.
 
That would be Northern Ireland, the other half is safe as far as I know.

Just look out for goblins
 
I don't know, we got some things called "nisser" by old folklore, that are small, mean, dangerous people. But I've never met a goblin.
I guess I should bring my sword just in case
 
It would be fun if someday all of us could get together somewhere. London? New York City? Dublin? I'd like it to be somewhere that people speak English, selfish as that is, since I speak no other language.
 
lol, people in Norway, Sweeden, Denmark, Netherlands and Belgium speak Enlgish quite well. In Germany it depends a lot how old they are.
But sure, England/ Ireland/ Scotland is good with me
 
It should be planned well. It would be expensive for everybody, so it likely would be the only opportunity for everyone to see everyone. I think I would prefer England/Scotland/Ireland.
 
it will probably cost me more to get there than you with the prices here :p

we have to wait until I've worked a year or so, or I can't afford it
 
There was one planned for August a couple years ago in Florida. I couldn't commit to going because I didn't have a job then. I really really wanted to go. As far as I know, several CCers are going to James and Chantals wedding in August of this year. There's gonna be a special table just for us. I get to sit next to Bella2005. She's one of the first people I met here.
 
Is it called a "convention" when people get together like that? How many people would come if it were held in England or Scotland or Ireland?
