What is your understanding of the protestant reformation?
Do you see the leading of God?
Has this history been forgotten? Is it being forgotten on purpose?

They were born out of divorce and adultery. So, it is no wonder why they are very famous harlots. As is the mother, so is the daughter.

The Catholic Church has always been a self-indulgent political harlot...

I am not being metaphorical. As for the Catholics, well they're idolators. That doesn't make the whores of the protestants any good though. Aholah and Aholibah, they are sisters.

I think that "Reformation" Period (as it was on ongoing thing, as opposed to a one-and-done thing) ranks right up there with most of the other things that mankind has done throughout history... some good aspects, some not so good.

That Christians moved away from many "heretical" teachings (and actions) of the Roman Catholic Church was a really, really good idea. But as always, many/most(?) of the newer denominations carried along some with them quite a few of those teachings, at least in essence, of the RCC. And still do so today... even while they rail on about the RCC as being from the "devil". lol

I do not think that history has either been forgotten or being forgotten "on purpose. However, the RCC does tend to obscure a lot of it's "darker" mistakes. Still, all-in-all, the history is still out there if you look for it.

you know both sides killed each other over the reformation in the catholic Protestant wars it seems like both sides had missed the point that killing people because they have a different faith wasn’t the right way to go about it within the true church

“My God is better than your God.” The Thirty Years War (1618-48) fought between Protestants and Catholics in Central Europe killed an estimated 2 million to 4 million people.”

they went to physical war with each other killing millions of believers whether catholic or Protestant and they all claimed to be the true church “denomination”

it seems they forgot about a kingdom divided and at war with itself cannot stand and about loving your enemies and about doing no harm to anyone and about patience and doctrine of Christ

Clearly you have issues with protestants, but you're just venting your spleen here. How about being clear and specific.

Well what is not clear to you? They are all whores, adulterers, divorcees, feminists, and homosexuals. Quite literally, not metaphorically. It's not exactly a secret.

I asked for clear and specific. You have just spewed a bunch of generalized c**p with absolutely no supporting evidence.

Do you attend a local church at all? If so, is it part of a denomination?

I don't know how I can be more specific for you. Just go look at them, it's not hidden at all.

Yes. The Catholic organisation had become utterly corrupt. It wielded worldly power. It suppressed any dissent with complete ruthlessness. God always has a remnant of the faithful. Luther and Zwingli saw the corruption and made a stand against it. It took a lot of courage to do that.

The reformation saved the true church. The reformation is not complete and there are aspects that are not godly, such as the divisions and denominationalism that came with freedom of thought and worship. God will have His church because Lord Jesus is the builder, not Rome or any other man. At the same time, God works through men who are willing to cooperate with Him. Luther and Zwingli were such men.

You need to be careful who you are calling idolators and whores. I draw a distinction between Catholicism and Catholics because I know that some Catholics are born again. That makes them members of the body of Christ. Anyone, of any or no denomination, is a member of the Church if they are born again. Maybe even you!

Lord Jesus said that He makes no distinction between believers and Himself. When you call a born again Christian a whore or an idolator, you are saying the same of the Lord Jesus. God does not take kindly to that.

I am not uncareful with what I have said.

None of them have been born again, they are liars. They don't even understand what being born again means.

The Lord Jesus Christ will put their entire kingdom to the Sword, praise Jesus!

What is your understanding of the protestant reformation?
About 1260 years after the birth of Constantine, the Great Bible, the Old and New Testaments, were published and authorized to be read in churches in england. The testaments were transported to the americas and birth the first Christian republic http://www.essentialchristianity.com/21917.
Powered by Deism and the Enlightenment, unitarianism and congregationalism was returned to Christianity.
But along came universalism on a pale horse.

Do you see the leading of God?
All prophecies fulfilled lead to God.

Has this history been forgotten? Is it being forgotten on purpose?
The whore is drunk and cannot remember straight. God keeps her and her minions hung over so they can fall away.

Dodge. All you have is slander… and you haven’t answered my question.
It is not a dodge, you just don't like the answer. What do you want me to detail for you what fornication, adultery, homosexuality, and feminism are? How can I be more specific for you?

Who are "they"? I'm born again and am non denominational. Satan is the accuser of the brethren.
1 John 3:
14We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. The one who does not love remains in death. 15Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that eternal life does not reside in a murderer.…

"They" are the people with that doctrine. No, sorry to break it to you, you have not been born again. Nicodemus didn't understand either that Jesus was talking about the resurrection.

For over a thousand years since the fall of the Roman Empire, Christianity had been the Roman Catholic's intellectual property. Everything changed during the black plague, Vatican's power was greatly weakened afterward, its authority was challenged, and there came the Protestant reformation. The protest was not against any theology, but corruption - the selling of indulgence, basically not much different from selling livestocks and exchanging currencies in the Temple, if not worse. The Protestant reformation broke RCC's monopoly. From there on, everyone was granted access to read and teach God's word.

Also, according to some interpretation of the seven churches in Rev. 2-3, those seven churches represent seven successive historic periods, of which the reign of RCC in Europe was the Thyatira church, reformation movement was Sardis the Dead Church, then the colonial period was the Philadelphia Church, from Woodrow Willson till the second coming, though, is the Laodicea Church, the last period we're living in.
