In this post we will look at some things that are over looked by many. Though they are in front of us, and hold meaning. However as we have seen in past threads, and past post in this thread, some words are over looked to find the meaning one wishes to put forward. Yet at times a passage may seem to hold nothing of real significance, so it is not looked at in detail. Here we are going to look at this, and see just how it can change ones understanding of the Word, as well the tradision of some.
Jhn 18:6As Jesus said "I AM he," they all drew back and fell to the ground!
In this passage we find something that holds a lot of telling things. First we see that when Yeshua said, I AM, everyone took a step back, and fell to the ground. Some will make the claim this was do to the use of the name Yahovah, and the power of His true name. However, their is a 3rd teaching on this. You see some follow the understanding that the use of His name opened their eyes, then they understood Yeshua, and Yahovah were indeed one and the same. In some translations, this reads simply I AM. You decide.
Jhn 18:33Then Pilate went back into his headquarters and called for Jesus to be brought to him. "Are you the king of the Jews?" he asked him.
Jhn 18:34Jesus replied, "Is this your own question, or did others tell you about me?"
Why would Yeshua ask this? That answer becomes a bit more clear as we look to Pilates answer.
Jhn 18:35"Am I a Jew?" Pilate retorted. "Your own people and their leading priests brought you to me for trial. Why? What have you done?"
As a Jew Pilate may have been looking to understand if Yeshua fulfilled the prophecy of the foretold Messiah. After all, every Hebrew was looking for Him to come, and remove Rome from Israel.
Jhn 19:19And Pilate posted a sign on the cross that read, "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews."
Jhn 19:21Then the leading priests objected and said to Pilate, "Change it from 'The King of the Jews' to 'He said, I am King of the Jews.'"
I once asked, why did the sign bother them some much? In reply I was told that the first letter of each word spelled out the 4 letter name of HaShem. However, I have found that to be untrue, as best I can anyway. However, as I am no linguist, please don't place a lot of hope in that.
Jhn 19:29A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips.
The hyssop branch may not mean much to most. However the hyssop is used in cleansing. It was also used in the first Passsover, to place the blood on the doors.
Jhn 19:40Following Jewish burial custom, they wrapped Jesus' body with the spices in long sheets of linen cloth.
How many of you know anything of the Jewish burial customs? We have put together a short list for the purpose of looking at this passage. I am sure some will find this to be of interest.
The body is washed head to toe, then wraped in the prayer shoal of the one being buried. The shoal is then sown around the body. However as we know Yeshua's shoal had been taken, so they would have used what was at hand. Please make note of the use of the word SHEETS, as in more than one.
Jhn 20:7while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying apart from the other wrappings.
As we see, there was one peace that was set aside from the rest. It was folded. So why point this out? It was a custom if you came to my house to eat, and left the napkin folded on the plate, I know not to ask you come abck ever again. If it was waded up on the plate, I know you would come again if asked. By folding the face covering, Yeshua was saying, "Ok this wasn't fun at all, I will never return here again."
In the end, though not much was changed, it is clear that Yeshua understood His place. He used the name Yahovah when speaking of Himself, as well as making it clear He was human as well.

If you have followed up to this point, you may have made note that I used HaShem in the last post. It has nothing to with anything more than respect. You see in the Jewish way of respecting, and keeping the 4 letter name Holy, it should never be used in a place where it may be deleted, removed, or forgotten. So if any Jewish person is reading, we should show respect to them, and their ways. I know that this is not a place where the Jewish people, their understanding, or any part of their ways are respected. I find that sad for many reasons. The most importent reason is that if we wish to understand Yeshua, and do our best to walk as He walked, then the Jewish understanding is something we must embrace. After all, He is Jewish, and followed Torah in it's perfection. Hard to do if we know nothing about how He lived His life.

I see that by asking straight forward questions I have offended you sensibilities. As to any assumptions I might have made, you only had to give explanation as to my enquiries. However it is quite clear, that you wish to expound but not further explain your reasoning- just as you entirely dodged those questions.

So be it.. go your way in peace.
I think if you read the post from when you left until this one, you find your answer. I in way intended to run you off, it is just that when I answer a question and more on, I have good reason. In this case, the best answer was not a short one.

As I said we would look at judgement after we looked at who is who, it is time to get to that topic again. Though we will not enter into the broader definition of the word, rather look closely at the final judgment of man kind, the angles, and who is the judge of who.
Psa 9:7But the LORD shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment.
Psa 9:8He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.
Some will hold to the idea that as a god Yeshua will judge man kind. As anyone that has followed this threat knows, we see Yeshua and HaShem as one and the same. However we also hold the human side of Yeshua is as much flesh and bone as we are. This understanding does hold some draw backs however. As it forces one to rethink much o what they thought they know in a new light. As we know the finial judgment is one the places one must seek to find to new balance. This has been done with great care, and much prayer on our part.
In the above passages it is clear that HaShem will sit in judgment over the earth, and those that live in uprightness. However, we did find one thing that brought about a twist in what we thought we knew.
Mat 7:21"Not everyone who calls out to me, 'Lord! Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.
Mat 7:22On judgment day many will say to me, 'Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.'
Mat 7:23But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God's laws.'
As we said in an earlyer post, this should give us all reason to question what we think we know. As we undertook this line of thought, (as we always do) we searched the Word for an understanding that would stand any test of scripture. As it stands, we know there is much work yet to be done on this topic. So as you read this, we are seeking a better understanding than what will be seen here.
As of now, we think what we see is a 2 fold judgment. First those who walk after Yeshua will be judged by Yeshua. If He finds us worthy, and our name is in the book of life, we enter heaven with no need of further judgment. Yet if Yeshua tells us He never know us, we then face HaShem for His judgment on us.
There is a lot more to follow, so we now give time for you to give your insight. When we return we will look at how we came to the understanding we now hold, and by the time this is done, we may find need to revice some of that. After all, we know we are not purfect, and can learn from study, even if it is something we now think we know. I do ask that everyone reading this please pray that we are lead to a clear, and unimpeacable truth on this topic. Please understand, this is not a call to pray that we forget what we think know and adopt your understanding. We are asking that everyone pray for His truth to become clear for us all to see, and understand.

My last post on this thread unless someone finds they have a question. After all, this post will close with the only true way to learn, and study. Though it may take 2 post.
First however we must return to the 2 forms of judgment yet to come. After all we did spend many post in looking at the who's Who, to form an understanding of this, and said we would return to it. The Word is clear that there will 2 judgments after the 1000 year ruin of Yeshua on earth. The First is
2Co 5:10For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.
Yes we have said and maintain that HaShem is to be our finial judge. However, as the Word is clear Yeshua will judge His followers. So why would a man judge man in their faith? Does a man have the power, wisdom and right to stand in judgment
Jhn 5:26The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life-giving power to his Son.
Jhn 5:27And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man.
Keep in mind this doesn't change how we understand the fact that HaShem is one, and there is no other. To say it does, would set us against the the Truth found in the word as presented in this thread. It does however show us that the human part of Yeshua had to granted the right to judge us. We also find that He was granted this authority due to Him being human, (i.e. the son of man)
We always look at things in ways that link them to our human understanding. In doing so, we found that the sorting hat in Harry potter is a lose, yet fitting analogy. Yeshua will know His followers by their life. Did they truely do their best to walk in the ways I showed them? You see no matter how much person tries to say they don't sin, we know in our hearts that we have, and so must be judged accordingly.
So why the sorting hat?

Jhn 5:28Don't be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of God's Son, Jhn 5:29and they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment.
Done good, so all we need is to do good things and we get to enter heaven? Not really. This is talking of those that have excepted the sacrifice of Yeshua to wash away our sin. Not just in words, rather in deeds. You see there are many times Yeshua tells us, If we love Him, we will follow the commandments. In other words, we will walk in the way He showed us in His own life.
As to the rest, if you have not walked in the ways of Yeshua, He will deny you. Then you will be handed off to HaShem for your judgment. The great White Throne Judgement. Please read Rev. 5:11-15. for time and space we will post just one passage.
Rev 20:12I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God's throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books.
As we have seen, Yeshua will judge us by our exceptance of His sacrifice, if we have truely excepted this, and lived our life as best we can by His example, there will be no need to face the judgment of HaShem. Yet we will still stand before Him as our finial judge. Some do teach that this is wrong, and only those who have not excepted His sacrifice will face HaShem for judgment. However the word does seem to say we all will.

Now on to the right way to learn. There is truly only one way to learn. Form a question and write it down. Then seek every passage that even so much as hints at an answer. Read them for what they say, not for what we wish. As we all know, and have seen in this thread and others we opened. Many passages are over looked, and argued against in an atempt to hold on what we think we know. Others are seen as only one word when the rest of the same passage stands in conflict with said teaching. When we find we are using one passage to dismiss another, we must rethink what we think we know. After all if Paul said one thing, then turned around and said something that in conflict with the first, we have missed what his teaching in one or the other. Just as If Yeshua said something, then Paul said the opposite is true, we misunderstood something, and must then seek to understand them in context with one another. Something I have seen doesn't mater to some. Yet in the end, we will all know if had it right or not. However when standing in judgment isn't the best time to learn the truth. Yet for some, it will be the only time they look at how they may have it right. Others will find that happily they had it right. even if they didn't get every thing 100%, in their life, they worked to find THE TRUTH, and turned away from a truth as told by man kind.
We pray this will find a way to do as HaShem wished it, in the lives of everyone that reads it. Keep in mind the lady that had enough faith in her to be heald by simply touching the hem of Yeshua's closes. If we can pull that kind of faith into our study, nothing will ever be to hard to find THE TRUTH.
