Will you find work once the robot revolution hits? - MarketWatch

Depending on who you ask, automation (i.e. the robots and other advanced AI) will take one third to one half of the available jobs in the United States by 2025.

What are your thoughts on the matter? Is this mere fantasy or wishful thinking on the part of robotic engineers or do you think it is a very real factor?

If the prediction is credible, do you find the idea alarming, comforting, or both? If so, why?

Those are really just primers. Share anything else you have to offer on the subject.
 
If we are here that long I can see it happening.....guess it depends on if the dollar fails and our economy crashes as many around the world are discussing and preparing for the crash of the U.S. economy.......

Given the level of denominational ideology that is preached every Sunday, I'd say it's pretty much a reality today.

Let's just say there is a reason why I left law school and am jumping into technology/engineering.

I am not necessarily brighter than the average person. I just have a very strong instinct for self-preservation. Probably the Jew in me.
