They don't have to. The Salt Lake case compares and contrasts nicely with the Michael Brown case.

If you don't like it, you may opt out of the discussion altogether or simply ignore posts that aren't within your comfort zone.

And what percent of the black persons in churches not only think the N word, but use it on a regular, daily basis? What did TM call Zimmerman shortly before TM died, TM when talking with his chubby girl friend about Zimmerman?

Some blacks who do use the word use it more loosely and can have different meanings.

When whites use it, it's racist.

I'm aware of the double standard, and just because some people insanely think that it's unfair doesn't mean that double standard doesn't exist.

And the desire to break the double standard and say that if blacks and use it, then whites should be able is racist. I mean, who would WANT to use that word anyway?

I think Mr. Atwood's question is not answered in full. He was not only talking about the N-word, also, he was asking of what TM actually did call Zimmermann before TM died. Far as I can recollect from media TM used the Cracker-word. Are we ready to accept that double standard as well?

Do you really think calling someone a "cracker" is just as hurtful as calling someone a "nigger"?

Honestly. I can ask any white person if they were deeply hurt by reminding them about how their white forebearers owned land and people, and I promise you no offense will be taken.

TM was on the phone to his girlfriend, who on the stand ended up being the best witness for the defense, when he told her he was being followed by a "crappy-ass cracker". Which the girlfriend testified was not racist. She also said that, "nigga", is not racist either.
That being said, Treyvon Martin has not a thing to do with this case. Nor are the events at all similar in nature.
So why on earth would they be introduced into this discussion?

All I know is there is a sick, twisted OP in Australia sitting back and having a grand old time watching Christian brothers and sisters insult each other. Meanwhile he lives in an almost completely homogenous country, yet still lobs racial grenades and steps back to enjoy the carnage he created.

Let's all agree to dismantle that persons intent in introducing Martin and stop paying it attention.
Let's keep this on topic and thwart the derail.

Especially as it appears there is an intention to manufacture strife so as to incite Christians to argue with one another regarding racial pejoratives.

I doubt any christian here celebrated the tragic death of Trayvon Martin. We had a huge problem with all the lies associated and promoted by the liberal media and political entities.

Its exactly the same with Brown and Wilson.

Funerals and very politically motivated sermons with grieving parents energizes the emotion based liberal crowds but the problem is, its not reality and in fact in their attempt to energize their base they have caused riots and more racial tensions in the area...

win win for liberal politicians and poverty pimps.

How does it feel to be duped, once again, so politicians can get votes and Sharpton and Jackson can make more money?

Before you listen to another word from this hate-monger understand that his country is 92% White 7% Asian and less than 1% Aboriginal. There are so few blacks in Australia that they don't even register as any percentage at all. It is conceivable that this race- baiter HAS NEVER EVEN MET A BLACK PERSON.
