I used to enjoy going full gear below the keels of big vessels using magnets to attach mock explosives. It was a good training exercise.

WOW.

Civilian life sure does seem boring compared to this!!

Thank you again for your service! 🎖️🪖🙏🏼

I have always been fascinated by Double Dutch and all the amazing tricks they can do:

But seeing as I'm not even coordinated enough for ONE jump rope, there's no way I could ever master two!! 🤪

However I'm more than happy to sit on the sidelines, cheering and acting as a "Bleacher Creature", which was a mascot an artistically gifted student came up with at my Lutheran high school. 😀

This brought back memories of the early 90s when I'd always join Jump Rope for Heart. Did anyone else do that?
Where I live, they'd have it in one of the hangars at the municipal airport. One time, our newspaper took a pic of the event and put the pic in the paper. I was in the pic. I still have that paper lol.

I never have been big on sports. I don't care if I'm better than you or you're better than me, and I can't think of any other reason to spend that much energy on such an activity.
I'd have to say that I'm with Lynx on this one. I hate competing against people. Even with things like board games. I much prefer to try to help others.

I did just join a gym a few days ago though. Not to compete against others, but just to set some goals for myself. No need for anybody to "spot me" with today's equipment, but I wouldn't mind it if somebody else here joined me to workout. I have one person in mind, but it's a secret. 🫢

Ooohhhh...

The Singles Forum loves a good secret admirer mystery!!

If we can round up a few others who are also secretly admiring someone (so that you don't feel "singled" out,) we could be in for some very interesting plotlines... 😎

Oh that doesn't work then, need 4 players for handball, and two of them don't even know how or want to play.

This is as bad as the courtship thread.

Table tennis? Or Ping Pong.

I am not surprised Lynx can't be bothered, however it appears he exercises his thumbs regularly playing video games all night. That's why he naps during the day. Of course!

Yous should play tennis, because there's better chance of scoring love.

According to TennisChampion.org, the original came from either the less like french, loeuf, for "egg" or the shape of 0, or it means you're just playing for the love of the game.

I would've played the indispensable libero defensive specialist in volleyball if I hadn't played before the position was introduced in 1998 by the FIVB (Federation Internationale de Volleyball). I mean, I suspect I might've even inspired the introduction...
and I invite anyone to even try and serve, bump, hit, or spike a volleyball at me. 🏐

...I have some residual obstinance seeping over from the bdf... My apologies. I don't transition well go from here to there and back again, and I get disoriented. But that does bring up the question, why are singles seem to possess so much better sportsmanship? I would've have certainly got at least a bump if not a spike or two in the bdf... 🤔

Maybe we got nothing to protect?

Oh... No no no no. Console players have massive thumbs. I am a laptop gamer. Keyboard plus mouse, not a clunky game controller. PC gamers exercise our entire hands, not just our thumbs.

And I'm actually more of an early to bed, early to rise kind of guy.

Wow never knew.
So do you have two or three screens going at once, one on CC and the others for the video games? Do those video games involve...sports or at least some kind of ball throwing?

Has anyone tried...pickle ball?

Thing is there's too much expenditure for sports..handball only requires a ball. No special racquets or shoes or uniforms/outfits, no nets, no tables, no cues, and it can be played outside or inside if the court is big enough.

You don't need to join a club to play it. You could play it on a driveway all you need is a line and you could chalk the boundary.

Well I have a laptop, see, and then I have this thing called a smartphone. (Actually I have three laptops and, like, seven smartphones, but that's neither here nor there. I don't throw out old tech that I might have a use for someday, because I frequently do find a good use for it.)

So I play a game on the laptop, and I use this thing called a smartphone to check the forum while I'm waiting for something in the game to process.

Working out at the gym with @seoulsearch? I'm all for it! Usually I work out outside by myself either with my own equipment or at the state park, but I think this would be smashing! Funnily enough, I think I've been to the gym once lol. I went with a friend from work. She gave me a tour, we worked out, and then we used the massage chairs. It was a lot of fun! I think it'd be great to work out at the gym again! We'd get our unstoppable Chieftess power going full strong!! 💪💪

Also, I see that archery is listed. Admittedly, I was never really the sporty type. I was more of a strength training or going for hikes kind of a gal. Thus, I'm thankful you expanded the list to including other sports. I'll go with archery. It's always good to work on skills for future battles! I haven't done archery in years, but I enjoyed it and would like to get more into it.
Maybe @Charlesiii would join the Chieftess for some archery? <----<< <----<<
I even already have the equipment!
Wow! Archery! I'm in. :D:cool: Probably would need to clear all civilians out of the line of fire, as I haven't loosed a shot for many a year, but I do have fond memories. Not so fond of the arm bruising, but I guess that is how one develops toughness?

Whangdoodles beware!!! >->-----> >->-----> >->-----> 🦑🦑🦑💭‼️⁉️‼️
