Wow 56 views and no one has commented on it. It had me crying when I first seen it and it still does when I view it again. I've never seen the Spirit move so powerfully before. And the trust the man had in the Lord to do the work in the hearts as he taught the word, without a mention of Jesus until the ground work was he laid the elementary doctrine of Christ, a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

He did not come in and start preaching Christ and Him crucified, that only work with people that know the Law and it's requirements. That's why we have so many unbelievers in the Church today, the Law hasn't taught them about sin. They come because the preacher promises love from God, not forgiveness of sins.

Watch the video, it will pull on your heart and you'll see a
genuine move of the Spirit.

The true gospel message has nothing to do with the Law of Moses. Romans Chapter 2 says that all people whether those that officially have the Law of Moses or not are guilty before God and know within themselves right and wrong.

Romans 2:14-15 (NASB)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves,

[SUP]15 [/SUP] in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them,

The gospel message is the forgiveness of sins being proclaimed because Christ died on the cross for and as us and rose again from the grave.

We have word-for-word accounts of the real gospel being preached. Check it out. Acts 10 and Acts 13. The operative verses are Acts 10:43 and Acts 13:38-39

We bring in the Law if people say they have no sin for with the Law comes the knowledge of sin. People don't need the law preached to them first - they need the gospel.

I read a story of a missionary group that went in to a remote village and spend time teaching them the law of Moses first. When they came back to preach Christ - they were all killed. A warring tribe had come in before the missionaries came back to preach Christ to them and wiped them out. They never did hear the true gospel message. It was a terrible thing.

I can understand with the need for people to know about the love and grace of God for them and I agree with this truth 100%. People need to hear the love our Father has for them and in all that He has done for them in Christ our Lord.

I did love how they responded to the gospel message of Christ Himself. That is an excellent example of believing with the heart what is heard and responding in faith in Christ alone that was bought by His grace.

There was great joy in the city when the preaching of Christ Himself is preached! Great example of it here.

It's a great video. As far as the Law, it's has everything to do with the Gospel. It's not the Gospel, it's what showed us that we can not please God, when the Spirit moves on us in conviction. As Paul put it, it's a tutor to us.

Galatians 3:22-25 "But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. 24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor."

Romans 3:19-20 "Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God.20 For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin."

This is why there so many unregenerate people in the Church today or should I say around the Church today. The message of God loves us is not the Gospel. It's not like it was when I was go to school, they had the 10 Commandments up, we prayed, they taught some about creation and we used to sing hymns. I don't know the name of one of the song/hymn that we used to song, it went, "My eyes have seen the coming of the Lord, then something about the grape of wrath, I can't remember the rest. I didn't even know it was a Christian song until I got saved.

The Law isn't the Gospel but it is a valid part of bring people to know the Lord. I believe if more preachers of the Gospel would use the Law there would be a greater move of God's Spirit. Wesley said when he went into a new city he would preach 90% Law, Then after a period of time he would bring more Gospel when he felt that the foundation had been laid.
Remember that guy didn't even mention the name of Jesus for 2 months, all teach on the OT, which laid the foundation for the Gospel. Jesus didn't have to do this with Israel because they received the Law from God. The apostles always went to the synagogue to preach/teach the Gospel. King Agrippa was familiar with Judaism it's the foundation of Christ's Gospel message.

It makes it so simple when evangelizing, how do you witness to a muslim, show them the 10 Commandments, how do you witness to a gay person, tell them about the 10 Commandments, how do you witness to a hindu tell them about the 10 Commandments. Once I understood the uses of the 10 Commandments in evangelism and how God calls people to His Son. It took the presser one feels when witnessing or at least I felt. I don't have to talk them into saying a prayer, God's going to save them. It's not my job to save them or to figure out who's called and who isn't, I use commanded to evangelize nothing more.

It's life changing when it come to evangelizing.
