first the covenant is defined by God as the ten commandments

we have discussed all this before and I explained all of this before in great detail, and No I am not a legalist far from it.

As for the word fultil have a look in the proper context and find out what it means I have explained this also many times, even recently a few post above probably.
Any letter of the law cannot pass unless all the law is fulfilled.

A ceremonial letter cannot pass unless all the law is fulfilled.

till all be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:18)

Jesus came to fulfill the law.

Once the law is fulfilled then the law is obsolete, has passed.

Any commandment cannot pass unless all is fulfilled.

Unless the law is fulfilled.

Acts 15, is where the Gentiles are given instruction on what to do as Christians.

The Gentiles are told to avoid sexual immorality and nothing about the ten commandments.

The question asked in Acts 15:5 is below.

But some of the sect of the Pharisees who had believed stood up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise
them and to direct them to observe the Law of Moses.

The answer is given in Acts 15:19-20 shown below.

Therefore it is my judgment that we do not trouble those who are turning to God from among the Gentiles,
but that we write to them that they abstain from things contaminated by idols and from sexual immorality
and from what is strangled and from blood.

Lets check the scripture elsewhere to see if the commandment concerning sexual immorality, was taught
by Paul.

1 Thessalonians 4:1-3
Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction
as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more. For you
know what commandments we gave you
by the authority of the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, your
sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality.

Simple gospel and a simple commandment.
Circumcision is not in the Ten Commandments, its in the law of Moses as stated.

The Sabbath is a commandment of God, written by God spoken by God and part of the council for Gentiles and clearly shown in Acts 15:21

So Jesus fulfilled the law so we can worship other gods or steal, or covet? Interesting way of interpreting Scripture.

The line "pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath"
Was Jesus talking about the Jews in AD 70; the desolation of the temple and Jerusalem.

The Jews were told to flee and hope it's not on a sabbath in Luke 21.
But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. Then those who
are in Judea must flee to the mountains
, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who
are in the country must not enter the city; because these are days of vengeance, so that all things which are
written will be fulfilled
. Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days;
for there will be great distress upon the land and wrath to this people; and they will fall by the edge of the sword,
and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until
the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled
.

That's what Jesus was talking about the wrath of God upon Israel.
Yes, this is the destruction of Jerusalem, 70AD- 40 years after the Cross where Jesus Himself indicated the Sabbath would be kept and for eternity thus saith the LORD Isa66:22-23 for all flesh, His saints- Rev14:12 both Jews and Gentiles just one people in Christ we enter His covenant, through faith, sadly many people are not in a Covenant with God Heb8:10 because they won't subject themselves to the terms Rom8:7-8 but He does call on us our of our rebellion Heb3:7-19 if we hear Him.

Yes, but the Sabbath is an invitation to Join ourselves to the LORD

Isa56:6 “Also the sons of the foreigner (Gentiles)
Who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him,
And to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants—
Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And holds fast My covenant—

Why the Sabbath points us to God our Maker Exo20:11 the only God we are to worship Rev14:7. The other spirit doesn't want us to worship God why He attacks the Sabbath so much so which side are we going to join? The LORDS side how He tells us to. Or another voice.

This says nothing about Gentiles were not keeping the Sabbath. The LORD made the invite to everyone Isa56:6 said the Sabbath was made for man, not Jew. We can always reject God's blessings Isa56:2 and sanctification Eze20:12, He won't force it on anyone, but I am not sure what we are without it. Psa 37:22
You need the verses in the N.T that state Gentiles are under the law.

You need the verses that state Gentiles are are under the ten commandments.

Not from the O.T because the O.T asserts that a Gentile must be circumcised to obey the law.

Better still, evidence that Gentiles are members of the old covenant.

The sabbath was made for man but Gentiles are not in covenant to obey the sabbath.

You need the law of the sabbath, the commandment of the sabbath, applied to the Gentiles.

All I see in the N.T is Gentiles are not under the law.

A Gentiles must be circumcised and be living (sojourner) in Israel to join Judaism.

Exodus 12:48
But if a stranger sojourns with you, and celebrates the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised,
and then let him come near to celebrate it; and he shall be like a native of the land. But no uncircumcised
person may eat of it
.

1. Are the Ten Commandments included in the Law of Moses?

Yes. Scripture explicitly places the Ten Commandments within the Law that came through Moses.

Deuteronomy 4:13-14

“So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.
The LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that you might perform them in the land where you are going over to possess it.”

Here the Ten Commandments are part of the covenant, and Moses was commanded to teach the rest of the statutes.

Deuteronomy 5:22

“These words the LORD spoke to all your assembly at the mountain… and He added no more. He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

The Ten Words were the direct spoken covenant words.

Nehemiah 8:1

“All the people gathered… and they asked Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses which the LORD had given to Israel.

Luke 2:22

“according to the Law of Moses

John 7:19

“Did not Moses give you the law?”

The law given through Moses included the commandments written on the tablets.

2. Did Moses write all the words the Lord spoke in Exodus 24?

Yes.

Exodus 24:3

“Then Moses came and recounted to the people all the words of the LORD and all the ordinances.”

Exodus 24:4

Moses wrote down all the words of the LORD.

Exodus 24:7

“Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people.”

Exodus 24:8

“Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words.”

The covenant was therefore based on:

  • all the words of the LORD
  • written by Moses
  • contained in the Book of the Covenant

3. Were the Ten Commandments part of that covenant?

Yes.

Earlier in Exodus:

Exodus 34:28

“He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

So Scripture directly says:

The Ten Commandments = the words of the covenant.

4. Was the covenant with Israel based on all the words?

Yes.

Exodus 24:7

“All that the LORD has spoken we will do.”

Deuteronomy 5:2-3

“The LORD our God made a covenant with us at Horeb. The LORD did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us.

The Sinai covenant was with Israel.

5. Are Gentiles placed under that Law?

The apostles addressed this directly.

Acts 15:5

“It is necessary to circumcise them and to direct them to observe the Law of Moses.

Acts 15:10

“Now therefore why do you put God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?

Acts 15:19-20

“Therefore it is my judgment that we do not trouble those who are turning to God from among the Gentiles, but that we write to them that they abstain from:

  • things contaminated by idols
  • fornication
  • what is strangled
  • blood.”

The apostles decided not to place Gentiles under the Law of Moses.

6. What does Paul say about Gentiles and the Law?

Romans 6:14

“You are not under law but under grace.”

Galatians 5:3

“Every man who receives circumcision… he is under obligation to keep the whole Law.

Galatians 5:18

“If you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.

7. What is the New Testament definition of a “legalist”?

The word “legalist” does not appear in Scripture.
But the behavior described is placing believers under the Law for righteousness.

Galatians 2:16

“A man is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus.”

Galatians 3:10

“For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse.”

Galatians 5:4

“You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law.”

Why the Sabbath points us to God our Maker Exo20:11 the only God we are to worship Rev14:7. The other spirit doesn't want us to worship God why He attacks the Sabbath so much so which side are we going to join? The LORDS side how He tells us to. Or another voice.

What "other spirit" are you referring to? The Holy Spirit?

A Gentiles must be circumcised and be living (sojourner) in Israel to join Judaism.

Exodus 12:48
But if a stranger sojourns with you, and celebrates the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised,
and then let him come near to celebrate it; and he shall be like a native of the land. But no uncircumcised

.
Yes, that was to gain access to the sacrificial system. You do not need to be circumcised to keep the Sabbath. You will not find one verse saying so.

Circumcision is not one of the Ten Commandments, the Sabbath is written by God spoken by God and He Himself tells us how to join ourselves to Him Isa56:6 no circumcision needed, so best not to add what God didn't.

Circumcision is not in the Ten Commandments, its in the law of Moses as stated.

The Sabbath is a commandment of God, written by God spoken by God and part of the council for Gentiles and clearly shown in Acts 15:21
Strange that Acts 15:21 contradicts what you wrote.

Acts 15:21
For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who preach him, since he is read in the
synagogues every Sabbath.

They were preaching Moses every sabbath day.

They were not preaching Jesus and grace in the synagogues.

The ten commandments are in the law of Moses.

Gentiles were commanded not to commit sexual immorality.

Nothing about Gentiles being under the law in Acts 15.

Interesting that in the O.T that circumcision was required for a Gentile sojourner in Israel, to join Judaism.

But in the N.T circumcision is rejected for membership to the law.

A difference between the covenants and the word "grace".

I like Peter's comment here.

Acts 15:21
But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they also are.

Wow. Please stay away from me. Who else believes this?

🕊
Do you really believe the Holy Spirit who wrote the Ten Commandments Exo31:18 is going to teach against what the Holy Spirit wrote for us to keep? And than went and changed one of the commandments of God against what Jesus who is God said not a jot or tittle can pass from the law- heaven and earth would pass before something as small as a dot of an eye or cross of a t. Heaven and earth are still here, so is the law of God exactly how He wrote it, because the one who changed God's times and laws Dan7:25 did so against God's will, that's sadly most follow without even realizing it. We are called to get us back to worshipping our Creator Rev14:7 Exo20:11

Preaching Moses/Scriptures is not the same as it being a commandment of Moses, when God said its one of His commandments Exo20:6 written by God, not Moses Exo31:18 God's works, not Moses Exo32:16

Then those who
are in Judea must flee to the mountains
, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who
are in the country must not enter the city; because these are days of vengeance, so that all things which are

and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until
the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled
.

That's what Jesus was talking about the wrath of God upon Israel.
its a dual prophecy and as well confirms what you deny. in 70 AD they still followed the sabbath and it proves it was not abolished. if you refuse this you refuse Jesus who was God in the flesh and his prophecy that came true ad he described it and will again in a near future, can you read the sings of the times?, i assure you not much longer to wait now, choose a camp choose the right one, follow Jesus and HIS ways, Listen to HIS words.

Inquisitor you really need to work on this, and the significance of fulfill in that verse do not forget there is a condition attached to it, all proving nothing is abolished. Jesus said ""Until the earth.... ""still there! so are his words so are the ten commandments, the covenant.
