Lets look at God's Greatest Commandments
Mat 22:27 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
Which Jesus was quoting OT Deut6:5 Lev 19:18
So they are grounded in OT principles, not new ones.
Jesus said that what He was teaching was it grounded in the written word and nature of God. As I have said previously, Jesus' teaching affirmed the moral Law but went much deeper exposing the thoughts and motives. Whenever Jesus said YOU HAVE HEARD IT SAID, He was alluding to the words of God that which were written in the Tanach. When He added: BUT I SAY TO YOU: He was taking the lamp of truth to the deepest depths of the human heart. For instance, in Matthew 5, for instance, the phrase BUT I SAY TO YOU appears multiple times to clarify the depth, intention, and fulfillment of God’s law.

When He uses this language Jesus was making a pointed contrast between what had been commonly taught or understood and His own authoritative teaching. For instance, Jesus said in Matthew 5:21-22: “You have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘Do not murder,’ and ‘Anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment…” He applies this same formula in verses 27-28, 31-32, 33-34, 38-39, and 43-44. Each instance signals that His teaching not only upholds the Old Testament commands but also reveals their true, heart-centered intention. Modern teachers of Judaism have come to take a different approach - defining sin narrowly as simply a BEHAVIOR. Thus while a person is forbidden from commiting sexual immorality they can imagine sinning and watch porn without guilt.

Unfortunately, none keeps the law anyway, even if they are trying to live under the law.

-"knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified."
Galatians 2:16 NKJV
There are many examples of people who kept the Law of God in the Bible, such as with those in Joshua 22:1-3, Luke 1:5-6, Revelation 14:12, and Revelation 22:14, so it is false that no one keeps the law, moreover, the position that no one keeps it even when trying to live under it denies what Paul said is the word of faith that we proclaim. The reason why we can't earn our righteousness as the result of obeying the Law of God is not because no one can keep it but because it was never given asa way of earning our righteousness in the first place, which makes it that much more true that we can't earn our righteousness by obeying works of the law. Rather, the Law of God was given to describe the life of someone who is righteous as it describes the life of Christ, so it is what we get to become a doer of by being given the gift of righteousness through faith (1 John 3:4-7).

In Mat 5 Jesus was fulfilling a prophecy with His law

Isa 42:21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Why Jesus said plainly He did not come to destroy the law or prophets but to fill-full. He was promised to magnify His law which means make greater, not smaller. That's exactly what He did with the Ten Commandments and He magnified them by not just making them external but also internal- written in the mind to know and do them. written in the heart because we delight to do the will of God Psa 40:8 all we need to do is cooperate with the Holy Spirit John14:15-18 and not rebel Rom8:7-8 like so many who came before us Heb3:7-19

So like you noted Jesus related the thoughts of anger with the commandment to not commit murder, the thoughts of lust that lead to committing adultery. That's how much Jesus does not want us to break the least of these commandments Mat5:19 because its the path that leads to sin and judgement Mat5:19-30 James 2:11-12

In Isaiah 45:17, it says that all Israel, it says that all of Israel shall be saved, which has led some to hold the position that the way for Gentiles to become saved is by converting to being Jews, which is a position that Paul referred to as "works of the law" and which he was strongly opposed to. So there were Gentiles who were facing pressure to convert to being Jews in order to become saved and some of them were doing that, which is the basis for the whole situation that Paul was addressing about circumcision. In Romans 2:17-29, Paul addressed those who call themselves Jews, so he was not addressing native Jews, but rather he was addressing Gentiles who have converted to being Jews and were now calling themselves Jews, but they were not obeying the Law of Moses, so Paul was making the point that being a Jew is not just about being physically circumcised but also about having a circumcised heart, which is evident by our obedience to the Law of Moses.

Jesus spent his ministry teaching how to practice Judaism by setting a sinless example for us to follow of how to walk in obedience to the Mosaic Law and the whole point of spreading the Gospel to Gentiles calling for repentance from our disobedience to the Mosaic Law is to make converts to Judaism. In Acts 24:14, Paul testified that according to The Way, which they call a sect, he continued to worship the God of their fathers, believing everything laid down by the Torah and written in the Prophets, and the religion that The Way is a sect of is Judaism, so that was the whole point his ministry to Gentiles.

Paul notably didn't say anything in Romans 2 about them sliding back into their traditions.

Paul notably wrote Romans 9:1-11:32 regarding Israel rejecting Christ because of their traditions!

No, the law cannot do that. It is the Spirit that gives life. The law tells what righteousness is. The Spirit imparts righteousness.
The only way for someone to attain a character trait is through faith but what it means to have a character trait is to be a doer of that trait. For example, the only way for someone to become courageous is through faith apart from being required to have first done enough courageous works in order to earn it as the result, but it would be contradictory for someone to become courageous apart from becoming a doer of courageous works, and the same is true for righteousness and every other character traits. This is why the faith by which we are declared righteous apart from works also upholds the Law of God (Romans 3:28-31). The Law of God was never given as a way to attain the character traits of God but to describe the life of someone who has the character traits of God as it describes the life of Christ, so it is what we get to become a doer of by attaining the character traits of God through faith, which are the fruits of the Spirit.

Salvation has always been by grace through faith. Grace was emphasized in the 2nd Adamic, Noatic, Abrahamic, and Davidic covenants. The Mosaic covenant, though given in grace, was a works covenant. It was never about salvation. It was given to preserve a people so they wouldn't be destroyed and remain in the land for Messiah to come.
You have no grounds for making that exemption.

According to you Jesus removed 98% of the law and the prophets.

Then you highlight the verse below.

Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets

Not only was 98% of the law shredded the covenant between God and Israel ended.

I can see a contradiction here?

Did Jesus fulfill the ten commandments or not?

If Jesus fulfilled the ten commandments then, the entire law has passed.

That is why Paul makes statements like the one below.

Galatians 5:18
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.

You cannot hold onto to the law and Jesus at the same time.
A person who is following the Holy Spirit will intuitively understand what is right and wrong. However, the testimony of truth recorded in the written word acts as yet another witness to what is true. In this way, the word and the spirit agree.

The only way for someone to obtain a character trait is for the trait to be imparted by the Spirit. It is then that the trait will be demonstrated through you. This is the operation of the resurrected Christ in you. It is an operation of the Spirit, not the individual. Until you understand this, you will operate in the flesh.

In Matthew 4, Jesus consistently preceded a quote from what was written by saying "it is written...", but in Matthew 5, he preceded a quote from what the people had heard being said by saying "you have heard that it was said...", so his emphasis on the different form of communication is important. Jesus was not sinning in violation of Deuteronomy 4:2 by making changes to what was written but rather he was fulfilling the law by correcting what the people had heard being said and by teaching how to correctly obey it as it was originally intended. For example, we are commanded not to hate our brother in Leviticus 19:17 and if we correctly understand what is being commanded by the 7th and 10th Commandments against committing adultery and costing in our hearts, then we won't look at a married woman with lust in our hearts, so Jesus was not teaching anything brand new in the Sermon on the Mount.

This is the operation of the resurrected Christ in you. It is an operation of the Spirit, not the individual. Until you understand this, you will operate in the flesh.
The way to operate in the flesh is by refusing to obey the Law of Moses.

In Mathew 4:15-23, Jesus began his ministry with the Gospel message to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand, which was a light to the Gentiles, and the Mosaic Law was how his audience knew what sin is (Romans 3:20), so repenting from our disobedience to it is a central part of the Gospel message, which means that the way to obey the Gospel is by obeying the Mosaic Law.

Trying to establish our own righteousness has always been a fundamental misunderstanding of the goal of the Law of Moses. In Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him to walk in His way that he and Israeli might know Him, and in Matthew 7:23, Jesus said that he would tell those who are workers of lawlessness to depart from him because he never knew them, so the goal of the Law of Moses is to graciously teach us how to know God and Jesus by walking in His way, which is His gift of eternal life.

In Romans 9:30-10:4, the Israelites had a zeal for God, but it was not based on knowing Him, so they failed to attain righteousness because they misunderstood the goal of the law by pursuing it as thought righteousness were earned as the result of their works instead of pursuing it as though righteousness is by faith in Christ, for knowing Christ is the goal of the law for righteousness for everyone who has faith. In Romans 10:5-10, Paul referred to Deuteronomy 30 as the word of faith that we proclaim in regard to the righteousness that is by faith proclaiming that the Law of Moses is not too difficult for us to obey, that obedience to it brings life and a blessing, in regard to what we are committing to obey by confessing that Jesus is Lord, and in regard to the way to believe that God raised him from the dead for salvation. So nothing in this passage has anything to do with Jesus ending the Law of Moses but just the opposite. It doesn't even make sense to think that God's Word made flesh ended God's Word, but rather he is the goal of God's Word.
You have a false doctrine.

“Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded. Just as it is written: “God has given them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see and ears that they should not hear, To this very day.””
‭‭Romans‬ ‭11‬:‭5‬, ‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Why do you think that? In Proverbs 4:2, it defines sound doctrine as not forsaking the Mosaic Law.

A person who is following the Holy Spirit will intuitively understand what is right and wrong. However, the testimony of truth recorded in the written word acts as yet another witness to what is true. In this way, the word and the spirit agree.
This is what the Holy Spirit convicts on

John 16:8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

This leads us back to what Jesus taught and why its so important.

The Holy Spirit is what wrote the Ten Commandments Exo31:18 the finger of God is the Spirit of the living God and I can show this to you in NT Scripture. God spoke the Ten Commandments- the Holy Spirit wrote it on stone and in the NC wrote the Ten Commandments in our hearts and minds. Why Jesus said plainly not a jot or tittle- which means not something as small as a dot of an i or cross of a t can pass from the law of God because its purely written by God Himself. So changing and removing an entire commandment forgetting what God said Remember- its not a doctrine coming from God. Dan7:25

Mat: 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The Holy Spirit convicts of sin.
Sin is:
1 John 3:4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
James 2:11-12 For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. quoting and contrasting directly from the Ten Commandments breaking one we break them all
Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”

The Holy Spirit convicts on righteousness (right doing)

Which is:
Psa 119:172 My tongue shall speak of Your word,
For all Your commandments are righteousness.

And includes the 4th commandment

56 Thus says the Lord:

Isa 56:1 “Keep justice, and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come,
And My righteousness to be revealed.
2Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

Because His righteousness is everlasting

Psa 119:142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,
And Your law is truth.

Its the foundation of God's Throne

Psa 89:14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;
Mercy and truth go before Your face.

The Holy Spirit convicts us on Judgement:

John 12:48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

James 2:11 ;For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” (quoting the Ten Commandments breaking one we break them all) Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.

Why only the Ten Commandments is under the mercy seat of God Exo25:21 in heaven Rev15:5 Rev11:19 and we see the ark of God's covenant that holds the Ten Commandments at the last trumpet the standard of which God will judge all people Rev11:18-19

Why the devil is constantly attacking the law of God especially the 4th commandment- the commandment that He tells us how we join ourselves to Him and serve Him Isa 56:6 whoever we obey is who we serve Rom6:16 why the deception is so strong because the majority are doing something else- just as Jesus said would happen. Rev12:17 Mat7:13-14 despite His clear words on this subject matter- even personally written out by God Himself.

You have a false doctrine.

In my opinion, its better to keep more of what God asks with the right spirit of wanting to serve the Lord Isa56:6 than not to keep what God asks if we love Him John14:15 because of a harden heart. Heb3:7-19 only to be sent away at His Second Coming Mat7:21-23

God will sort out the doctrine when He comes back. Not everyone who says LORD LORD will make it though.

Jesus said I will give you rest- what is He quoting? He said this and still kept the Sabbath according to the commandment- so the rest He gives was never in lieu of obeying one of His commandments, its quite the opposite.
When Jesus promised rest and peace. There is no evidence that He was quoting some unnamed Rabbi. Jesus simple elegant use of ordinary images to express spiritual ideas was characteristic of His style. What He was saying obviously had nothing to do about the benefits of refraining from work on Shabbat. In fact, when we read the passage in its entirety we find no mention of Shabbat at all.

Here is the whole verse:
28 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”…
(Matthew 11:28-30)
"Taking a yoke" refers to the submission of an animal to its master. Whereas a yoke almost always refers to surrender and obedience Jesus said submission to Him, rather than being burdensome, would bring rest. This is because obedience to Jesus brings an end to sin and guilt and results in peace with God.

I am not sure if you read my post but thats exactly what I said, the rest He gives us is from sin- David is not "some rabbi" so not sure where you got that from. The rest in Mat 11 is not about Sabbath-keeping, the Sabbath rest is on the seventh day Exo20:8-11 Luke23:56. There has always been more than one kind of rest even in the OT and it never deleted one of the commandments of God.

Sin is still breaking the law of God, so the rest God gives does not delete the 4th commandment. One would have to add that into the Scriptures, which we are plainly told not to. Pro30:5-6

It appears to me from reading your many posts that you believe all habitual Sabbath breakers will not enter into eternal life. Is this true?
