Its just another misunderstanding. Jesus paid the debt in full, many will never receive it because they refuse to have their hearts transformed by God and subject themselves to the terms of God promised New Covenant and they never enter it Eze 36:26 Heb8:10 by faith Gal3:26-29 Heb4:2- they are too focused on self Rom8:7-8 John3:19-21 Mat7:21-23 instead of God's will Psa40:8 God tells us how we love, serve and join ourselves to the LORD Isa56:6 but people want His blessings on their terms, not His Isa56:2, to serve them on their terms not His Isa56:6. God won't force us to join Him- He asks, we have to do our part. We can fall in the same example of disobedience Heb3:7-19 Eze 20:15-16 just as those did before us Heb4:11

Its time for me to move along- I wish you well.
It is pretty ironic that you are preaching about a transformed heart while admitting yours is still deceitful, proving you are still trying to use a stone checklist to manage a nature you don't actually trust the King to have changed yet.

That's an amazing twist of what was said. I said we should love God that way He said to both written and spoken by God Himself Exo20:6 instead of depending on our own heart, which will deceive us.

I see there is no reasoning here, so I will let you be on your way.

It isn't a twist. It is just pointing out that if you still have a deceitful heart that needs a stone tablet to keep it in check, then you haven't actually received the New Covenant heart that God promised. You are correct that there is no reasoning with someone who refuses to remove the veil of the law and put on the lenses of the Spirit.

We all do, why we need to depend on what God said and not our feelings. He tells us how to love Him Exo20:6 and serve and join ourselves to Him Isa56:6 the issue is not that God is not clear, the issue is our hardened heart Heb3:7-19 wanting everything God promises, but on our terms not His. Mat7:21-23 Its a deception, but believe as you wish.

The devil is really angry with the people of God who keep the commandments of God and the faith and testimony of Jesus. I guess we will all need to decide which side of the battle we are on. We can see the anger in these posts so we know it’s making someone really angry. I would rather have the wrath of the devil now, than God later Heb10:26-30

Rev12:17And the dragon was enraged with the woman (God’s church), and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

There is a spirit out there who doesn’t want us to serve the LORD Isa56:6 and keep His commandments. If it is making the devil angry praise be to the LORD!

In this post, you sound just like Ellen White threatening people who expose her false teaching. Congratulations

It is not a feeling to trust the finished work of the Son, it is faith. You keep pointing to the law to fix a hardened heart, but Paul says in 2 Corinthians 3:14 that the heart is actually hardened and veiled by the reading of the old covenant. You are trying to use the very thing that causes the blindness to try and cure it. If you need a stone tablet to join yourself to God, you are still living as a servant under a shadow instead of a child of the King who has been given a new nature.

The everlasting gospel is to still worship our Creator. The God who made and rested from His works on the seventh day Sabbath,

Rev 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

No wonder why God said Remember- because the majority has replaced worship to God with another as we were warned Dan7:25- God personally called everyone to worship and serve Him Isa56:6 the LORD of the Sabbath Mat2:28 because whoever we obey is who we serve Rom6:16

I guess it will be sorted out soon enough. Today we have time to change our minds- once Jesus returns our decisions final Rev22:11

We cannot take away what God blessed -its forever- we can just forfeit our own blessings God is trying to give us Isa56:2.

Paul is misunderstood that came with a salvation warning 2Peter3:16 everything Paul taught has to be reconciled to Christ Col2:8 Paul was a servant of Christ and a servant of Christ joins themselves to the LORD Isa56:6 Paul was never God's corrector as sadly people elevate him in that position hence the stern warning2Peter3:16

God rested from His creative work, but He has continued working His plan for sinners to cease working every day
and enter His Sabbath Rest (Heb. 3:1-4:11).

@GWH
I meant to add this idea that there are two gospels one in the OT one in the NT is not Biblical

Gal 1:6-9 says there is only ONE Gospel
Gal 3:8 says "The GOSPEL was preached to Abraham'"
Heb 4:1-2 says "The GOSPEL was preached to US JUST as it was to THEM also"

Yes, there is only one Gospel per Gal. 1:6-9 and Eph. 4:4,
and Heb. 7:11-10:1 explains how it was foreshadowed in the OT.
How it was preached to Abraham is indicated in Rom. 4:1-25.

No, just want God warned would happen. What He predicts always comes true.

Taking what others say out of context with half truths, context left out, is just exposing oneself to God. Nothing more nothing less.

Exactly. That closes the discussion out. Till all be fulfilled. He fulfilled it. He said Himself “IT IS FINISHED”. Are you calling Him a liar? The debt is paid, the contract was satisfied. Furthermore if the stone tablets were still to be the foundation, do you honestly believe that God would not have preserved them so that we could still have them today? He allowed the shadows to vanish because the SUBSTANCE is here.
what was fulfilled??, read your bible!!!

No, the ONE gospel is everlasting Rev14:6-7. God says he does not change. Its just a matter of believing Him.

In order to believe Him as a Christian, one must not kick against the goad of what He says in the NT,
which is the primary source of our knowledge of the Gospel.

Paul as a Pharisee kicked against converting from belief in Judaism, I as a Baptist kicked against converting from belief in Perseverance,
and you as a Sabbatarian kick against converting from belief that the Sabbath Law is moral or still mandatory.

That Jesus is LORD of the Sabbath Mark2:28 made for man Mark2:27 which is not the word for Jew and came to magnify His laws Isa42:21, not destroy Mat5:17 its easier for heaven and earth to pass, before a jot or tittle of the law to fail. Luke16:17 Heaven and earth are still here. Keeping our own traditions over the commandments of God makes the word of God of no effect and our worship to Him in vain. Mat15:3-14 Mark7:7-13 I would consider His NT teachings because the God of the NT is the same God as the OT.

The issue is not that the God of the Bible was not clear, the issue is in believing Him. People believe of Him, just not in Him because if they did they would do what He asks Luke6:46-48

Everything. He fulfilled the entire legal requirement of the Old Covenant so we could be released from the old rules and live by the Spirit. If He didn't fulfill it all, then "It is finished" was a lie. You are still staring at the invoice asking if the check cleared, while the King is already handing you the keys to the house. You should read yours starting with:

“So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian,”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭ESV‬‬

It’s the same fear tactic that almost all cults use to maintain control. You can’t leave or God will be mad. You can't question the leader or God will be mad. Eventually, a member ends up protecting the prophet and the blueprint more than the King they supposedly worship. If your faith relies on threats of wrath to keep people in line, you aren't following a Shepherd, You’re just serving a system that’s afraid of the light.

The Scripture doesn't say leaving EGW- it says not keeping the commandments of God. Rev14:12 Rev12:17 EGW can't save anyone, she points us to the God who can save us and bless us Isa56:2 and sanctify us Eze20:12 because we can't do this ourselves Isa66:17 we need God Eze20:20. Why the devil is so angry with those who keep God's commandment because Psa 119:165 Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.

The devil wants us serving him Rom6:16KJV Dan7:25 not God Isa56:6 so attacking the people who believe we should keep God's commandments and serve Him, Isa56:6 by calling them cults, Judaizes, and whatever other names they can think of, same spirit that did that to Jesus. Matthew 12:22-32,Luke 11:14-23 John 8:44-47 They rarely use Scripture and when they do its taken completely out of context. Just as the devil did when he tempted Jesus.

These type of attacks are not new. The professed people of God are the ones who killed the prophets and crucified our Savior all in the name of God. Nothing new under the sun, different day. God warned this would happen and it will continue to intensify as the man-made sabbath Sunday Dan7:25 goes into Law where now people can say the Sabbath-keepers are breaking the law just as they did to Jesus. John 8:44-47 Breaking the man-made laws, not the commandments of God.

You mean Ellen’s plagiarized view of scripture remains the primary authority. The shadow idea was being taught long before ellen wrote it down. Both of the books you quoted from were plagiarized. Even SDA scholars admitted that.
All Ellen did was carry on the Methodist tradition, the traditional church tradition, of focusing
on the tablet of stone. Ellen highlighted the fourth commandment and that's all she did. Her
health advice is redundant because a vegetarian diet does not guarantee a longer life. Too many
science studies have concluded there is no difference, between a vegetarian diet and a meat diet.

The Catholic Church placed it's flock under the ten commandments and the other churches
followed that tradition. Problem was, the ten commandments are the law of Moses. The Christian
world in the nineteenth century was under the law not under grace, and that was worldwide.

Not until public education became standard across the world that the Bible was widely read.
Did the truth come out that Gentiles are not, in fact, under the Mosaic law.

What a twisted and broken Christian history we have.

Yep, heaven and earth are still here, and Messiah has fulfilled the OC Law as well as Messianic Prophecy,
despite you disbelieving NT teachings. Hallelujah!

He said not a jot or tittle can pass from the law, why breaking it, is still a sin in the NC 1John3:4 breaking one we break them all James2:10-12 and the path Jesus said leads to sin and Judgement Mat5:18-30

I will agree to disagree and it will get sorted out in God's time.

@GWH this will serve you too.
Here i need to invite you to do some honest searching of your own before drawing the conclusions you are drawing.

You are assuming that it is finished means the moral law and the commandments are abolished. But what if it is finished means something more specific than that? What if what was finished was the sacrificial system, the penalty of sin, the requirement for animal blood, the Levitical priesthood and every ceremonial shadow that pointed forward to Christ? Because that is exactly what the prophets said He would fulfill. And fulfilling those things does not require abolishing the eternal moral character of God expressed in the Ten Commandments.

Now here is the homework I genuinely want to encourage you to do because it will change the way you read this entirely. Go and find the prophecies about Jesus in the Old Testament. Not just one or two. All of them. Because Jesus did not come out of nowhere. He was announced, described and predicted in extraordinary detail centuries and in some cases thousands of years before He was born. And understanding what those prophecies said He would fulfill is the key to understanding what it is finished actually means.

Here are the books where you will find them and I am giving you the map but encouraging you to make the journey yourself because what you discover will stay with you far longer than anything I could simply hand you:

Start with Genesis. The very first prophecy about Jesus is found in Genesis 3:15 where God tells the serpent that the seed of the woman will crush his head. Then look at Genesis 22 where Abraham offers Isaac on Mount Moriah and God provides a substitute. The entire scene is a breathtaking picture of the cross painted thousands of years before it happened.

Then go to Deuteronomy 18:15-19 where Moses himself, the very man who received the Ten Commandments, prophesied that God would raise up a prophet like himself from among the people and that everyone must listen to Him. Jesus quoted this about Himself and Peter confirmed it was fulfilled in Christ. (Acts 3:22-23). Moses spoke of Jesus. The man who received the commandments pointed forward to the One who would confirm them.

Then look at Psalm 22 written by David approximately 1000 years before the cross. Read it slowly and carefully. My God my God why hast thou forsaken me. They pierced my hands and my feet. They cast lots for my clothing. Every detail of the crucifixion described in precise and stunning detail a thousand years before crucifixion even existed as a method of execution.

Then go to Psalm 110 where David describes a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. The writer of Hebrews explains this is Jesus as our eternal High Priest replacing the Levitical priesthood. That is something fulfilled at the cross. The priesthood. Not the moral law.

Then read Isaiah 53 in its entirety. This was written approximately 700 years before the birth of Jesus and it describes His suffering, His rejection, His death as a substitute for sinners and His resurrection with a precision that makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck when you read it knowing what you know about what actually happened. He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him. With His stripes we are healed. All of it. Written 700 years before it happened.

Then look at Micah 5:2 written 700 years before the birth of Jesus which names Bethlehem specifically as the birthplace of the one whose goings forth have been from of old from everlasting. The eternal one born in Bethlehem. Predicted 700 years in advance.

Then go to Zechariah 9:9 written 500 years before Palm Sunday which describes the king coming to Jerusalem riding on a donkey. Jesus fulfilled this to the letter on the day we now call Palm Sunday.

Then look at Zechariah 11:12-13 written 500 years before the betrayal which names the exact price of thirty pieces of silver that would be paid for the betrayal of the shepherd and then thrown to the potter in the house of the Lord. Judas fulfilled this in precise detail without knowing he was doing so.

Then read Zechariah 12:10 which describes the one they pierced and the mourning that follows. And Zechariah 13:7which says strike the shepherd and the sheep will be scattered, quoted by Jesus Himself in the garden the night of His arrest. (Matthew 26:31).

Then look at Daniel 9:24-27 where the prophet gives a precise mathematical timeline of weeks of years pointing to the exact moment of the appearance and cutting off of the Messiah. Scholars who have worked through this chronology carefully have landed within days of the crucifixion. Written 500 years before it happened.

Now here is why all of this matters for your argument. Every single one of these prophecies is about what Jesus would do in His first coming. His birth. His life. His ministry. His betrayal. His suffering. His death. His resurrection. His priesthood. His role as the final sacrifice. These are what it is finished refers to. The fulfillment of every promise, every picture, every shadow and every type that pointed forward to the cross.

But notice something important. Not one of these prophecies says He would come to abolish the moral law or the Ten Commandments. Not one of them predicts that the eternal character of God expressed in the commandments would be set aside. In fact Moses who wrote the commandments also prophesied that a prophet would come who everyone must listen to. And that prophet, Jesus, said with His own voice:

Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets. I am not come to destroy but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you till heaven and earth pass away one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:17-18 KJV)

The One whose coming was prophesied by Moses confirmed the commandments Moses received. The One who cried it is finished on the cross said in the same week keep my commandments if you love me. (John 14:15). The cross and the commandments are not in competition. They never were. The cross dealt with the penalty for breaking the commandments. It did not abolish the commandments themselves.

So please do the homework. Go through those books. Read those prophecies carefully. Ask yourself honestly what they say He came to fulfill. And then ask whether any of them predict the abolishment of the Ten Commandments commonly called the moral law. The answer will speak for itself. And it will be far more convincing coming from your own honest searching than from anything anyone can simply hand you in a forum reply.
