Completely false and have you ever studied botany? You do realize that every plant you has been modified so much over the last thousand years that you wouldn’t recognize the original form. Do you realize how many toxins are in plants? Every plant has a chemical defense whether it be glycoalkaloids, lectins, cyanogenic glycosides, furocoumarins, cucurbitacins, oxalic acid, caramboxin, saponins, or goitrogens just to name a few.

Also any fruit or vegetable you buy in the store contains pesticides and herbicides. Even the so called organic ones are sprayed with ethylene gas to accelerate ripening or hypochlorous acid to preserve them. You should really study up. I won’t even start on how agriculture has destroyed millions of acres of animal habitat.

Not healthier at all. I could go into the human digestive system and tell you why if you’re interested.

False

And you definitely don’t know that people live longer on a vegetarian diet. My guess is you’re referring to the SDA studies done. Turns out the studies did nothing to prove eating vegetables were healthier than eating meat. The entire study was flawed and all they showed was eating natural was better than eating ultra processed food packed with sugar. The studies compared people eating a natural vegetarian diet to people eating McDonalds and drinking cokes. It did not compare people eating only vegetables to people eating only meat. You should do some research and quit relying on flawed studies. Oh and God’s original diet wasn’t plant based, it was just plants. If you want to go that route you might want to go vegan. You can’t claim to stick to God’s Eden diet while consuming anything other than plants. That’s being a hypocrite.
You can eat what ever you want.

I've got my eyes on heaven
The diet in heaven will only be plants

I don't desire meat in any way..
It's your choice.

The law killed Paul.

Romans 7:9-11
I was once alive apart from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin became alive and I died;
and this commandment, which was to result in life, proved to result in death for me; for sin, taking
an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me.

The law is a death sentence.

Do you understand TMS?
The law does not make us righteous and the law can not save us. The law reveals what sin is and sin kills us.

You quoted 9-11...

Keep reading please..

Rom 7:12-13
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

Was the law (which is good), death to me and you or Paul? GOD FORBID.
NO
It is sin not the law that kills us
It is sin by that which is GOOD, that sin might become exceedingly sinful.

Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

Please read the context before you make false claims.

Based on Hebrews 7:12, a change in the priesthood from the Levitical system to the order of Melchizedek (Jesus) necessitates a change in the Law. Thus the law did change Because the Old Covenant law was tied to priestly rituals, the introduction of a new, eternal High Priest means the ceremonial, sacrificial, and legal structures have been transformed or fulfilled, ushering in a better covenant.

More importantly is the fact that the Mosaic law was given at Mount Sinai not in Genesis 1 two Moses and the Israelites only so as to make them a special peculiar people different from other nations

People who support the mosaic laws being binding on gentiles simply do not understand the Mosaic law itself nor the work of Jesus Christ on the cross
Lets look at the next verse in Hebrews that explains the law being spoken of in verse 12 and why it had to change.

Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law. 13 For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

So there is the context in the verses that were not quoted for some reason. The law said the priesthood had to come from the tribe of Levi- this is shown plainly in the OT. Jesus came from the tribe of Judah the reason of the necessity of the law- this law the priesthood having to change so Jesus can be our High Priest. The law of God Exo20:6 did not end nor will it ever Rev14:12, what changed is the priesthood and how we go about forgiveness of sins. No longer to an earthy priest, no longer an animal sacrifices but directly to Jesus when we repent and confess which means a change of mind. Its still sin to break the law of God in the NT 1John3:4 James2:10-12 because God's standard of righteousness is everlasting Psa119:172 Isa56:1-2 Psa 119:142 and God shows no partiality Rom2:11

My friend! I love many of your posts and so blessed to have you post here and look forward to reading many more of them. :)

I would like to point out that I disagree with this statement.

The law is a generic term-and this is where most of the confusion comes in because people do not look at the context of the law being spoken about. The law could mean the Ten Commandments as shown by these two examples

Exo 24:12 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”

We plainly know only the Ten Commandments is the law God personally wrote on stone

Deut 4:13 So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.

Here is a NT example

Rom7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”

Obviously the law being referred to is the Ten Commandments.

Often Paul will use the term law to refer to the book of the law what was beside the ark Deut4:13 written by Moses, not God.

Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

This is where most confusion on Scripture comes in because people (not saying you) in general do not study the difference between the two main laws. The law of God - the Ten Commandments written by God Himself that was inside the ark and the law that was added because of sin that was placed outside the ark, the law of Moses written by Moses that was there as a witness against thee Deut31:24-26 that contained all of the blessings and curses for breaking the Ten Commandments.

There is a law not a jot or tittle can pass Mat5:18- the one written by the finger of God Exo31:18 inside the ark of God Exo40:20 Exo25:21 in His heavenly Temple Rev11:18-19 that is perfect Psa19:7 holy, just and good Rom7:12

The law of Moses we were told plainly the commandments contained in ordinances written by Moses 2Chron33:8NKJV Col2:14KJV Dan9:27 Heb10:1-10 once Jesus came would end at the Cross.

Anyway, like I said this is an area that brings in a lot of confusion, so hope you don't mind me sharing these Scriptures.

God bless!

Good morning my friend! Sorry about being short yesterday. I was working and though I work for myself I have to be carful with my time.

With Deut 30:10-14 speaking of the commandments and statutes in the Book of the Law one can see it is much more than the ten. Common sense screams it. For the Book of the Law covers proper hygiene, diet, unbiased judging, incest, bestiality, homosexuality and various other laws that are not of the Decalogue yet are still part of us through Christ.

The following is what you are not addressing. It shows what has been placed in our hearts. (Deut 30:10-14) and that the New Covenant isn't really New at all but has been available since the time that Israel was about to enter the Promised Land.
The first mentioning of the New Covenant was actually in Deut 29:1 in the land of Moab. The reason we know it is new is because it is mentioned as a covenant besides the one given in Horeb, Mt Sinia. And that we should enter into covenant with the lord their God, into "HIS" oath. That HE may establish this day a people unto Himself Deut. 29:12,13.

The reason we can say "we" in respect to us entering into this covenant, into our Lord our God's oath, is it says so in Deut. 29:14, 15. There God through Moses says, neither with JUST YOU do I make this Covenant and this oath. But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day. For the Lord our God will circumcise our heart and the hearts of our seed that we may live. That we obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments Deut30:6,8. Hearkening unto the voice of the Lord so that we can keep His Commandments, AND His Statutes written in the Book of the Law. For this commandment that we hearken unto the voice of the Lord is not far from us. But His Word is in our hearts and in our mouths that we do it. That is the faith in which we preach. For with the heart man believeth INTO righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:6-8. For God has said, He will put His Law into our hearts and in our minds He will write them. And again He saith, I will give them My Spirit and cause them to walk in my Way.

What is nice about the wording in Deut. 30:10-14 is that the judgments, those ordinances and ceremonies that dealt with when we sin are not mentioned. This clears up a lot of confusion as to what exactly God has placed in our hearts through Christ. Besides the Ten Commandments It is just the laws and statutes that pertain to our interaction with one another and God.

Praying your day as God would have it. A blessing to those who are around you.

I Do not support the Mosaic law. the Opening post does not support the mosaic law and explains according to scripture the differences between the ten commandments that God declared the Covenant placed in the Ark of the Covenant and the Mosaic Law placed besided the Ark hat was added for the israelites of that time, beacose they sinned gravely. like you say, many of the items of the law of Moses cannot be followed today by gentiles or Jews and were shadows of a better covenant.

Hey brother I appreciate the Scripture references.

What do you think of this verse?

Deut 31:24 So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished, 25 that Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying: 26 “Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there as a witness against you

Compared to the Ten Commandments, that God Himself wrote that was inside the ark of the Covenant

Deut 4: 13 So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.

Exo 31:18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

The Ten Commandments was what was inside the ark, under the mercy seat of God where the blood covered the sins from the law of God.

Exo 25:16 And you shall put into the ark the Testimony which I will give you.

Exo 25:21 You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.

The book of the law contained all of the animal sacrifices for sins for breaking the law of God, the Ten Commandments and everything thing else aside from the law that God Himself wrote. Do you think we should still sacrifice animal for sins? Just trying to understand your beliefs. I am of the belief its better to do too much than not enough but there are some clear guidelines on this in Scripture.

Thanks friend for the friendly discussion.

You can eat what ever you want.

I've got my eyes on heaven
The diet in heaven will only be plants

I don't desire meat in any way..
It's your choice.
We will be immortal in heaven so why would we need food?

Why would there be plants in heaven?

I suppose we will have seventy seven virgins.

Ha ha ha.

people focus on things that were not written
What?

Peter said we are under grace.

We were told to avoid sexual immorality and they said we would do well, by the apostles.

You say that's not true because we will be judged and die for not obeying a sabbath day.

One part of the law was fulfilled and no longer applies which is the new covenant.

The other part of the law was not fulfilled and still applies which is the old covenant.

Now that is confusing?

What about the prophets and what they said?

God states it

Not us.

The bible tells us...

Jas 2:10-12
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

The Jew and Gentile argument is not relevant because we are all one in Christ.
We are all children of God through Christ.
We are all Jews and israelites by adoption,

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

The Pinnacle of the Mosaic law is this: love God and love thy neighbor and by doing so you have fulfilled all of the requirements of the law of Moses

This is the New Covenant it is a single command from Jesus or two if you separate the sentence there is no need for the Mosaic law other than a reference to lead you to Christ doing the ax in the law well good for the experience gain one nothing in the eyes of God

Since you cannot actually keep the laws of Moses anymore there's no Tempo there's no levitical priesthood we aren't sacrificing things nobody can accurately follow the Mosaic law why because God allowed it to be replaced by a more perfect law which I stated above it's simple Works do nothing love conquers all things. Not to mention the Mosaic law was only for Israel and in the New Covenant there is no Jew or Gentile

Which one of the Ten Commandments can we not keep because there is no earthy temple?

The Ten Commandments is not the Mosaic law there are 613 laws in the Mosaic law which cannot be kept.

More importantly I'm a gentile convert I never have or never will have to keep the Mosaic law

I agree, the Ten Commandments is not the Mosaic law, it is the law of God, what this tread topic is about. God's people keep God's commandments Rev14:12 and it would have to be the version God gave, not what man has tried to edit Dan7:25 as we are warned not to. That is not correct regarding the Mosaic law at Mt Sinai.

We are not one people as far as the law is concerned.

The scripture clearly specifies that God chose Israel and God did not choose the Gentiles.

The Gentiles were never the old covenant people.

Were the ten words universal?

No according to the law of Noah; there were only seven laws that the Gentiles were given.

Guess what TMS, the seven laws did not include the sabbath.

They prohibit idolatry, blasphemy, murder, theft, sexual immorality, and eating the limb of a live animal,
while requiring the establishment of courts of justice.

According to the scripture the ten commandments were never universal.

You need to explain why the law of Noah does not include a sabbath law.

I will wait patiently.

Being a spiritual Israelite means that through faith in Jesus Christ, you are counted as the true seed of Abraham and an heir to every divine promise.

There are no literal Jews or Gentiles because it is by faith and a commitment in the heart and mind. It is not about the area we are born in or blood line we have.

Read all about the olive tree in Roms 11. The context is clear that the root is Jewish. The wild branches are the gentiles but are grafted into the natural olive tree which is the jewish nation.
Gentiles become graffed into the nation of Israel which is God's people..

The tree had the branches removed that did not believe in Jesus, and those that do believe are graffed in.

Rom 11:16-17
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Rom 9:24-26
24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? 25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. 26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

We are children by adoption.

We become seeds of Abraham by Christ.

Being one in Christ who is a Jew.

It is not the natural birth that makes one a child of God, but the spiritual birth. Rom 9:8 They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

When you have faith, you are linked to the father of the faithful. Gal 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

The New Testament defines a "Jew" in a spiritual sense, focusing on the condition of the heart rather than outward ceremonies or lineage.
True circumcision is a work of the Holy Spirit in the soul. "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly... But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter" (Romans 2:28-29.

Are you a spiritual Jew?
