I didn't say the gospel wasn't the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

I said you stop short of fully understanding the gospel.

Do you have faith in Jesus's ability to save you FROM SIN?

fully save you From sin.

A Judaizer to the very end

Do you believe Jesus can save you to the uttermost?
Yes. Do you believe Jesus that can saves only to a certain point. That is, He can save you unless you sin? It doesn't matter how eloquent a liar is in his lying.

The main error in your undestanding is thinking that Jesus died to help us behave....when actually, we can never enact perfection.
God provides the complete power necessary for us to overcome every sin and hereditary or cultivated tendency to evil through the agency of the Holy Spirit and faith in Jesus Christ.

The battle against sin is not one we are asked to fight in our own finite strength. God has provided the "Third Person of the Godhead" to come in the fullness of divine power to make the sacrifice of Christ effectual in our hearts.

Jesus promised that we would receive power to conquer when the Holy Spirit comes upon us Acts 1:8. This Spirit is a regenerating agent that makes the heart pure and enables us to be partakers of the divine nature Ephesians 2:1-6.

Through faith, we can be "out of weakness made strong" Hebrews 11:34.

God is faithful and will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, but with every temptation, He provides a way of escape so that we may be able to bear it 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Because Christ Himself suffered being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted Hebrews 2:18. He met and resisted all temptations by relying on divine power, and He offers that same power to us John 14:12.

We can be More Than Conquerors. We are not merely survivors in this conflict; we are "more than conquerors through Him that loved us" Romans 8:37.

This requires faith in the promises of God. Will you have faith in Christ's power to make you a conqueror?

And? Do you think Christians don't know that? Is that what you are taught? Study the book of Romans. I don't think you have clue of what is in that book or you would not make the statement that you make.
The reason I said the gospel includes a transformation is because you are saying that Jesus can not transform us.
The main error in your undestanding is thinking that Jesus died to help us behave....when actually, we can never enact peperfection.
Transformation of the heart = the ability to obey Him.
Writting the laws on our heart.

Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

What do yous all think of this statement.

Jesus didn't come so that you'd have to worry about keeping the ten commandments,
He came so that you wouldn't have to worry about not keeping them.

What is the law of liberty? Can a law as Adventists understand that reference create liberty? Does a stop sign give you the liberty to stop or just drive through it? Again, no understanding of what is being called the law of liberty
Does Christ give us liberty by removing the law?
Does the liberty come by allowing us to transgress the law?
Does Jesus remove all the stop signs so we have liberty to drive without stopping.. ???

Or does Jesus have laws in place that give order and peace. So that we can live without hurting each other. ?
Or Does Jesus give us forgiveness for transgressing the law and power to keep the law. ?
Are we at liberty when we are obeying the law or disobeying the law??

When the transgression of the law is sin and Sin = death.

Are we at liberty when we are in bondage to sin or free from sin.

The law is not the bondage it is what points out what bondage is.

When we obey the stop sign we are at liberty to keep driving peacefully and without any issues...
But when we disobey the stop sign we may hurt ourselves or hurt others or get fined by the police.

We may lose our licence and end up in court facing judges if we disobey enough times... is that liberty?

Liberty is ours when we obey the law because the sin and death of transgression is not holding us in chains. No glory to us all to Jesus.

The law obeyed = liberty from sin.

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

1Jn 3:3-9
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

How you read this statement reveals a lot about the spirit that guides your understanding.

Why would you want to skip over "this hope in Him" referenced from verse 2?
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. 3And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure.

or stop short of verse 10?
1Jn 3:10 By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother.

You can't credibly love your brother while posturing yourself as superior to him. That's certainly not loving him 'as yourself.' Or do you really imagine that you are loving him 'as I [Jesus] have loved you'?

Mem, I understand what you’re saying, but Jesus didn’t come so we could ignore the commandments, he came so we could be freed from sin, which is defined as breaking God’s law. At the very beginning of His ministry, He preached, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). Repentance means turning away from sin and turning back to obedience to God.

Jesus also clearly said, “If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matthew 19:17). He didn’t dismiss them—He affirmed them. In fact, He went even deeper, teaching that obedience is not just outward but from the heart (Matthew 5:17–19).

The “worry” part isn’t about whether the commandments matter. It’s about the burden of guilt and condemnation. Through His sacrifice, Jesus made a way for us to be forgiven when we fall short. As it says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins” (1 John 1:9).

He also gave us the Holy Spirit to guide us and help us live righteously: “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15), and “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3).

So I’d say Jesus didn’t come so we wouldn’t have to worry about keeping the commandments, He came to forgive us when we fail, and to empower us to walk in them through His Spirit.

Yes, why literally the Ten Commandments is called the Law of Liberty what all man will be judged by why its under they are under the mercy seat of God Exo25:21 and shown at the last trumpet when He returns Rev11:18-19 where justice and mercy will come together soon Exo20:6KJV

James 2:11 For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 1So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.

I don't think you do understand if you've interpreted what I've said to mean "we could ignore the commandments."
And you've defined sin as breaking the law, and that has enough truth to it if you are under the law, but how does the verse that says, "...where there is no law..." apply to that definition? Or would your statement apply be more accurately if you inserted the qualifier "(H)e came so we could be freed from (the penalty) of sin, which brief description looks something like, "in blazing fire, inflicting veangeance on those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus (2Th 1:8). 2Th 1:9 says, "They will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the lord, and the glory of His might." As sinful as the transgression of the ten commandments were, there's a wholly new one introduced here, namely, not knowing God and not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

There is only one truth and one correct belief.
I feel attacked because the truth that I follow is being attacked.
It isn’t often that I encounter such blatant whining.

There is indeed only one true and correct belief. Yours isn’t it. The truth is not changed by your feelings on the matter.

If you don’t like the feelings you get from interacting on this forum, then stop interacting on here. That much is entirely within your power to resolve.

Adventists, Sabbatarians or whatever you wish to refer to yourself as, STOP saying Christians believe we are free to sin.

You have been advised of this many times and yet you continue with the false representation of what we believe and continue to deny the truth, that we do not think we are free to sin.

If what you say you believe is the truth, why do you seem to have to keep on falsely stating what Christians here believe?

I sadly do not think you will stop the false representation. You give no indication you want to stop twisting scripture and taking it
out of context either.
Their criticism depends on the foundation of their false accusation.

You are a pest on this thread, and constantly whining and even preventing people from speaking out, you have a lot of nerve. If you don't like the truth on this thread, NO one is forcing you to read the posts here, NO one.

then Mem continue to exclusively follow Paul that you don't understand and totally ignore the words of Jesus as before.

You can go to that mountain that cannot be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom, and storm (Heb 12:18).
I'm following Jesus. He has the words of life. Thank you very much.
