Does Christ give us liberty by removing the law?
Does the liberty come by allowing us to transgress the law?
Does Jesus remove all the stop signs so we have liberty to drive without stopping.. ???

Are you asking? You seem kind of obtuse on the entire New Testament

Or does Jesus have laws in place that give order and peace. So that we can live without hurting each other. ?
Or Does Jesus give us forgiveness for transgressing the law and power to keep the law. ?
Are we at liberty when we are obeying the law or disobeying the law??

Still don't know, eh? Again the New Testament will answer all your questions only you cannot leave out the letters of Paul, who was accepted by Jesus original disciples so why you Sabbies don't is weird but I digress.
The law is not the bondage it is what points out what bondage is.

In Galatians 5:1–15, the apostle Paul discusses the nature of Christian freedom, beginning with an admonition to “stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage” (Galatians 5:1, NKJV). Paul contends that Jesus Christ came to set believers free from a burdensome, legalistic existence as slaves to the law. Therefore, Christians must ensure that they stay free and not get bound up again under a yoke of bondage to the law.

The stupendous avoidance of actual scripture that has been posted by Christians here who understand who Jesus actually is and who understand all that He has done for us, is absolutely of olympian quality. Congrats! You get the gold 🥇for reverse intelligence.

A moment of silence is in order. 😔

As usual you don't know what you are saying and wont listen
Sad, but true.

Psa 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

If we refuse to accept the law of God, there is nothing for the Holy Spirit to do but depart. He won;t force us to obey Him, its a conscious decision we have to make because we love Jesus.

But this goes back to a deeper issue is not believing what Jesus taught is for us.

15 “If you love Me, (first comes love to God) keep My commandments (then comes obedience to the commandments) . 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper (than we receive the Help of the Holy Spirit) , that He may abide with you forever—17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

Acts 5:32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

God provides the complete power necessary for us to overcome every sin and hereditary or cultivated tendency to evil through the agency of the Holy Spirit and faith in Jesus Christ.

No He does not. That would make us robots...artificial intelligence...because human beings are sinful nasty little things and unless God forces us, makes us, we are not going to become sinless.

But you know who is actually sinless? Jesus. Jesus is sinless. The Bible plainly explains this in many places.

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10

“When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, ‘Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.’”
John 17:1-5

“By canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.” Colossians 2:14

“For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18

“That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.” Matthew 8:16-17

Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.” Hebrews 2:14

“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21

“But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

“And might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.” Ephesians 2:16

“In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10

The reason I said the gospel includes a transformation is because you are saying that Jesus can not transform us.

Show me where I said this and if you cannot find it, that would be because I never said that.

Can you people provide proof of the false accusations you post day after day? I think you must know what a lie is and you should know that the 10 commandments will tell you not to bear false witness.

Perhaps you might enlighten us as to why you believe it is ok to lie about what others here say?

God provides the complete power necessary for us to overcome every sin and hereditary or cultivated tendency to evil through the agency of the Holy Spirit and faith in Jesus Christ.

The battle against sin is not one we are asked to fight in our own finite strength. God has provided the "Third Person of the Godhead" to come in the fullness of divine power to make the sacrifice of Christ effectual in our hearts.

Jesus promised that we would receive power to conquer when the Holy Spirit comes upon us Acts 1:8. This Spirit is a regenerating agent that makes the heart pure and enables us to be partakers of the divine nature Ephesians 2:1-6.

Through faith, we can be "out of weakness made strong" Hebrews 11:34.

God is faithful and will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, but with every temptation, He provides a way of escape so that we may be able to bear it 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Because Christ Himself suffered being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted Hebrews 2:18. He met and resisted all temptations by relying on divine power, and He offers that same power to us John 14:12.

We can be More Than Conquerors. We are not merely survivors in this conflict; we are "more than conquerors through Him that loved us" Romans 8:37.

This requires faith in the promises of God. Will you have faith in Christ's power to make you a conqueror?

You don't even know what imputed righteousness means but you expect people to believe you whipped this up yourself?

Paul wrote about imputed righteousness although it is a common theme in the New Testament but you asked what that was.

The way you Sabbies try to make it seem you are all about the gospel is not fooling anyone.

You are a pest on this thread, and constantly whining and even preventing people from speaking out, you have a lot of nerve. If you don't like the truth on this thread, NO one is forcing you to read the posts here, NO one.

Uh, who, pray tell, is prevented from speaking out?

We love the truth in this thread, but, not the false gospel you promote. We love the actual gospel which is not about the commandments.

The gospel is about God's commandments because our salvation in from sin. Mat1:21. Sadly the other spirit has been teaching people by the millions if not more that we cannot overcome sin, that the devil has more power to keep us in our sins than Jesus does to save us from our sins. Sadly this is teaching people how to be lost

Heb 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The LORD will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Why Jesus taught the gospel from the beginning- Repent (from sin) for the Kingdom of God is at hand Mat4:17
But if we refuse to allow to define sin 1John3:4 James2:10-12 Mat5:19-30 or His commandments Exo20:6 Exo20:1-17 Exo31:18 all we will do is cover them Pro28:13 and not a good spot to be in once He returns.

This is the everlasting gospel because there is only one gospel in Scripture and it includes overcoming sin and keeping the commandments of God for the saints of God.

Rev 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—7 saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.

Which is Ecc12:13-14

The everlasting gospel is about fearing God, give glory to Him- His Judgement has come- this is part of His everlasting gospel because not all judgement is bad- for His saints it means being with Jesus forevermore. Its only bad when we refuse to subject ourselves to the law of God Rom8:7-8 where the Holy Spirit is not invited to help transform us from the inside out. Heb8:10 Mat5:18-30

Why those who refuse to worship only God which is quoting directly the 4th commandment Exo20:11 because that is the sign we are one of God's people according to God Eze20:20 a sign of His sanctification Eze20:12 because without it we really have no hope Isa66:17

8 And another angel followed, saying, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

We are being called out of Babylon our false teachings that have been handed down generation after generation from the mother church- the Catholic church who changed God's times and laws Dan7:25 that sadly most follow instead of worshipping our Creator Exo20:11 Rev14:7
It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church.
—Priest Brady, in an address, reported in the Elizabeth, NJ ‘News’ on March 18, 1903.
If Protestants would follow the Bible, they would worship God on the Sabbath Day. In keeping the Sunday they are following a law of the Catholic Church.
—Albert Smith, Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, replying for the Cardinal, in a letter dated February 10, 1920.
Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act. And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.
—C. F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons, in answer to a letter regarding the change of the Sabbath, November 11, 1895.
The Catholic church openly admits they changed the Sabbath just as predicted Dan7:25 to Sunday and this change is a mark of their authority over God's. This gets to the heart of the issue because the last day events are over our worship and Jesus said when we obey mans traditions over God's commandments quoting from the Ten our worship to Him is in vain = false worship Mat15:3-14 Mark7:7-13

Rev 14:9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

The only safeguard we have is to stay faithful to God and obey His commandments- His version what God personally wrote and spoke Exo31:18 Exo20:6 Deut4:13 which is found in the very next verse.

12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

you mixed truth with error and leaves out what Jesus Christ actually taught.

Yes, it is true that Jesus is sinless. That part is right.
But the conclusion they draw from it is not what Jesus taught.

you say God does not give power to overcome sin because that would make us “robots.”
Jesus says the opposite.

In John 8:34–36 (ASV), Jesus says:
“Every one that committeth sin is the bondservant of sin… If therefore the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Freedom from sin is not forced control. It is real freedom. A slave is the one who cannot stop sinning. The free man is the one who can walk away from it.

Again in Luke 6:46:
“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”

Jesus expects obedience. Not forced obedience, but willing obedience.

you claim humans cannot overcome sin unless God forces them.
Jesus shows another way.

In John 14:12:
“He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also.”

That means a changed life is expected, not just a forgiven status.

In Matthew 5:48:
“Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

Jesus would not command something impossible. He calls us higher because God gives help.

Now look at what you quoted.

Many of the verses speak about what Jesus did for us, not what we must become.

Luke 19:10 shows Jesus came to save the lost, yes.
But how does He save?

Matthew 1:21 (important, though you did not quote it):
“He shall save his people from their sins.”

Not in their sins, but from them.

John 17:3 says eternal life is to know God.
But knowing God is not just knowledge. Jesus says in the same prayer (John 17:6):
“I manifested thy name unto the men… and they have kept thy word.”

So knowing God leads to keeping His word.

you quote Isaiah 53 and speak of the cross. That is true.
But Jesus also says in Luke 9:23:
“If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

The cross is not only something Jesus carried. It is also the life we must live.

Now the key error:

you use verses like “made him to be sin for us” to say we stay sinful and only get covered.
But listen to Jesus again:

John 5:14:
“Sin no more, lest a worse thing befall thee.”

John 8:11:
“Go, and sin no more.”

Jesus never tells people, “You cannot stop.”
He always calls to stop.

God does not force anyone. That would not be love.
But He gives real power through His Spirit so a person can choose to obey.

You are not a robot when you obey God.
You are finally free.

Please go back and look at the question.

And if you can, please answer it...

What does imparted righteousness mean?

LOL!

to impart: to make known, tell, relate or to grant a part or share

impute: to ascribe or attribute

So you actually do pay attention so all those misquotes of yours are done on purpose. Thank you for imparting to me the imputed actions of you Adventists. 🤗

You are not a teacher and certainly not a teacher to anyone who actually acknowledges the entire New Testament.

The only thing truthful in this thread is when people refute your false beliefs.

This has nothing to do with Jesus. It's Jesus this and Jesus that with you but you deny the covenant is in His blood so that makes you a false teacher.

Do you believe Jesus can save you to the uttermost?

More than you. I don't add to the salvation God offers through His only begotten Son.

Newsflash: There will not be any Adventists in heaven and you will not be standing beside Jesus to direct His judgements.

Only those who put their faith in Jesus without adding to the one thing God asks of us, are saved. Those who have the compulsion to add their own works insult God. No denominations have the credentials to pass off their works as righteousness and you would know that if you would believe the entire scriptures.

Do you have any original material cause I have a low threshold for boredom and you passed that some time back.

I'm asking a simple question of you.

You make fun of it and laugh ("LOL!").

Can you explain the difference between ....Imputed righteousness and imparted righteousness ?

We are saved individually.
Not as a church or group or nation.

I have stated my believe about "salvation by works", many times, and you should know I do not believe in salvation by works.

We have different understandings of salvation.

What is salvation? Jesus is our Salvation.
We are saved by Jesus alone.

Saved from what? SIN.

We were without sin when we were first made. We were made in God's image.

We needed saving from sin. Sin is the problem, and Jesus is the saviour of that problem.

I have faith in Jesus's ability to fix the problem in every way. To save us from sin by giving us power to not sin. And by forgiving us from past sin. Salvation is about restoring us to a state of perfect harmony with God.

It is not salvation from sin if we are still in bondage to it.
It is not salvation from sin if we are still living in sin every day.

Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

2Pe 2:19-20
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

1Pe 1:22-23
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1Jn 5:3-4
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Cameron, Only Jesus can you heal you, listen to Him!
Guess you can't help yourself. By limiting your counsel to only a portion of scripture rather than the full counsel of God, you put forth a portion of truth. That's why you don't understand what others are saying.

Also a bad look when trying to share with others to insinuate that someone isn't doing something. Would be good to learn to love people before trying to influence them. JESUS BEGAN FIRST TO DO, AND THEN TO TEACH. A really good plan.
