I wonder if you always show this lack of faith
Oh I was raised in a church of ''pat statements ''where the people making them could not live up to their statements.
The law is not based on faith(Gal3:12)

Most do not want to hear they have or can have total victory over sin.
When you perfectly without slip, love all those you come into contact with, in thought, word and deed, including your enemies, those who may malign harrass or slander you, let me know.
Of course, Paul gave an example of why he could not be righteous by obeying the law/perfectly obey it. He could not obey the law relating to the inner man, the law no one but he and God need know he broke.
Hope you are not like a woman I chatted to on another site who said all of Torah should be followed. She stated, and I quote:
''Thoughts are not covered by Torah, and they are minimal''

so many misunderstand what Paul meant, me meant the LAW of Moses and not the ten. its all clear to me.
in the post you are responding to here, the biblical quotations given all refer to the ten commandments
2Cor3:6-9, Rom7:7-11&12-14

This is what I believe:

"For through the law I died to the law so that I might live to God." Galatians 2:19. What laws apply to dead people?

But now, having died to what bound us, we have been released from the law, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code." Romans 7:6.

"All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.” The law, however, is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.” Galatians 3: 1-12

When you follow the law, you are not living by faith. That means that you are not pleasing God.

"Before this faith came, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law became our guardian to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian." Galatians 3:23-25

The law does not save us and neither does it make us righteous. "Whoever keeps the whole law, but stumbles at just one point, is guilty of breaking all of it." James 2:10

"But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law." Galatians 5:18

"For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God." Romans 8:14

And all of what you posted is true, well said. It's also true that Jesus fulfilled the law, not one iota of it will disappear and it's now written on our hearts....
The law is useless to save us as it's too late, we've sinned. Entirely saved by Jesus and His sacrifice. God then asked us to do good and follow His commendments, as summed up with the new commendment spoken by Jesus in John 13:34-35, something we will do if we love Him (John 14:15)

Saved by Jesus = true
Asked to follow the word of God = true
Following the word is enough to save us = false

It is always the same, those who either have or look to an external law believe it is possible for them to fully obey it. Those who have and rely on an internal law know that is not possible, for you cannot be in ignorance of what obedience entails concerning an internal law, there is no hiding from it

Thanks. It's not a popular point of view, but it's the truth.

Paul's epistles were written to specific churches and believers, the context is important, ignoring it will cause misinterpretation as we see here. if you do not understand paul's words that he used for specific churches you will err, then its best not to use his verses instead of messing up their meaning like so many do today.

Jesus is the key, all of Paul's epistle have for origin the words of Christ and cannot deviate from what Jesus said I hope this truth becomes clear.
What Paul said is scripture. He was obviously highly displeased with the Galatian church. They started off well and ended up in the law. And that is the sorry state of too many Christians today. I don't expect people to agree with me. God's word is only true to some if it fits their false notions. I do hope that at least some will see the truth and walk in the light.

New Covenant, New Life, New Law. The New Testament makes that clear. Or clear to those who have eyes to see. Read Acts 15 and tell me where it states that gentiles must keep the law.

I agree that these laws should be internal. Written on the heart's and in the minds.

An outward keeping of these laws mean nothing if it isn't for the right reason.

Keeping them for the wrong motives is useless. Because the reason God wants them in the heart is to transform us.

If we are keeping them because we love Jesus and want to reflect His holy character, we will become like Jesus.

Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Psa 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, .... 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Psa 40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

David said "thy law is within my heart."
This was internal..

Do you think that the word of God magically goes into the mind or do we need to spend time reading and studying it.

By reading the 10 commandments you can clearly see what God defines as sin.

Don't presume that the right understanding of God's word will be written on your heart, when you neglect to study the truth set before you.
Funny, God's word says otherwise when it comes to sin. All mankind has a conscience and all mankind knows right and wrong. Davideth kneweth the laweth, but it did not helpeth when he saweth Bathsheba having a bath. You know the rest.

The discussion always comes back to one simple question: When Jesus Himself was asked, "What must I do to enter eternal life?" what did He answer? He answered plainly:

Mat 19:17
...if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments.

Everything else must agree with that answer. If our interpretation makes Jesus' answer no longer true, then our interpretation is wrong.

Many say, "The law is now written on our hearts." Amen. But where does God ever say He replaced His law? Jeremiah says:

Jer 31:33
...I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it...

Notice He says "My law." He does not say, "a new law" or "a different law." The location changes, but the law does not. God's promise is not to remove His commandments, but to change our hearts so we desire to obey them.

Jesus taught exactly the same thing. He said:

Joh 14:15
If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments.

Love is not a replacement for obedience. Love is the reason we obey. Some claim Jesus was speaking under the Old Covenant, but after His resurrection He commanded His disciples to teach everything He had already taught:

Mat 28:20
...teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you...

If His teaching about the commandments no longer applied, why would He tell the apostles to teach everything He had commanded?

Some ask, "Why didn't Jesus answer with John 3:16?" Because He answered the question that was asked. The man asked what he must do to inherit eternal life, and Jesus answered, "Keep the commandments." If someone believes that answer no longer applies, they must explain why Jesus gave it in the first place.

Others say the Holy Spirit replaces the written commandments. Jesus never said that. He said the Spirit would guide us into the truth, not into a different message.

Joh 16:13
...he shall guide you into all the truth...

The Spirit does not contradict Jesus. He reminds us of what Jesus taught and helps us live it.

Many also say that the only law now is love. But Jesus Himself explained that love is the foundation of God's commandments, not their replacement.

Mat 22:40
On these two commandments the whole law hangeth...

How do we love our neighbor? We do not murder him, steal from him, lie to him, or commit adultery against him. The commandments simply show us what love looks like in everyday life.

Another common argument is that no one can obey perfectly. That is true, but Jesus never said that because we fail, we no longer need to obey. Instead, after forgiving sinners, He repeatedly told them:

Joh 8:11
...go thy way; from henceforth sin no more.

Grace is not permission to continue in sin. Grace is God's mercy while we learn to walk in obedience.

Finally, there is one question that rarely gets answered. If the law is now only an "inner law," what exactly is it? Ask ten people, and you often receive ten different answers. Yet Jesus never left us with uncertainty. He gave clear commandments and told His followers to teach them to every nation.

In the end, the choice is simple. Do we believe Jesus' own answer, or do we replace it with another? Jesus said:

Mat 19:17
...if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments.

He also said:

Joh 12:48
...the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day.

If Jesus is truly our Lord, then His own words must remain our highest authority.

Quoting the Word of God is "pat statements"?
Maybe form your own church where they don't quote the Word of God?

By the Law is the knowledge of sin The Law has never made anyone righteous. It was added because of transgressions. But the faith through Christ establishes the Law.

God has said faith says, Look not up into heaven or down into the deep for Christ. But what does it say? The word is in our hearts and in our mouths. That is the word of faith in which we preach. For with the heart one believes into righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto the soul. This is the faith that establishes the law. For Law is in their hearts and minds, they are a new creation in Christ. This is the faith that the just live by. For they are dead but alive. Yet not them but Christ lives in them. And the life they now live in the flesh they live by the faith OF the Son of God who gave themselves for them. For we who have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ that the body of sin be destroyed and that hence forth we do not serve sin.

Quoting the letter and understanding the message are two very different things, the pharisees of Jesus day being a perfect example

If we are dead but alive, yet not us but Christ lives in us and the life we now live in the flesh we live by the faith OF the Son of God who gave Himself for us where is this You and I that you speak?

There is no other profession but this, "Not I but Christ".

Best for you to ignore what I wrote, I guess. Too painful to face up to it.
Paul told born again christians in the present tense, the letter of the ten commandments kills.

If we Love the Lord our God with all our heart and soul and our neighbor as ourselves we will think or feel no ill towards our neighbor. So that what you say is of you. For this Love that is shared with you today has rained down open us from above since Eden and was written in the oracles of God entrusted unto the Jews. That which you so hate, the Torah. This is that which the just live by and is established by the faithful through that Faith that has the Word, the Law in their hearts through Christ and His Spirit.
